@Cpt exe in terms of historical accuracy and gun mechanics and maybe also the community, bf1 and 5 have the same details the devs actually worked hard on both games
I don’t know why but the transition from the low, punchy sound of the Ribeyrolls to the higher pitched Annihilator and then back to the Hellriegel is really funny to me
fun fact (for those who actually did look what lies behind the scenes): all pistols uses the same sound effect. it just is edited on the fly by the game itself.
One thing about BF since I think 1 in particular is that they put a lot of effort into the acoustics of shooting a gun so often you'll get a massive variety of sounds during the game because of how sound travels in different places.
I hated the vetterli vitali for so long because i thought the bolt got stuck so much and my friends never believed me and said it was soo good but you can see it getting stuck on the 2nd round!!!! Im not insane!
