7:30 the EGA is in high res mode (640×350) so the 16 colors on the screen are picked from the EGA 64 color pallet :) it is so pity that in low res mode (320x200) you are stuck with 16 colors from CGA 16 colors pallet , and no many games are taking advantage from this :(
@@MontieMongoose this was made for CGA backward compatibility , and monitors can be CGA/EGA at the same time, that why we are fucked with this stupid fixed 16 color pallet in EGA 320x200 mode
