I’ve seen a lot of hate surrounding Penny since her twist wasn’t too shocking and she got let off easy for her misdeeds, but I seriously think she’s misunderstood and I love her character. I’m so glad to see positive representation of her story and the voice is spot on. Great work Juno and Tex!

I like how you gave Cassiopeia a hint of Britishness to her voice. As the mastermind behind a team of outsiders, it fits that she would have an accent so far removed from the Spanish/Iberian-based Paldea Region. Spoiler talk: Now knowing that Penny came from Galar, I can imagine her actually playing up her accent for her antagonist act. Like Liquid Snake levels of over-the-top.

2:55 this part just feels so strong. "I can't help but feel like I'll lose it all as the stars fall" and then back to the best part of the song, it just hits different

This was really fun to listen to. I think it captures how Penny feels in this moment perfectly. I have my own small issues with the Team Star storyline but in general I really like these colourful high school drop outs and their leader who took "EV's are important" differently than intended.

Ah yes, the Cassiopeia battle. I was holding out hope that her ace was going to be a new Eeveelution that had been expertly hidden up until that point of the game. I really do like Penny, I wish her battle was tougher though. As my brother said “we’re not fighting her battle team, we’re fighting her PETS.”

The sad thing is; bullying is a real-life problem for students who were targeted. Penny is one of the best examples for students who decide to stand firm and fight those who bullied her and her friends. It is a noble act, but most, if not all, school authorities don't understand.

I was just thinking, Penny is a LOT similar to a old character we knew, who also got a cover song. Think about it; Prefer to spend time whit pokemon instead of humans, has trouble relating with people, is a nerd, incredibly smart and mature for her age, is the leader of an "evil" team, and is implied to have parental issues, does that sound familiar? Gladly she found the other Team Star Members and us, the player, helped her, or she would have turned out the exactly same way Cyrus did

I loved Cassiopeia/Penny’s Battle theme as soon as I heard it, so having a version with lyrics really is something brilliant. Tex’s vocal performance really shines through here. ❤

While the greater reference is to "Cassiopeia" the constellation, her tale is somewhat similar to "Cassiopeia", the character in Greek Mythology. After Queen Cassiopeia made a blasphemous claim that angered the sea god Poseidon, he sent the gargantuan monster Cetus to ravage her kingdom. At the instruction of a wise oracle, the Queen's daughter Andromeda was chained to a rock as a sacrifice to Cetus, supposedly the only thing that would make him leave. Thankfully, Andromeda's life was spared by the timely arrival of Perseus, who slayed the beast in exchange for her hand in marriage. But Poseidon still wanted Cassiopeia to pay, so she was placed in the sky and tied to a chair (the constellation Cassiopeia), sometimes clinging to the chair as it wheeled around the north celestial pole.

As an eevee fan I love seeing a big boss battle be purely Eeveelution’s but I know it’s probably one of the easier battles except for Vaporeon and Umbreon because of stats and all that

This version of Penny's fight feels more like Penny's inner monologue as she's throwing everything she has at the player, caring far more for her friends than what happens to herself when it's all over. For this reason, I like this take on the song better than MOTI's take in feeling accurate to who Penny is

Something about this song I like is that in the beginning the melody sounds disoriented but soon becomes organized, which reminds me of how Penny organized everyone into Team Star. I also like that Tex voices Penny with a Scottish accent (I think I got that right) since Penny’s home is in Galar. Incredible cover!

This was totally worth the wait! Penny's theme is such a banger, there's no real way this cover wouldn't have sounded awesome! I can't wait for Nemona and Arven's covers whenever you decide to make them!

Finally a cover from SV, and it's Penny's! I was slightly worried this would be a joke, considering the length and the thumbnail, but hey, two songs in one! I love how Sylveon's Terastalization syncs up with the lyrics referencing Penny's dialogue when doing so.

Just finished my playthrough of Violet. I'm probably in the minority that enjoyed the execution of Team Star and Penny as a character. Love how this turned out!

Pennys Battle Theme might be one of my favourites from Scarlet and Violet. Even thought I liked all Team Star Themes. And the best part is what happen afterwards. The decisions made by the pricipal are the best thing that could happen. I can't put names in, because I'm german and we have other names, Penny for example is called Cosima in Germany.
