Battlefield 1: Aim Guide - Improve your Aim! 

Hello.

Coming from Call of Duty, I've realized how bad my aim really is. Man this game makes you feel bad about yourself.

My problem is always just seeing people at longer ranges

My second target is usually A) 200m in unknown direction behind a rock B) behind me with SMG/Shotgun or C) in a Tank true story

when he said gun control I knew I was screwed cuz I'm American :(

Pro tip: Make sure you have fun :) , it is a game.

Kind of hard to aim at something you can't even see half the time, window campers, stairway campers, roof top campers, bad enough you have to contend with fog on some maps.

Coming from the PC and not playing a lot of MP games anyway, I am really struggling a bit when it comes to aiming. Although the biggest problem I have is that for some reason I am having a hard time firing from the hip in close encounters, I almost always try to aim down sights, which costs time and is not helpful anyway in this situation. But then again, I am playing exclusively as medic and I spend my days healing and reviving anyway. Just a couple of days ago I had a match with 3 or 4 kills, which happened when someone very careless was running right into me, but with 45 revives and 150+ heals. And for some reason, that felt just as satisfying as making lots of kills. :D

#1 Rule to get a better aim: Dont aim... play assault and youll get kills anyway

This game is proper mate. go into a game and don't think about gaining kills play the objective and you'll be jam tart. have fun while gaming.😆

Excellent advice. You have basically already articulated everything I was considering making videos on throughout you tips playlist. If I could add one thing that I don't think you have mentioned yet which has helped me a lot; Aim for the neck. If your aim is slightly off there is still a good chance of hitting the upper body shot within your cone of fire while not fully removing the chance of a head shot. Aiming soley for the headshot leaves much less room for error in the heat of the moment. Awesome vids man. I will be sharing these with my platoon. Subbed.

This is a well thought out and well put together instructional video. Thank you very much. I was great at previous battlefield games, but face tougher competition in the newer titles.

I have a tip: remember that increasing the zoom level greatly increased recoil. pick the one your best with, but try to stick to the same one so you can build up your muscle memory. also, it helps in some situations to stop while firing, crouching helps too, and is faster than going prone.

I relate a lot to when he says just "Do it." Then it becomes natural. It's because in those long marathons, It's easy to get wrapped up in the fight, the aim starts to become narrow, causing lack of focus. I just tell myself to just get the crosshairs on them. Going for a headshot is too much work. You can get more shots on target if you are precise and have good grouping. Just put the gun in line with your target and just "Do it."

for better aiming for scout. put cross hair on enemy but the top hasmark on head and the right and left hasmark on shoulders headshot and quick scope kill every time. this method brought me up 20 ranks really quick

No kidding, your tutorials have improved my overall performance on all styles of play. Im an Ex-COD player. The pace, and skillsets to master are vastly different and coping with the change alone was tedious but your videos have helped me focus on what what to do, and what to avoid doing. wanna aim better on console? turn off your aim assist and your slowdown for a few hours of play. when you turn it on your aim will be dramatically better. you will realize you don't have to compensate for recoil as much as you think. and your able to snap on targets much faster. I lost all my sensitivity stats I had on bf4 so I'm not sure if it's a little faster because I played COD for a while but it helped a lot to do turn it off and on

I like your guides. Thus one actually helped some. I did notice that when I was sniping that if I took more than 1-2 seconds for a shot period I was gonna miss. I've made some amazing head shots just going for it. Thanks for this. Ima practice some more.

Bf1 has so many blind spots, my kd ratio (that not matters) is always 1/0, 2/1, 3/2 etc, most of time it's just constant blind spots, with people shooting out of nowhere and it's particularly difficult to spot them on an intensive gaming map

The secret to aim is: Free your mind

I used ADS and put small piece of clear tape on the screen and mark it with a small cross-hair. This helped in games where there was no cross-hair.

Always have an understanding of the map you are playing, I have noticed most players have a ritual or a plan in place to move around the map, be smart and try to cut them off.

BF1 aiming guide...do what the other 90% of all BF1 players do and completely ignore every gun in the game but sniper rifles and DMRs, find the nearest rooftop or hill to hide on, and be as useless to your team as possible by just staring through your sniper scope taking pot shots at everyone on the map who is actually trying take flags and win the match. That's the text book definition of a typical BF1 player and what every BF1 match is like. Do not, and I mean DO NOT, grab an actual gun and go try and cap a flag. That type of gameplay is for scrubs.

great tips! the best being not to overthink it. if you lose a head to head don't let it bother you anymore than the time it takes to respawn. once you're back in the fight, just remember what you might have done better and keep fighting your best. I've seen amazing players get demolished by noobs because they made it too personal and let their anger blind them to the point of distraction, plus nobody in your party wants to hear you go on about some BS anyway.

A nice video, with some very good advice. I have come to BF1 from Destiny, and whilst the games are different, the skills required are similar. The point that you have made about confidence is a very good one. Having confidence in your own abilities with weapons will make you, or break you as a soldier. Confidence comes from understanding the capabilities of the weapon that you are using. When you first use that weapon, situations will unfold before you, and they will happen so fast, that at first they may deter you. However, as you start to master your weapon, and its capabilities, putting it in the right situations, you will see that time starts to slow down. Soon, you will find moments, even in the most intense situations, that you never knew existed. It is these moments that confidence gives you the opportunity to exploit. Choose your weapon (based on feeling and not a video), and stick with it through thick and thin, the good times and the bad. As your confidence grows, it will become your trusted companion.

thanks for the video. this has been the most useful advice ive got from any one on this game. I'm not bad but I play on PS4 with controller. I grew up playing mouse and keyboard but cant now. and I always was saying about this game if I could set my hip fire sensitivity up then set up my ads sensitivity that would b game changing for me with a controller. now that you explained the soldier zoom sensitivity I can!!!!! Thanks again.

You have a sub. I have been trying to practice following and snapping to friendlies when no enemies are around for thumb practice. I have a tendency to panic and go all over the place as well as spam the trigger when confronting enemies. Going to try out those sensitivity suggestions too.

The only gun control I support. A steady aim and smooth trigger pull.

It gets intense when you have to perfectly time bolt action reloads during fire fights. You may not always have time to gaze, you could be in a situation where you have to have the magic eye to fire within fractions of a second, especially on hardcore.
