Hey there! I'm Paul Fey and I was born in 1998 in a small town near Leipzig. I've always loved playing music, especially because of the way it can connect people, and the feelings it can communicate.
Before going on to study organ and sacred music full time at the specialist university in Halle (Saale), I completed a three-year training course in office administration with a huge television broadcaster in Germany - which certainly fuelled my love for video production and editing even more!
Apart from recording videos for my RU-vid channel, and video production for friends and family, I have been playing organs all over the Leipzig region for workshops and concerts - including services at St. Thomas Church, Leipzig, as well as the newly built Propsteikirche, Leipzig, and all the other surrounding churches.
I hope you enjoyed reading a bit about me and my work. Please feel free to get in touch with me via email or via the RU-vid comments!
Paul, im new to hauptwerk setup. I have a 2 manual console. Are you able to assign stops from a third and maybe fourth manual within 2 manuals? Thank you!!
I wanted to ask you about reverb actually, - you basically tend to buy dry samples and then you turn on some hauptwerk reverb feature or you just buy wet samples and thats it? (I was thinking about buing dry samples and than using some awesome tool like Strymon Big Sky)
Hey, lieber Paul. Schon interessant, deine Hauptwerkorgel. Technik machts möglich. Ich denke, dass es dir auch besonders gefällt zu spielen und komponieren. Viel Spaß und danke für's zeigen, lieber Paul. Bis demnächst und gute Videos, wünscht dir Steffen.
Paul love your new home , if you’re neighbors give you a hard time about that heavenly music that eliminates from your home , you can always have a home in the USA 🇺🇸 my doors are always open to you maestro ❤ Richard NYC
Those are not organs. Those are poor simulators of the king of instruments which is the pipe organ. They are like Clavias for the piano, on which no one would record Chopin or Rachmaninov... and instead here there is even a performance at the end of the video. Poor organ world, where will we end up. Then let's not be surprised if organs are replaced in churches with these inflatable dolls.
Paul loving this little videos from your home to the organ store with all the variety of different organs , that was a real treat thank you Love you Richard USA 🇺🇸
There's another recording of this piece played on the organ of the Cologne Cathedral, it reminds me of it. This piece for organ also being the hymn of Cologne, it brings tears into my eyes watching it 2000 kilometers away from my old home town. Absolutely beautiful.
Yup! MIDI cable is best connection option for Hauptwerk, GrandOrgue and other virtual organ stuff. Tip for beginners: buy branded MIDI interface, cheap cable (no brand) often not working (error code 10). Greetings and I waiting for this video 😊
