@@pelicanchampion8629 you’re absolutely right. Ethan had no team at the start. Ethan wasn’t as well trained as Chris. Ethan didn’t have Chris’s experience with bioweapons (or at least not as much). Ethan had no weapons or any overtly useful equipment at the beginning. Ethan had no info or briefing. And yea Ethan ends up grievously wounded, maimed, toyed with, chewed on and tortured over the course of the game. Hell, I’d say his only three reliable advantages all around are his you-know-what from the incident with Eveline, his drive to get his kid back, and of course the flashlight. Still manages to take down The major bosses and their underlings in the game. Chris gets some points for helping to take down the megamycete though. So there’s that.
@@9f81rsd00 Spoiler!! He's a mold but retains his human memories and kept the ability to heal instantaneously. Ethan already died during RE7 episode somewhere by the hands of the Baker family.
Oh so he USED to fly planes indeed then lol!! Cause I wondered -- where the hell did he learn how to fucking fly a jet in R6!? 🤣. This made absolutely zero sense to me! But now it does make more sense. Even though back in the 90s the Jets weren't as sophisticated as they are now BUT The Harriers already existed by that time so I supposed the Jet mission is still highly accurate lol.
Chris needs backup from his squad when he has full auto gun and lots of high tech weapons while Ethan only got crappy guns but he managed to beat all 4 Lords and Miranda....
This section really does put into perspective how Chris is a veteran when it comes to stuff like this. Whereas we were struggling and hurting something fierce as Ethan, Chris is just breezing through the village.
I think it's beacuse unlike every single other time they actually knew what they were fighting and we're prepared for it even did recon. Also this is blue umbrella the complete opposite of regular umbrella so there achualy competent.
now BSAA from SCPF/GOC to CI, while Grey Hound (Chris' Task Force) is basically what happened if CI is the good side, Blue Umbrella from Church of Broken God, to SCPF/GOC. what a twist heh?
Lmfao what's ironic is they blatantly stole quite a few elements from Modern Warfare 2019 (i.e. white phosphorous NVG's, tactical reloads, the airstrike laser & a few other aspects), which also makes this game feel like a bunch of airsoft LARPers

American soldiers in Vietnam would carry something to the tune of 4-600 rounds per man. Hell, even modern machine gunners sometimes end up carrying a thousand rounds of 7.62 nato (with each 100 linked rounds weighing 7.7 pounds)

Woah, this is exactly what I have been hoping for a zombie game. Playing as a military personnel doing military actions and coordinations against the zombies; truly wish for a whole game with this kind of gameplay.
....Play Killing Floor 2. Bunch of survivors, soldiers, and mercenaries hired by Horizine(who started the whole mess to begin with) are tasked of cleaning the areas from zeds. Zeds are basically "failed" bio weapons achieved by cloning and some are enhanced with their own technology. Smaller ones are the basic "zombies" that are trash with quirks(ex. Invisibility). Bigger one are akin to those of Heisenberg's creation, on steroids, some on fire and are always running.
@@johndexterzarate6663 Well, yes, I played KF2 a few years back, a quite entertaining game. However, since KF2 is a multiplayer based survival game, it lacks the element of us being part of the story progression; the element which single player can better provide. Like, we survive the waves, doing a couple of similar stuffs of each map and ends with boss fight, and that's it. I know that each map and each character have their background, and the event of one map has the consequence to the others, but like the most of the multiplayer based games, it lacks storytelling; don't really feel like being a part of the story as much as in the campaign of single player.

@@RedGrave927 Yes. Spencer was Miranda's student at one point. She taught him how to do Gene Editing, but they fell hard because Miranda wanted to save her daughter while Spencer wanted to change the human race.
Revelations 1 already dealt with the corruption in the BSAA. Bad Kojima writing from Capcom. Remember when RE6 brought Umbrella Corp back and it was terrible too? This series has run out of ideas.

This segment always feels like a reward for me. I mean after hours playing as Ethan and managing the resources to survive that even getting tens of rounds really feels helping (especially me who played this game in Hardcore difficulty where the enemies was tough and agile af), this segment where i can shot so much bullets without minding it feels so good.
@@aleksandarsavevski377 The gameplay is literally like call of duty in this part, also Resident Evil 8 probably has the worse story when you have been playing since the first.
as a gun guy and a gear hoarder this pleased me to see in the ending of the game. all the gear is correct and his team just badass. minus them actively wearing their NODs during the day in complete sunlight but it was still pretty baller nonetheless. A chad move. also their coats and them wearing flannel is what sold the look too. definitely will be picking up some extra gear and kit to cosplay them on my tiktok and instagram.
I had my 31s on my helmet when it would get close to dusk, but yeah mid day is just asking for serious neck pain or just having the safety break away on the Wilcox to snap when you accidentally get it caught on something.
This part of the game looks like that one mission from the CoD modern warfare 2(I think?) I believe the mission called night raid and this is where you suppose to find and rescue nikkolai

I love how when you play as Ethan, you're using cheap weapons and whatever you can find, but Chris' section shows how much of a breeze it would be with the right planning, equipment, and skill.
i feel like this mission fits perfectly. all game you are the one trying to survive. Here you are the one that’s doing the hunting and it almost makes you op. something that resident evil doesn’t do which is for good reason but still.
man that's sad I kinda want to see the BSAA soldiers. I wonder how Chris feel about his old BSAA members they really look up to him like finn if you guys remember him back on RE6
Originally they were gonna have a 3 way fight between Chris, the lycans and the BSAA. Sadly they didn't go with it. I think it would've nice to see. Same with development with his hound wolf team.

Watching this gameplay is so rough because he literally just stops shooting as the enemy is still up and coming at him along with he reloads after every 10 bullets and he never looks around or checks corners.
