@@Overlandjon Speaking of wrong, the Soviets were infact prepared, however it was a shocking surprise to them that the encirclement of vyazma and Bryansk came which costed them approximately half of their Moscow defenders, however the city itself remained the most fortified city in Europe until the end of Barbarossa, the Soviets still resupplied and sent over Siberian divisions to humiliate the Germans.. Also your "if' is a very big scenario, the Germans did not have the capability to resupply their army correctly in a short amount of time, that's why before Fall Blau it took them a few months to begin their attack considering this "resupplying" you speak about..

I do not deny the heroism of my ancestors, and besides, someone from my family also died at the front, but judging by this map and many other sources, it is obvious that Germany simply could not win! Her military strategy was designed for a quick victory, and she won it over a huge number of Red Army formations. It was a humiliation! but neither the human nor the economic resources of Germany were simply not enough to continue this onslaught, and the offensive inevitably choked near Moscow, after which the war was lost for Germany, and people who understand how the economy works, long before Stalingrad, told Hitler that Germany was doomed, as the German Empire was doomed after the failure of the Schlieffen plan

In the late summer of 1941. The Red Army lost that many soldiers in and around Keiv. It's the largest encirclement of any Army in history. Yet the Soviets survived. The Soviets had almost an unlimited amount of manpower to call upon.

People who say the Soviets don’t use human wave tactics should look at the tactics and casualties they had.

You should read some researches about Soviet tactics. I wanna remind you that military casualties of Germany and Soviets on the Eastern front were pretty much equal at the end of the WWII. Soviets lost about 27 millions of its population, from which 10 millions were soldiers & officers and the rest 17 millions were just civilians. Germany lost about 18 millions of its population, from which 10 millions were soldiers & officers, who had lost their lives on the Eatern front, 2 millions were those, who had lost their lives on the Western front, and just 6 millions were civilians.
