Some months ago I've had the opportunity to play the amazing pipe organ at Sant Andreu Church in Mallorca, Spain. The Jordi Bosch Organ houses the largest existing manual-mixture in the World and also has some Spanish Trumpets which are one of the best I've ever heard! An absolute joy to play!
I hope you'll enjoy this recording of the 'Dialogue' by an anonymous composer, recorded on the pipe organ at St Andreu in Santanyi, Spain. You can download the sheet music for free on IMSLP: vmirror.imslp....

A very beautiful piece of music that demonstrates well the tonal possibilities of this historic Spanish organ.. Very bight and cheerful flutes here, as well as spikey reeds. A nice video presentation of the organ and church also.. A very artistic presentation today, both musically and visually. Thank you, Paul.

I can't help but to wonder how it would sound, if this piece was used in an organ duel. Atleast for those few who are lucky enough to have two organs in their church

Dear Paul, oh my, but that is an awesome piece of music and an incredible organ. I’ve never heard such a variety of trumpets and at various placement! The more I listen to this piece over and over, I realized as I was listening through my car system, that sounds like a symphony!❤ The low end sounded like double basses with flutes and trumpet solo coming in and out in a most glorious manner. A most gorgeous piece of music played in an incredible organ by my favorite organist!!❤. It doesn’t get much better than that. 😊 Thank you so much, Royden

WOW Paul! 😃 Es ist ja nicht damit getan, dass ich ein Musikstück spielen kann. Du hast eine außerordentliche Gabe für ein Orgelinstrument ein passendes Stück zu finden. Es hört sich an, als wäre dieses Stück nur für diese Orgel geschrieben. Hammer!

Thank heaven no one "restored" this organ, AND Paul knows how to make it sing in its austere majesty. E. Power Biggs was the last one who seemed to understand the nuances of the utterly priceless treasure Baroque Spanish organs. Hoping that more people come to understand these unique treasures. BTW Frack A 440, and invention of the DEVIL. !!!

What nonsense about E. Power Biggs! That arthritic old man couldn't connect two notes together to save his life. Only an organist could get away with such a gross lack of technique. That fact that Biggs is actually considered a "gifted" keyboard player says heaps the dismal state of organ performance.

Absolutely lovely! Thank you for your performance. But I need to ask about the condition of that organ. There seems to be (at least) a rank of missing reed resonators (e.g., at 1:52). And some of the trumpets look a bit rough.
