Battlefield 1 still has a HUGE player base, and that's a testament to how fun it is. I'm discovering new gameplay so many years later. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
This is the most cinematic, atmospheric, and polished BF game to date imo. I switched from console to PC about a month ago and this is the only BF I have on my PC. In terms of gaming experience, this one takes the cake for me. Thanks for the 1K y'all!
Game had major glitches during launch and everyone was mad about how it wasn't as historic accurate with the guns and such. Maps where smaller. Time to kill was smaller. Pretty much people who jumped from BF4 to this where very alienated by the way the game played and felt.
I wasn't a fan when they first announced it. Never had a way to play it till a year ago. Watching Jack made me get a console and play it. From 4, 1, and V 1s my new favorite
What makes it so much better is the maps are based on real war maps of the locations the dock map has the boats in their proper places and the machine-gun nests and even sand bags are even the same as the real battle maps from the great war
Getting back into it after not having played for a few months is always amazing. It's overwhelming to see how immersive, detailed and well designed this game is. I wish the next Battlefield would capture Bf1's atmosphere with Bf4's content and gameplay!
I think really only a WW1 game is capable of this kind of atmosphere. Just something about completely destroyed landscapes that have only really been seen in that war. WW2 had a few battles that looked that way but only in longer lasting battles. The environments looked desolate in WW1 because they were fighting over basically the same ground for all 4 years.
BF1 was one of the last games I felt the devs put effort and love into. Everything is super polished, feels great, awesome weapon variety, amazing atmosphere. The last great battlefield imo
Unfortuantely also after the horrible Battlefield Hardline, it made me mostly skip BF1 initially until a year or two after, still one game i regret skipping at the start.
I legit only just started playing BF1 this week. It's incredible. The immersion, the gun play is solid, the attention to detail, the sound track, the love that obviously went into it is apparent. I wonder if any of the team at Dice played BF1 or BFV because they are both infinitely better and more fun that 2042, and they were made like 5/6 years beforehand.
@@couchwilly5575 yes ... and with bf5 the decline was obvious. ok the gameplay was nice but the female soldiers, fortnite style skins ... it was obvious to be a downward spiral from there
No COD or any other MP shooter can emulate these epic battles in BF1.. also fun fact about Hellriegel: this was a prototype weapon developed by Austro-Hungarian empire, none was produced due to a mechanical issues with the magazine and stability, but nevertheless DICE added this thing to a game as an unlockable
This game has the beauty, emotion, attention to detail, and gritty environment that just hits right. Sometimes its difficult to put into words why a game just feels “right” but with BF1, to me, its all about the amazing detail in environment and why it looks and feels cleaner and more polished than more recent Battlefields. Theres just so much care and detail put into the scenery of BF1, when you jump from another game, you really notice the grittiness and amazing sound design immediately that just isnt there in the other additions since.
I used to play this game a ton on console back in 2018-2019. I miss this game so much. It brings me genuine joy knowing this game is still alive and well
You just like me fr..every so often I go back to this game and have the best time and get invested in the atmosphere. It's great seeing you enjoy it just as much.
i never really played this game while it was out and never really realized how fun it was, coming back to it recently i really love this game and is one of my favorite bf games
Started playing this again a few months ago and got hooked again. Love the game. Will always watch BF1 videos you post. This was the last battlefield game I had any interest in. Played the BFV beta and hated the gun sounds and animations and so never got into it. And then 2042 got panned at launc and seemed ridiculous in a lot of ways so didn't even bother with that either.
Someone said it yesterday in the comments that this game has the best sounds when you get kills etc and I couldn't agree more. It's so satisfying hearing that ping.
i’ve been thinking about moving from playstation to pc. and if I do so, BF1 is gonna be the first game I buy. Can’t wait to see it at Ultra settings at high resolutions/fps
this is by far my favorite battlefield...grinded the hell out of it on xbox and then gave it another go on pc about two years ago and I still love it to this day!
@@someguyontheinternet9305 i wouldnt trust any game that Dice is going to make in the future they need to proof that they know how to make good games again
I really wish there were more NA BF1 servers, it’s hard to find an open server sometimes. I have to play overseas now and then purely because so many people are playing but there isn’t nearly enough servers for them all
I bought the game again for the third time and thought that the servers will be empty but to my surprise theres so much full servers and many players. This game never died (best time to play is Friday because theres more servers) also you will meet lots of hackers
It's definitely one of the best games in the series. The atmosphere is great, the gameplay good for the most part. But there's one thing I just hate about BF. Bf3: Get Attack Helicoptered Bf4: Get Rubber Barreled Bf1: Get Artillery Trucked and Mortared BfV: Get Tanked Bf 2042: Get bored
