Came here for Bomi and Eunji. Apink is always the best eater idol. They are so cute. Even Bomi gained some weight from eating on shows, she is still adorable and beautiful though.

The argument I'd make for Tteokboki is that. During the bread tour, the 2 had to carry around a basket with them, to enhance the taste and enjoyment of the bread. They also had to prepare the food before eating such as spreading butter etc. However, with the Tteokboki they ate it as it came, no changing it and no adding extra parts to enhance the flavour.

And oso, there are mainly Koreans in the audience. so they r used to tteokbokki which is Korean food. But if foreigners judge, I think tteokbokki will win since it not very common in their own native countries

Even if you didn't prepare the basket of condiments, bakeries like that usually give/sell butter, cheese, jams etc.

Didn't think of that lol. Still, I could eat bread all day every day since there's a large variety. Ugh, they should have gone to a Chinese bakery too. All the bakeries they saw were super fancy, but even a simple bakery beats ddeokbokki, because there is no limit to bread heheh Bread is really big in China too. I heard from an American expat (in China), on a youtube video that bakeries in China sell out very quickly in the afternoon / evening time since everyone is buying to have it for breakfast or lunch the next day. That's genius! They have sandwiches, cakes, bread with fillings, garlic & cheese breads, coconut breads... 🤤 yummm gotta restrain myself.

I would say that I like both the bread and the tteokboki tours but if I were to go on a trip like this, I would instead combine these tours together, picking 2-3 places from each tour to visit. I'm not a person with a sweet tooth so too many breads in a day may not work well for me. Once or twice a day is fine, but definitely not six times a day. Out of the 6 bbang jibs that they have shared with us, from the looks of it, I think my favourite was the Japanese bbang jib. I would LOVE to try the bread that has noodles on it! The melon bbang looks really delicious too. The Maybe I would go for the Japanese bbang jib together with the tiramisu place and the one other bbang shop. Whereas for tteokboki, the spicy taste adds on to your tastebuds and it somehow makes me hungrier than I am, which is a good thing. Also, I am not Korean and it's very difficult to look for a good tteokboki place here in Singapore, they are either too expensive or not authentically flavoured at all. The 1000won tteokboki is a big bonus as well. We can hardly find any food THAT cheap, most street foods in Korea cost 2000won and above T_T That being said, I think it would be good to have a mix of both bread and tteokboki in a day, like what hwijae had said :P

Tteokbeoki is often my most favorite dish Apink's Eunji & Bomi just ate so well, but ahh Chef Lee Wonil & Park Jiyun's "Good Bread Tour" had my mouth watering more than it needed to, and I rarely even eat bread. It was very difficult to watch this episode without having some sort of snack to not feel left out of all this delicious eats.

Personally for me the ttokbokki team should win coz I'm drooling like crazy looking at the footage compare to bread coz I can get it easily here. But I do understands why bread team win coz Korean has used to ttokbokki and when they see variety of bread it might caught their attention

Those people say they will try bread. Wait until they leave country and try to live independent for a year or two and realize how much you're craving for tteokpokki. I can find bread anywhere. Even though there are many varieties but unless for bread you like, you'll think twice to eat the same bread over and over. But even if I am not Korean, I keep craving for tteokpokki. I'll never get tired of tteokpokki.

I still don't get how such a broad category of "bread" was allowed for a SNACK tour. Apink chose a specific snack while the other team got to utilize an entire genre of food. It would have been much more fair if it had been, say, rice cakes vs bread.

I'm craving for tteokbokki right now. Lee Hwijae is right. You can find bread everywhere, but not tteokbokki. Of course you can find tteokbokki overseas, but not same as korean. Not the authentic one, the taste so different

If i have to choose one i will choose tteokbokki... Because everywhere you go you will get to eat bread.. There is a lot of different bakery in every country.. And its variety flavor.. But for tteokbokki only korea make a legit tteokbokki.. Yes now other country also make tteokbokki but korea is the original one..

Lol, cultural differences are everything. I guess there isn't a Portos or something similar in Korea? Portos has like half or more of the breads introduced. So many bread places here, I found that segment a bit lacking. I gotta go to Korea Town and look for Tteokbokki now.

Rice cake is bette than bread in my option but I do love bread that has like shiny glow on the outside idk why but it just tastes better and that has little sweet stuff in it❤️ but I really wanna try Korean rice cake❤️ The spicy one tho🔥 I've tried the sweet one and I like it but no that much
