Battle Ropes are one of the best and often misunderstood tools in the gym. Traditionally used as just a get tired tool or a finisher, battle ropes have so many other benefits for both athletes and general population clients alike. From building a strong aerobic base, to increasing power and maximizing dynamic strength, the battle rope is a multi-use tool with many different applications; however, the entry to it has always been space. Traditional ropes are typically 40-50ft long and require 5-7ft of space to either side for multi directional movements. This limits a lot of athletes to only being able to use it in a warehouse setting or outdoors. This has always been a non negotiable as battle rope traditionally need to be anchored to be used. Well a new rope as entered the space, one that does not need to be anchored and allows more individuals to use a battle rope. That rope is the Hyper Wear Elite Battle Rope. Battle Roping with the Hyper Elite requires far less space and no anchor point. This is a huge benefit to allowing someone training with the rope to maximize conditioning attributes without needing the normal space to do it.
Interval training with the Hyper Elite is the best option, trying to maximize periods of time of up to 2:00 to get the most out of the anaerobic and aerobic energy systems. The beauty of this rope is that you don’t have to be stationary to do it, meaning you can add movement of the lower body around your room to turn this into a full body conditioning session, closer to what athletes experience in their sport. All individuals training should have a conditioning plan to go with their strength training. This is ideally done in separate sessions to maximize the results of each. 2-3 days of conditioning-based training along with a full body strength and conditioning program on alternating days is the best way to maximize training with the rope. Commonly, people tend to use battle ropes as just a finisher and think, “I feel tired so it must have worked.” Instead, use it on opposing days to increase your body’s ability to resist fatigue.
In terms of difficulty, the Hyper Elite shares many similarities with a traditional battle rope. The only real downside is the anatomy of the rope doesn’t allow for as many multidirectional movements and power output as a full sized battle ropes. It does allow for reactionary work and athlete specific movements such as back pedaling, lateral shuffling, squats, lunges and other assorted plyometric movements while moving the rope. The reactionary elements we see in sports, also known as agility, are difficult to recreate in a gym setting and the unpredictable movement of the rope lends itself to building those important athletic aspects. As with traditional battle rope, roping is highly adaptable to any and all levels of athletes and those with limitations. Grab the Hyperwear Elite and realize it will be adaptable to you for your entire fitness journey. The other beauty of this rope is it takes up less space in storage than a traditional battle rope. When space is at a premium, this is an important aspect in purchasing a battle rope. Overall, anyone looking to get into battle roping as a conditioning tool with limited space would benefit greatly from this elite battle rope.

What length is this rope? I pretty sure it can't be done with a 50 feet long one.
