@@LeKornorBros bro. Square Wave,Triangle wave, Noise And DPCM (Delta Pulse-code Modulation) is only a sound sampler.. I'm also learning making 8 bit music in famitracker for years. I played Sega Genesis games too i know what 16 bit sounds like..Real 8bit usually easily get distorted when the note played simultaneously.. This beepbox is not a real 8bit.. it's just fake 8bit. it's not even like a gameboy. the reason why i call it 16 bit is because it reminds me of the game soundtrack from "street of rage" and "sonic the hedgehog" from sega genesis because the instruments are very similar..I've been a fan of Sega games since childhood.. If you wanna make REAL 8bit music use famitracker and you will know what 8 bit is

@@LeKornorBros Yes i know DPCM is not an 8 bit..voice,drum,snare and any kind of sound can be in DPCM channel..when you use it too much it's not an 8bit anymore..why is it called 8 bit? Because it has limitations. Back in the day 8-bit music is music created by an 8-bit computer. Square, triangle,noise is the main elements in the music and DPCM is just an extra for special sound (non 8bit)

I understand what youre saying. Even so, the vast majority of the instruments in this song save for the drums are pulse waves layered over one another. It doesn't adhere to the hard limitations of 8 bit or 16 bit, but it falls closer to 8 bit given the instruments used and the fact that it doesn't sound anything like a ym2612 song imo.
