Ah, memories. I remember nearly having a heart attack when the npc at the Battle Pike said Lucy wanted to battle me, and practically did have one when this total bang of a music track started. (I had to take a minute to calm my nerves before choosing my first move). I lost, but DAMN if it didn't feel immensely epic.
Wait, YOU TOO? When I was 5, I used to be so scared of that maid. I still remember how I felt. The simple fact that she walked towards you was creepy to me
I know right?! It was just after 2 rounds at the pike and the made was there all ‘oh hey, you know how it took like 7 rounds at the battle tower next door? Well this much quicker facility only takes two, good luck!’
I remember being unprepared for the blonde karate girl or whatever her name is, i almost won because i had Heracross, Metagross and Swampert. I wouldve won if i had a rock type move against that shendinja
@@KoenJ02 Yes, but to be fair, Emerald was my first Pokemon game so I'm very biased. I do like the Sinnoh remix of this song though. It's more fun and upbeat imo, but I still prefer the original. Also, I wish they would have used the Sinnoh version in BDSP when you battle Palmer
Pokemon company updates their website to celebrate the Hoenn region. Has section specific to showcasing the battle frontier. Masuda I hope you see that. And hear this.
The song of utter triumph after having studied and practiced the ways of EV training and moveset building to get this far! ... Or of being completely screwed over by a Latios and being forced to go through the gauntlet all over again. XD
She definitely blossomed into the business woman look very nicely. I really like her new design a lot more than her original. She has a lot more style.
This is almost perfect. The only thing that could be improved would be adding some more noticeable trumpets after 1:49. Otherwise, this is completely flawless.
The fact that this theme breaks the trend of pokemon tracks progressively going up then down at the beginning by going up then up AGAIN speaks magnitudes in a way I didn’t think possible. At 00:14 btw.
I was super pissed when we didn't get the battle frontier in ORAS. Thanks for giving me a remix that resembles what could have been. Thanks for your continued hard work!
Fantastic! This is one of my favorite remixes of the song I've ever heard, great job! I think the only feedback I have is that the trumpets around 7 seconds in with the very quick notes kinda blend together, and I feel that it sounds a bit better with more separation between the notes. I'm not sure if it was the echo or something done by design, but I thought I should share that thought! Fantastic work regardless
It's hard to work with these kind of articulations when using real-life instruments, this one is called "staccato", the original games use sampled versions of instruments that don't have any natural expression, that's why you can hear a "separation" between the notes. Hope this is useful for this and future themes i'll do to understand how instruments work.
I usually don't post comments but I want you to know. You already made my day when you uploaded your cover of the Battle Pike theme. But this. This is perfect.
Annabel in the game: yay I like to make pretty hair! Annabel in the picture: Annabel, leader of the ultra recon squad. this knowledgeable yet soft-spoken woman leads an army of four, setting there goals on bringing peace back to the world they once knew. she and her squad are above all government agencies, as she alone defeated Giovanni in World War 2. working to take down the great Maxie after his ruthless havoc upon the world, she fights as a symbol of hope and for all those whose lives were taken from them. some would call her rouge but as to her, she believes you can't fix the world with the knowledge you used to destroy it, that being said some rules must be broken so that others can be restored.
How didn't I find your channel earlier ??? Your remasters are really awesome ! Keep up the good work, I hope more people will find your channel and subscribe to it
(+@Pachi) Hey, it’s all right. No worries. 🖐😏 Still, I got to admit that was hilarious. I can’t wait for my next visit. Perhaps some other surprise will be awaiting me.
This is an insanely good theme as it is, but w o a h this is even better! It gives me the vibes of like, a huge group of Ultra Beasts show up somewhere along the player character's journey right at the climax of the story, and the gym leaders and your rivals help you fight them. Then just as it looks like you're about to lose, there's an Endgame-style moment where Anabel and Looker jump out of an Ultra Wormhole and help you win. Basically, great remix (even though I'm pretty late finding it). I love it.
Man this is really refreshing to hear after how badly ORAS butchered the tempo of the drums, among other things. A lot more faithful to the original, props for that.
Could you make a remastered version of the Pokemon sword and shield trainer theme for my birthday tommorow?Kinda like this but with a little orchestra.
This is actually brought up in the anime when she goes into another room to get changed and Ash thinks it's because May was there before Anabel points out that she's a girl.
