Unfortunately, that was the time Uniwide Holdings, Inc. incurring huge losses as a result of 1997 Asian financial crisis, and never recovered until its bankruptcy and liquidation in 2013. Me and my mom went to the soft opening of Uniwide Coastal Mall in January 1998 as a birthday present, and I can still remember the smell of fresh paint when we go shopping there. But that was the first, and turns out to be the last I have visited there. That supermall never went fully operational until the closure and demolition of that place alongside the demise of Uniwide as a whole. Sad times... 😢

@Michael..thanks for posting this. Sure brings back the memories from 25 yrs and 60lbs ago :)

Fun fact: The inspiration of this give birth to the others. In Philippines, there's Campus Challenge with additional podium while in Korea there's Superkids (according to Arirang Quiz Show), albeit referred the segment that has podium is Fact Master.
