Erza being able to cry out of her other eye hit home for me. I was born 3 months premature and a birth defect for me because of that was my tear ducts not fully forming. I was unable to produce tears as a result for almost 9 years until I had cancer which caused the floodgates to finally open due to how much pain I was in. I actually first thought it was a side effect of the medication I was on instead of a normal human bodily function because I didn't know that. So seeing her cry out of her eye like that made me cry again. Also, natsu not being able to get past the barrier will be important later on
Gajil playing lingtning rod to protect Levy still is one of my favorite moments in the show :3 Right up their with Lucy jumping off a tower, in the Phantom Lord arc, becouse she knew Natsu was close by and would catch her xD
gajeel protecting levy (and that whole scene really) singlehandedly made him one of my favorite characters, it's crazy how a small scene like that can be so impactful I love it

funny that with Gajeel the progression goes like "What? Why's he here? don't like it, don't trust him, its weird", and then he goes all "shooby-do-ba" and you think "wait, am i going to like him?", and he protects Levy and we're all like "shit, i love him now". Fairy Tail do this often i think 😄, you think you hate a character and you would never like or forgive them, but then suddenly you love them and you can't remember anything that they did wrong.
Ok , you just got to believe me , fairy tail legit has some of the best foreshadowing , set up , and payoff I’ve seen in an anime . So what dosnt make sense now (especially in this arc) will make so much more sense later .
And so the Gajeel/Levi Ship begins. For him to step in to protect Levi after what he did to her really shows how much that guilt weighed on him. Gajeel is one of the best characters in the show imo. Love a Villain-to-Hero type
About Gajeel's music... He is actually a very good composer. But when it comes to singing and playing instruments... well, not so much. Nevertheless, he never lets what others think about his music affect him the slightless.
I disagree. I'm with Zamber, he's sounds good to me. Plus David Wald who plays Gajeel can actually carry a tune. He does a snippet of singing in the Haikyu dub as well.

Dude, don’t you know how fandoms work? Two characters are in the same room, interact at all, or exist in the same continuity = Shipped. The RWBY fandom taught me that madness ages ago.
I just realized. Gajeel IS Vegeta of Fairytail. (Slight spoiler below but wasn't actually too relevant at the plot) The "rival" of the main guy, who antagonized a girl at first and then ends up with that particular girl.

As usual, there’ll be twists and turns, plus a lot of destroyed property. But that’s Fairy Tail for you. Also it’s safe to watch this intro fully at episode 45. A few of the early OP’s are pretty spoilery, but they get better as the seasons/op’s go on. When I watched FT, I watched the OP once when it first appears to get a teaser, and then skipped it after until the next. Slight benefits to goldfish memory… Laxus isn’t sexist, he’s just a jerk right now.
So, Gajeel. Stopping someone from doing evil is no big deal; that's just what heroes do. But stopping someone from being evil takes a leap of faith. Not the first time Makarov's made that leap either. Remember, he also let a young man choose not to murder all the guild leaders with Lullaby.
Maybe Laxus petrified the girls before the battle cuz he knows how powerful they r cuz he kinda grew up with most of em like he knows Erza is a threat and Mira is S class too so they both were needed to be taken out as then out of the 5 S class of Fairy tail without Mystogan no was that much of a threat against him, levy is the smartest so she she would also be helpful for the guild if she was not stoned, Cana is powerful too, and then Juvia was part of the element 4 , Biska is literally a sniper and Lucy getting stronger too as she has Loki aquerious taurus and virgo :)

The battle of Fairy Tail is my favorite arc from the ones I’ve seen. (I have not finished the anime) It has my favorite characters in it and is just a lot of fun to watch!
yessss my fave ship, Gajeel & Levy.................... Gajeel is definitely a fun addition to the guild because now we have two "dragon slayers" not including Laxus
I remembered how much I loved this mini arc Lauxus has a reason not really justified why he’s hungry for power which is semi sweet and sad but yeah the end of the fighting where they fight him is kinda dirty cause the opponent will already be weak ._. Also next episode you should watch them in 2 again >:) a special character comes back
You only got 6 episodes of the first season left. I know I told you this before, but there are 3 things you should know to avoid spoilers. 1. When you get to season 2, do not watch opening until you get to episode 54 to avoid spoilers. 2. Same with season 3, wait til episode 80 to watch the opening. 3. Now this is for the ending title which is really. Starting from episode 86, stop when you get to the birthday party shot and don’t watch the rest until episode 95. took me years to figure it out so I'm sharing its not a spoiler at all just a cool thing so the thunder legion is called that because thunder follows lightning and they follow Laxus they also all have eye magic because the eye of the storm thing just thought their theming is cool
I hated Laxus sm during this arc I already didn’t like him before but this man got on my nerves sm. When I saw he had his partner turn the women into stone I was like wtf especially threatening to kill them like excuse me what. I love Juvia’s new outfit but it’s still not her best outfit yet. We all will come to love Gajeel’s character development cause he’s one of my favorites.
Okay. The arc runs through episode 48. 49 might seem like filler, but something happens that becomes very important very soon. Ep 50 is filler, but still fun. Ep 51 is kinda filler, but that sets up something that becomes very important later. Then ep 52 starts the next big arc.
I think that episode 50 adapts an actual manga chapter that was originally skipped. 51 is half-canon since it’s partially based on an omake by Mashima with a filler B-plot to pad out the episode. 52 is completely canon and correctly placed in order.
