Norfolk........Southern..........TSU....in that order....Nobody is outplaying Norfolk...They are clean in every area....Blowing is fantastic but it cannot beat balance and musicality in my humble opinion...

Nobody has it give NORFOLK thumbs up that band is on another level from the other bands I have set down and went back and listen to the clean musicianship that this band is has it blows your mind
I think Southern have a perfectly balanced band this year. Last year they were lacking mellos definitely and a few Tbones. But this year they are perfectly balanced. They're even more balanced than JSU. Since both bands are powerful and clean as a whistle. The determining factor for the Boombox classic will be on arrangements and song selection. I would love to see Southern at the Boombox Classic this yr, with the song and energy they had for the SWAC Championship, and i would like to see Jackson come with the energy they had for the Alabama State Battle.
@@iamearl90 Yea man.. same here. I hate when they have the other bands on the opposite end across from them a Mumford Stadium. That's the only reason i hated Southern home games.
@@naomiiii9503Anybody can be in their band. My coworker graduated from there and told me that!!! 🤣🤣🤣You can walk off the street, go to Tallahassee Community College, etc.... I actually knew a young guy who went to Tallahassee Community College and played in FAMU's band! 🤷🏾♀️

Norfolk at the National battle of the bands had 45 Trumpets 20 trombones 16 mellos 16Euphs 16 Tubas 12 pics 18 clarinets 26 saxophones Million Dollar had 14 snares 8 quints 11 BD’s 16 or 18 cymbals. I think Hot Ice was about 18 Silkettes were 8 and Spartan Guards 8 then Mr Spartan and Captain Soul
