I normally don’t condone fighting but… this was definitely called for. He flat got run right over by the other driver who couldn’t seem to hold his line for the life of him. You drive like a dork, you’re going to get swatted for it.

I dont know either one of these guys. Never saw them race before.. I watched the line of both cars.. 51 line was same every lap, low in drift to high out. 22 was high and low, looking for his move. As a driver for SEVEN DECADES, I would have NEVER decide to pass outside on the back stretch KNOWING the 51 car has consistently goes outside every lap! The door was going to close! Time to change my lane to make the pass underneath!

When Little Al was being shown the way in a Sprint Car by his Uncle, Custom seats hadn't happened yet. He was winning where ever he went while having to sit on a phone book to see over the cowl. The local hot shoes, when they were beaten by an Unser the crew members where waiting with big wrenches at the start of the exit ramp right after he had left the track. Back in the day the culprit driver here would have been lucky to leave the track alive had he done anything like that back in the day

Slides jobs that we see with todays drivers are just nuts. Most of the time they pull them off but when they don`t its bad. Racing used to be a little cleaner but with the drive it in hard and hope the other guy lifts means that anything can and will happen. 51 doored Winger but I am surprised Winger thought he was gonna race him clean. Carter should have been put to the tail and I hope he was. Slide jobs make for great racing but they are also very dangerous without trust from the other driver.

51 couldn't drive a sharp stick up a goat's a$$. Something that jumped out at me tho, I never liked the edge of the racing surface not being fenced, or at very least graded better. Dangerous. Same on the front stretch. We have one like that here in AZ, great fast track casa grande fairgrounds. But dangerous leaving the racing surface, seen quite a few guys hurt like that.

When you take the outside lane, you better be ready for anything...inside lane car was sliding up...either off the track or knock down the wall. Winger has a lot to learn yet.

22 put a text book slide job right across the front of the 51 previous lap, 22 goes around the outside and 51 attempts a slide and was nowhere near pulling it off. I would have done everything in my power the rip the 51's face off. No way the 51 can say he didn't know he was outside and coming fast.

I don't have an issue with the drivers dealing with this incident themselves. But the crew members should of never been on the track and should absolutely be penalized for it. The track officials should have done something besides stand there and watch when they went on the track.

I don't believe these race cars have rub rails? Clean race or go to the back. Demolition Derby is for the junk cars. Driving in way over his head. That pissed me off as a fan.

That has to be the most dangerous race track I have ever seen. You slide off the racetrack and fall into a gully. Stupidity on steroids.

#51 McCarter, I wouldn't say dirty driving but lack of respect and not holding his line. Yes he was entering low and drifting high but he knew Winger was there. They were side by side going into 1 with Winger on the high side. A smart driver would have throttled down and blocked the crossover mover out of 2. Slide jobs by #22, Winger were both clean only to be doored harder and harder each lap. Overall it's a racing incident that is no good for either driver. McCarter, #51, probably fely horrible about it. Winger, #22, was pissed as well to be expected and probably a bit banged up afterwards. Minors bruises is all in betting. Thank God for the safety equipment doing its job. And thank God Himself for looking over both drivers. We can all sit here and be keyboard warriors, but only those two driver know exactly how it all happened. I say as long as both driver are ok, then so be it. Cars can be rebuilt or replaced, a human cannot

I been goin to dirt races for 40 yrs an dont think I've ever seen a track like that imo it needs a wall its way to dangerous for a driver to go off like that imo.. 51 ran the same exact line every single lap. 22 put himself in that position. 51 ran from the bottom of the corner to the top of the straight before entry to the next corner every single lap. That's why the 22 runs off the track 3 times with his nose to the 51's door. He knew exactly where the 51 would be every single lap. If you watch, the 22 never pulls past the 51 cars numbers when he runs outside of the 51 even on that last lap the 22 didn't get past the 51's door numbers. 51 more than likely thinks he has him beat like he had him beat every single time before that. Bottom line is the 51 changed nothing yet the 22 put himself in the position to be run off the track not once but 4 times! 3 times he didn't lose it and the 4th he did. If a guy runs the exact same line nearly every single lap and you put yourself where he has been running in the way the 22 did you're probably going to get doored. I've watched it ten times now. 51 had the line, the same line hed been running the entire race, 22 put himself in that position. And to those that say he should have heard him you can't always hear the other guy. If he had a raceceiver in he really probably didnt hear him. But he also probably thought I've run the same entire line this whole race and its been working so I'm going to keep running this line. 22 was racing hard. He gambled on it and he lost that gamble. He should be more pissed off that he's racing at a track that has no walls to keep that from happening. It's like racing at Ark-La-Tex it has some of the same issues no walls so you can be run off the track. Houston Raceway Park had a totally different but just as dangerous issue in the corners after they shortened their track. They let grass grow up on the ledges created when they filled in the corners and cars would jump the cushion and hit the grass and they would pick up speed before they hit the wall. I've never raced with the 51 before. Maybe hes a jerk that always drives dirty I don't know all I do know is he didnt do anything wrong. He held his line every time. He was extremely predictable in where he was going to be and when.

I don't believe the 51 done this on purpose. It's called a slide job!! The leader is never going to check up and let the 2nd place car go around him. It's the 2nd place cars job to either brake and fall in line and go back at him. There was 15 laps to go. Winger had plenty of laps to collect and go back at it as fast as he was. As fast as Winger was, he could've waited on the slide and shot under him for the lead. The fight was uncalled for and I'm afraid to say it but I believe the 22 driver and crew will miss a few races in the next month or so.

22 put himself in a bad spot..have to be patient and setup a little earlier in the corner.

The 51 ran the same line every lap. I think the 51 was going to keep running his prefered line reguardless, maybe he was thinking the 22 would let off. If the 22 would have let off he probably would have passed him in a couple of laps. Could have done it because the 22 slid up on the 51 causing him to check up and lose momentum.

I'm sorry, but when you push track workers, walk onto the track and then attempt to attack other crew members you and your crew should receive a lifetime ban for that sanctioning body. Do we need another death on the track until we learned. If it were up to me Winger and his crew wouldn't be near a track anymore.

51 of Mack ran a clean consistent line as he ran a diamond pattern on the track. The 22 of Winger was all over the track trying to make the pass, but could never get it stick for long enough. Winger should have run the same line and passed underneath going into the corner. He had way more car than Mack did and could have easily pulled away with the win. The only two things Winger could have done in that situation is brake to avoid the collision or put his LF bumper into Macks RR bumper and sent Mack for the tumble. It's a crappy situation all around, but that's racing.

Dude hooked a rut and hit him. Its racing. Winger should be suspended a few races. You dont attack someone whos in his car. After the race by all means get knocked out.

Two guys racing hard, everybody knows you gotta tuck under the guy pulling a slider. Then the whole crew thinks it's cool to run on the track and try to beat up a guy belted in. Seems to me some of you guys need a reality check. If you think that's cool or justified then it's a good thing you keyboard warriors don't have the cash to race.

The track design may be more at fault than either of the drivers. (1) There should be a retaining wall around the track. (2) If not, there should be a GENTLE slope when cars leave the track to minimize the chance of a roll-over like this. (Even the announcer referred to the "hole" off turn two.)

Risky being on the outside of the turn, you are counting on the other driver having control,,,,,When you both are on the edge, bad place to be.....

The inside car went just as wide on the previous lap, so it's reasonable to think he'd be that wide again. There was no foul play. The losers conduct with the marshals and the safety team was terrible, not to mention the other driver. The fact his team joined in is even worse, and should be disqualified from the next few races.

It was hard racing, but the fight was wrong, I believe the crew and driver should be banned for at least a month or so ...... Biggest question I have is did they put the 51 to tail for causing spin? I like tracks that have rule spinner and car causing spin both to tail
