Holy bro this is awesome to see because the note edge was my first phone ever, my father received it as a work phone back when it came out and they eventually 1.5 years later merged his work and personal phone so I ended up getting it and using it up till 2019. Absolutely awesome phone in my opinion

I had an Edge ten years ago. I loved having app shortcuts on the edge panel.

Bold name choice here. I ran a Note Edge for years through college & working at a music store. It got a second life as my mom's phone. It was ultimately run into the ground because the NAND failed. Quite the gimmick, but it had some good use, and it was still a Note so the stylus made it unilaterally as good as the Note 4 it was built from. This being the weird era for Samsung, it was also the year of the Gear S watch. Tizen turned into a wrist phone. Just weird curves and edges.

There was something beautiful about the first edge phones. 🔥

I want a curved edge. Not like this, just a slight curve, it can even be only on the bezel part. More comfortable to hold, and blends into the environment rather than feeling like youre looking through a window.

It was so interesting to see the edge back in the day and seeing it coming it to other devices. Using it tho, it took me a couple hours and I didn’t liked it. Btw don’t forget the Galaxy Alpha, it was like an ultra premium Galaxy S5

The S-pen is why I want any sort of modern Samsung that features it, but the bloatware and pricing from being the topmost manufacturers in Android makes them look like right S-holes. (Presently searching for something with a hefty battery reliable for life by the arctic circle, because cold and modern batteries do not mix very well)

I was never a fan of the curved edge screen or infinity display. I still have a Samsung S10 5G and it has flaws that are directly related to the screen. Sometimes when things dip over the edge they become hard to click on. It also isn’t very one hand friendly. It’s best used with a case that doesn’t let the skin between your index finger and thumb touch the curve. When that part of your hand touches the curve it can disrupt how your thumb interacts with the rest of the screen. It also causes a lot of accidental touches when housing the phone. I used the Samsung Note 8 and Samsung Note 9 and they also had this problem. The Samsung S8 and S9 also had this problem as well. The S8 and S9 where some of the most beautiful phones ever made which makes these problems seem that much worse. Ultimately I have to say that I’m really glad that Samsung got rid of the curved edge displays and went back to flat screens on the phones.
