@@ivynbean Day 1618. Going through a year is only interesting to get the success on Ironman Veteran. Otherwise it's absolutely useless as in a year you can achieve everything (Kraken, Lorekeeper,...) and no new contracts will appear.
@@friendlystranger1837 Can you imagine what that guy must think? I mean the Deathdancer guy, something like "Another day, another massacre". I can't imagine how he can not get tired of seeing and causing so much death, unless he likes killing people.
@@-18 What are You taking about? He is simply crushing some lowlifes out of pure boredom 🤣 This is probably the best display of how well this game is designed. Wanna run full roster? Sure thing no problem. Want to run lonewolf and terrorise local thugs no matter the odds? Be our guest.
This is pretty crazy and amazing. Perhaps not the best or at the very least could be better still but definitely one of the top ones, at least for me it is. Knowing how Battle Brothers tend to be even on easy, can't fathom the grind and effort that this would need to make it viable.
Wow. This is outstanding. Doing a let's play doesn't have to include commentary if that is what you are concerned about. Captions and a detailed description will key your viewers into the goals/milestones for the video. Your play of this game is spectacular and I for one would watch all the videos of the let's play just to get better.
Thanks for the videos man, I enjoy them a lot! Actually you save me a ton of time, because I don't have to play since I feel like I'm playing when I watch your videos ^_^
Miyamoto Musashi :) Seriously, you are a real expert in the game. I wish you would make a "let's play" series where you also commentate what you are doing and why like Jaysen from Overhype Studios does.
I had in mind to do a LP but my English is not that good. I can write in English but my pronunciation is pretty bad. I also didn't expect to have so many views and subscribers because I don't speak at all in my videos but I guess people enjoy watching some intense battles.
@Weedus caravan guard contracts are actually plenty dangerous, especially when you go through regions with greenskins or large brigand infestations. Sometimes, even Alps might find you a delectable target. A less risky contract is the armed courier contracts. This way, you can avoid dangerous enemies, and if the thieves that stole the cargo are too strong, you could simply cancel it at any time. On the other hand, caravan guarding can sometimes involve fighting an orc warparty with one or more orc berserkers involved. And you know how dangerous orc berserkers are, especially with their signature flails.
It's a slight shame there is no campaign for the game, but this type of game is my game, the newest fire emblem was 40 hour long game that I ended up playing 60 hours post game just grinding my characters to max level simply because I enjoyed the core gameplay loop that much. So with how wheel turn-y Battle Brothers is, It's safe to say I'll like the endless fun.
Damn that dude's scaaary man! Also wow the AI can sometimes do really cool moves, like that shoving you in rangee of that hammer guy for example. Or maybe that was just pure luck lol.
What confuses me is that the archers were the most heroic and fought until the end and the main frontline wanted absolutely none of that shit like halfway through the fight
Hi, I am trying to get the Davkul set and currently have a cultist and a converted cultist and have one cultist join, should I level the new cultist(the sacrifice) or if you know of any other requirements?
This is why game clearly asks you to start a new campaign instead after first crisis. It quite literally says this is going to get more and more pointless after that.
Yea your archer buddy hitting you from 10 feet is realistic Or the chance to miss a naked dude Or the chance for your dog to kill 7 spiders in 1 combat ( yea two dogs crited 15 times in 1 battle didnt get hit once) Is this supposed to be an ultra realistic game?
@@jacktom3799 well giant spiders don't exist, so... I guess the game isn't realistic after all. But it does simulate the effect of randomness pretty well, I feel. Things that are described in Nassim Taleb's books, Thinking: Fast and Slow, the gambler's fallacy, etc.
Legends mod be like: have a level 1 brother with a shield vs enemy rabble with sling, has 5% chance to hit, brother gets hit in 5 continious shots and kills brother singlehandedly
I like that no matter how OP you char is, fights like this in BB are still a big gamble because of the Morale mechanic. Even with a godlike Resolve, a few unlucky rolls and your character is fleeing, i.e. the fight is over.
Hey at the date you are in how many villages/city have been destroyed??? I'm asking because don't now if I should play for a long game or give up and start new game??
0 towns destroyed. I picked the noble houses war first and didn't participate in it. I prepared my squad for the upcoming crisises and challenged every army that was trying to destroy my towns. When I was in a crisis, I only focused on stopping the crisis and nothing else. Map is one of the most important things in this game. If your map doesn't have harbors on every corner you're screwed because you can't move faster to the towns that are being attacked. Here is my map at day 1424: imgur.com/a/ltwJh As you can see, I have harbors all across the map which helped me a lot to protect all my towns. If you have a bad map and many towns got destroyed, I recommend starting again and retry the first battle till you get a good map. Even if it takes 30-60 min, it's worth it to have a good map.
Imz Frozen so you don't get to choose who dies? what about the helmet is it gotten the same way? does the level of the cultist matter? sorry for all the questions but God damn I got to get that armor
You don't choose who dies, it's a veteran but I'm not sure if it's random picked. I didn't get the helmet yet but I have a friend who already has it. He got it basically the same way, it's an event at night triggered by a cultist but without a sacrifice. I'm pretty sure that the cultist has to be level 11+. Also I think that you need 3-4 cultists in order to trigger the events. Here is some info: When my friend got the armor, he had 4 cultists and his most leveled cultist was level 17. When I got the armor I had 6 cultists and my most leveled cultist was level 28. The cultist events happen very rarely, you need some luck at your side.
