The very first time I heard this song I have learnt two things: Even after 100 years, some guardians still have functioning legs and THEY ARE FAST AS FUCK

I love how the scariest thing in game has the catchiest tune at least imo

The way the piano riff at the beginning kind of perfectly matches up with not only your pure fear but also with the laser pointing at link, is terrifying and awesome

After the terrifying beginning, this song sounds so strange without the beeping of a guardian’s laser pointed at you.

The theme of "FRICK, I MISSED MY ANCIENT ARROW!"

Hear this while I’m playing my game: panic Realize I am strong and can kill it: calm The music doesn’t stop after I killed it: panic

Imagine youre walking out in a feild, nobody around, no phones, nothing. Until you hear this theme and see a red beam of light

I love how this has a solid loop. Very mechanical sounding, perfect for the Guardians.

Ok yes, the song scares the hell out of me, but I kinda like the violin part

I remember the first time I killed a guardian with a pot lid I didn't

The section at 1:13-1:31 is really cool. You never hear it in-game because you've either beaten it, escaped or died. Wish it played sooner.

I wished they made guardians faster and able to chase you down for larger distances in the master mode, that would have been a nightmare but a cool one for sure

And that's a true definition of "Why do I hear boss music."

At the start if the game I was scared of guardians now every time I see one I go on a killing spree of guardians

I never thought I’d see the day when I would miss these things

It’s funny how this theme can actually convey progress in the game when you first hear it the theme is basically just one word RUN but as you progress gain more confidence and overall become better at the game it slowly comes to a point where this song is a warning except one which you’re not afraid of anymore it shows how much you gained in terms of power and how much more ready you are now than you were before

PSA- If you stasis a guardian when theyre about to fire, the laser lock on gets reset.

I love how you can hear a repeating piano sound mimicking circuitry with how it has like 4 low pitch notes going up and back down. It feels stuttered.

This feels oddly calming, like I could listen to this while going on a walk

They’ve managed to make piano music emit anxiety. They win, they just win.

The scary thing about guardians is that they are machines, the other creatures might feel a little bad for killing you, but guardians know no difference between life and death. They can and will kill you, and they will feel nothing in the process.

I remember at some point, guardians stopped being a threat to me. In fact I used to use them as an outlet to take out my frustration The legs have their own HP, and breaking them stuns the guardian. Add on the fact that their only attack takes like 20-30 seconds to charge and the fact that they get stunned when you shoot them in the eye and you can see why they were so easy to take down Their high HP along with how easily they get stunned made them prime targets for me to take my anger out on. It was almost like the song was *my* theme and not theirs.

Rest in peace to Reece. We were making our way through castle town after getting the master sword and a guardian was chasing us and I had to make a turn to get to hebra when the guardian killed him in cold blood. That was before I knew I could bring him back to life but then when I did something just seemed off about him like his body had a new soul placed inside him. He always ran off from enemies and never fought them like the brave horse he was. Eventually when some stalmoblins came he ran off a cliff and I never brought him back after. Found a better horse afterwards. Now whenever I see a stalhorse or whatever they’re called I think to myself that could be reese and he might be angry for my betrayal of picking a new horse. So rest in piece Reece. 😭

If you want this to be even more fear-inducing, set it as your alarm so you don't only associate it with guardian jumpscares but also with the terror of waking up.

I love how if your fighting something else with its theme playing, this theme will take over like the game is saying “BUT WHAT’S THIS!?”

Anxiety, in musical form

I’ve got to warn you, it’s a learning robot. Every moment you spend fighting it only increases its knowledge on how to beat you.

I will never forget when I first heard this...I was just riding my horse admiring the beautiful new lands of Hyrule. I could almost feel the breeze and smell the scent of the surrounding ponds as my horse galloped through them...and then I started hearing the subtle piano solo ever so terrifyingly starting. I frantically panned my entire surroundings only to be greeted by a laser that barely missed my face exploiding in the distance as it hit the ground ahead of me, causing my surround sound system to shake my room...luckily before the laser made contact I commanded my steed to sprint at the right moment.... Gathering myself I looked back and that's when I saw it for the first time...a fully functional Guardian... "what in the fuck is that" I thought to myself....as I prepared to command my horse to make a break I began to see it preparing a second attack...a collection of blue particles collecting together to claim my very life. Zig zagging through the fields all I could feel was the rumbling of my controller with each missed shot praying I didn't get hit....I escaped and vowed to never ever get caught by one again....until I got my Master Sword 😈

Coming back from TOTK, I can say we had it easy with Stalker Guardians. Them hands are FAST.

This gives me the same vibe as the Warning theme in Legends Arceus when an Alpha Pokemon is nearby.

If anxiety was a video game character, this would be his theme.

I have this song as a ringtone on my phone. Never fails to make me answer quickly, and never fails to make anyone near who hears it nervous

Within the week that I've started playing this song has gone from vein popping stress to a farming theme

Did you know you can mind control Guardians? You just gotta go on top of its head, hold ZL and move in the opposite direction of which you want it to go. It's amazing. They go fairly fast, and the only monsters you have to worry about really are other Guardians and monsters with arrows. Plus imagine waltzing into Hyrule Castle on a Guardian. That would be simply epic.

This brings back the time when I was attempting to climb up the Central Tower. I swear my heart was beating so fast and also my palms were so sweaty.

i remember. me and my friend were talking about guardians while i was trying to get a horse to a stable and when he mentioned gurdian stalkers, out of nowhere comes one and we panicked like crazy

Me: *Climbs mountain* Me: *Hears theme and a MOVING guardian* Guardian: *Looks at me* Me: "oh, oh crap, not good" *nearly has heart attack* "um, uh, bye" *proceeds to jump off cliff*

The theme of “if attacking enemies head on is your go to, then you’re already dead”

Imagine you’re just peacefully in your room and this starts playing

I love how this used to terrify me early game but now it's like "Welp, let's go"

It's kinda weird not having lasers targeting us & hearing this theme in Tears Of The Kingdom 😭

i think nintendo did a great job on finding a battle theme for the gaurdian. its my favorite battle theme

Reminds me of the first time I killed a Guardian with the Master sword. The Change to the theme when you cleave off a Guardians Leg with the Blade is such an energizing moment.
