I drove Warrior during the mid 90’s.Great bit of kit and loads of fun to drive.And on a cold night you’ve got a warm engine to sleep next too which is a bonus.👌

I recall working with the 7 armored brigade in Germany in 1982 watching 100 + Chieftain tanks and 600 APC forming up in a narrow wooded area 🤔

I remember the battalion going to the Autobahn in Germany there was tanks and 432 armoured personal carrier. About 30 vehicles looked impressive while looking out from our APC.

I think since we have withdrawn from the role we had in post war West Germany and then the unification of Germany and the end of the cold war our tank regiments were reduced considerably being an island nation also contributed to that situation, but of course this current threat to world peace requires us not too reduce our boots on the ground so too speak anymore and keep a strong reserve up to scratch,we cannot be complacent, we are still a global power, I trained on centurion in the early seventies

When it was cold as l was radio operator sitting next to the engine kept the cold away from our bodies.

We rarely get to see things like this in the States unless you're close to a military Installation. Can you identify the vehicles at the beginning ? Scimitar ? Sultan ?

British armed forces 2022... Type 45 destroyers don't work properly... Its cool the type 23s work fine. The Ajax is an unusable piece of junk... Its cool the warrior IFV still work fine F-35 constant issues ridiculously expensive ... Its cool the typhoons still work fine. Why can't we get the people who designed the Typhoons, the Type 23, the Warrior IFV and get those guys to build our kit and put the new guys in prison, the same prison the LCS people should be in. There's just always so much incompetence and corruption in defence procurement and nobody ever goes to prison for it.

Troops don't have authority to stop civie traffic so the troops have to give way I use to control crossing points for my unit which used MLRS we also had to clean away any mud put on the public road by our guys
