@@AlmyTheAlien Fuzzies are actually terrible, potentially the most forgettable of enemies that Nintendo for some reason insists on using. Paper Mario truly brought them to life, in both their PM64 and TTYD mini-roles. Even more so that their TTYD appearance was so great that it got reused for Sticker Star, for STICKER STAR, as even in that game the artists wouldn't just degrade them into their terrible main-line Mario games artstyle.

Even though I personally think it's just as good as the original one, I have to admit that adding a more jazzy tone may not have been the right choice. I agree that it loses a little bit of its charm that way. However, I still think much of it and it's personality is still intact.

The remix is good but im on the side of "dont fix what isnt broken".

If this is the mentality a lot of ppl will have, then I feel this remake is in danger of having bad reviews from people that don't like minute changes. Because if that's the reason you don't like it, then I think that will extend way more than just the music. The point of a remix isn't always to make it a "better" version. Sometimes it's supposed to be a "different" version.

yeah i 100% agree. the remake music is good but the original is a lot better imo. that could just be due to my nostalgia.

The remake's OST loses out on the funk and the synths which I think takes so much character out of what made the original OST so iconic. The Superstar Saga remake has the exact same problem.

Yeah, I agree it doesn't make music automatically better, but I think it's better in this case. The instruments so much more bring out what the composition is trying to be. It sounds so tactical and urgent and bombastic and like 2 sides are coming together for an epic brawl, and I'm just having a good time listening to it.

I swear to GOD that I died while trying to do a petty task because the task was in an area FULL of enemies. For example, the fourth chapter where you have to get the old toad the cook book she wants

Alex Vazquez I recently purchased The Thousand Year Door, and it it truly spectacular. I haven’t beaten it yet, but it’s already one of my favorite Paper Mario games.

Dukemon they might be bad, but personally i enjoyed the game and had fun with it. i see other people’s points on why the newer titles are bad, but then they start hating people for playing a game they enjoyed. let’s just all get a game and have fun with it, and not hate eachother for liking a game.

Toads and other characters look pretty generic it doesn't look like the first 2 paper mario games

There’s no stickers, and you have a menu that lets you use hammers and jumps... they didn’t show any other moves and I haven’t seen any indication of flower points... but at the very least there’s no reason to run away from battles. Also while the allies on your adventure look more generic I’ll take anything over sticker stars army of toads. But there’s for sure a toad dressed up with exploration gear like an archeologist, a crowd watching each battle in stadium seats that you can make appeals to, and normal attacks and times. However normal jumps work like multi bounce attacks. Also apparently there was a Japanese trailer that shows the explorer toad next to Mario in battle buy that’s been removed for some reason... so partners in battle is unconfirmed but possible.

Hi-Ougi Demon fang I have a feeling they deleted that trailer to either confirm partners are coming back in a later video or it was a old video but considering both trailers are almost identical I’d say it can’t be an old video.
