Zoobilee Zoo bro I'm Muslim so let me answer. every country was at war in the past. so we should look at the present. America and Israel are to blame. notice how whenever the wrsf interferes with secular, middle East states, chaos will always arise there.
Fun fact. In WW2, during the Battle of Stalingrad the opposing forces were also a grenade throw away from each other. The Soviets called this tactic "Hugging the enemy" and it prevented German air bombings from being effective since the 2 sides were so close to each other that there was no way a German bombing wouldn't kill it's own men.
I’m four years late to this comment but I was about to comment that this is modern day Stalingrad. This is some of the most brutal fighting I’ve ever seen like Jesus Christ. I can’t even fathom it. I saw another sky news video of iraqi soldier shoot a rocket into a building his boys were breaching and accidentally killed like 5 of his own injuring many. Just pure chaos….Poor ppl
long live Bahdini Kurd general fadel berwari from duhok city and long live Bahdini Kurds in zakho duhok domis and mosul city in north west iraq on turkish and syrian border. from fare north west of iraq on turkish and syrian border living in europe here.
No. they need to rebuild it and keep some of the damages intact. a city like Mosul is not just going to rot away. it carries too much history and importance. do your research.
MakeItCount231 lack of research is not what my comment is based on. Regardless of the age of 30 sometimes they don't get to continue to exist. Has nothing to do with the people who live in that city. There are cities throughout Europe that were destroyed in World War II that are no longer there and there are some of the rebuilt. Syria needs to keep these cities destroyed as a reminder because the problem still exist.
Its sad to see that cities like Mosul and Aleppo have become modern day Stalingrad with very little left yet, plenty of fighting to clean up the ISIS mess that is lingering.
mike pk666 no that was allepo . right now russians gaved the honorific name of little sister of volgograd ( stalingrad ) to allepo few weeks before its liberation
I like the analogy, however, Kobani was ISIS's Stalingrad. That's where they were stopped and have been on the retreat ever since, just like the Wehrmacht. Mosul is more like Berlin, this is where the caliphate was declared and this is where it ends.
Josey Wales unfortunately they still have a significant stronhold in Raqqa, Syria. That is where they will be crushed and finally defeated, however there will always be another extremist group to rise from the ashes.......
Long story short, Kurdish commander ordered the Iraq Army Soldiers to retreat from Nineveh Region and even abandoned them, multiple Iraqi Officers abandoned their Soldiers and the govenor of Mosul ordered the Soldiers to retreat. Answer is : CORRUPTION.
While in the middle east Daesh is losing groung and Iraqi Armed Forces are just days away from victory, here in South East Asia especially Phillipines is fighting Daesh and is only just begun. And the Daesh treath wasn't just stop there, Indonesia, Singapore, and possibly other South East Asia nations could under threat by Daesh.
Just 4 years ago, these men were running from ISIS. Now they are pounding them. Much respect, and they are Federal Police, not military. I applaud to that.
iraqi men have stepped up ....n delivered America is proud to have them as a Ally....yes the rats should of never been allowed to take this land but one good thing that came out is the bravery from this men trying to get their country back...if Republicans send Marines the iraquis would never gotten a chance to prove themselves go coalition
FLOOR BY FLOOR ROOM BY ROOM ONE RAT AT A TIME (Cod world at war USSR taking Berlin in 1945) reminds me of that inshallah Iraq will win !!! love from Pakistan we're w u!!!
ISIS are simply mercenaries, from around the globe, with fake ideology. They have platoons with special military training, engineers capable of even building remotely controlled planes (for remote detonation) or even excavator. When u see the truth of ISIS, u will realize what kind of support they have.
It's no longer important whether the war ends or not. All the cities of the country have already been destroyed and thousands of people already died. Also, I cannot see any end for the IS and the war in the near future, unfortunately.
Iraq is no longer under Saudi takfiri rule. A beautiful and prosperous brand new Iraq will rise out of the ashes of these takfiri Saudi burnt out dead bodies.
The war against terrorism is a departure from the whole world alone, despite the delay of the American aid intended to prolong the war and support the clear terrorism, but it was brutally defeated by it and defeated the American and Israeli plan thanks to the heroes of the popular popular crowd and our security forces.
I'm worry about this isn't end but begining. religional conflict in iraq is did'nt end yet. and from the political unstable in iraq, islam fundamentalism can spread again
