I find it interesting you chose the revolving rifle in BF1... In Far Cry 6, the same model is a vicious monster that will eat anything smaller than a cargo truck.
0:22 Seriously with that reload animation?! Firstly, that's an emergency reload, not a tactical reload, and performing "e" reloads in place of "t" reloads is a very "today" phenomenoid. Plus, it only occurs in the realm of fiction. It's called an "emergency" reload for a reason, and it would typically be done on an empty mag IRL. Any mag that has to be ditched, IRL, can be scrounged back up after the battle (something we never see in vidya games). Secondly, it's impossible to do THAT style of emergency reload with a bullpup. I really don't understand why animators feel the need to insult us like this. 1:29 The Groza-1 and the Groza-4 can be set up in the same variety of configurations IRL. The difference is the caliber. The "1" is chambered for 7.62x39mm, whereas the "4" is chambered for 9x39mm which is subsonic (and therefore at its best when used with a suppressor). There was going be a Groza-2 in 5.45x39mm and a Groza-3 in 5.56x45mm, but those never went into production (in our timeline, that is). 6:17 Sight picture's not bad for a top-fed. The reason so many guns of that type from that era were top-fed or side-fed is because it makes them easier to load from the prone position. They can be fired from a standing position, but from prone is where they shine. What makes the Madsen unique among top-feds is that the mag well is offset, allowing the sights to be centered. Most top-feeders are the opposite (mag well centered, sights offset to the left). 6:39 It's still in use in some parts of the world. 7:38 That's what it's made fer. 7:44 Remarkable Czechnology!
I don’t know what it is but I think the Madison machine gun slaps, especially on operation underground. When operation underground first came out and I got the Madison I was mowing down everyone. Kinda weird. Feels bad hearing T-bag sh*t on it like this.
the madsen in bf1 (pc) is actually really good. with aim assist, you might not notice it as much, but it has low recoil and high accuracy. you can laser beam people down with it. they made it OP to compensate for the rediculous magazine. what a shame it's so bad in bf5
2:41 The Pieper revolver carbine is a forgotten weapon for a reason--it may be light and handy, but the cartridge it fires is 8mm Pieper and it uses the same gas system as the 1895 Nagant revolvers. One source says the cartridge was loaded by Remington at 106 grains at 1100 FPS, so not too awful for a pistol rounds, but not too great in a carbine, especially not compared to the kinds of Winchester rifles that would have been common in the Mexican rural areas where the only users--Mexican Rural Police--would have operated. Much less any of the machine guns and proto-assault rifles floating around in Battlefield's alternate WW1.
The Madsen is actually king in mid range! Do use it more! Little recoil lets you laser beam people, 40 bullets lets you take out an enemy even if you only spot a foot at medium-long distance, and it lets you take out 2-3 guys with good visibility. Do use the 3x scope though, it hides the huge mag from your field of vision. And oh, you can kill anything with five bullets maximum at long distance, all other LMGs take six bullets to do the trick. It is my go to LMG.
yeah, I don't play BF much but I saw the recoil on that gun even with the scope and instantly thought it would be great for long sightlines. It's not meant to get right up close and shred people, it's meant to lock down an open area from a vantage point.
Despite what you say they still did this gun so dirty this could have really been used as a light machine gun considering it’s ammo capacity and actual weight since it weighed about the same as a BAR and the caliber being roughly the same size (the Madsen used 8x58mmr Danish Krag and the Bar used 7.62x63)
Well, the Groza is different. Base on the AK variant but in the bullpup way. Two versions in BF4, the Groza-1 had a foregrip and only used 7.62x39mm M43, while the Groza-4 with the suppressor is in 9x39mm Subsonic.
@@jblazerndrowzy bullet velocity doesnt matter when target is stationary. At that point it's just raw DPS. They tried to have ranged damage drop off but people hated it. So this is what they were left with it
@@the47thsoldier67 that "trash bullet deviation" is one of the biggest reasons why BF1 is such a well balanced game. I suggest watching Enders deep dive into the differences between the gunplay of BF1 and BFV and why BF1 is superior.
@@Ashar121 What do you mean by “they tried to have ranged damage drop off”? Every gun has ranged damage drop off, with SMGs starting off at ~25 damage dropping to 12 damage. The Madsen meanwhile drops to 18 damage which, in BFV at least, is quite hard hitting compared to pretty much every other automatic weapon that isn’t the Chauchat or the Breda. SMGs have horrible damage beyond ~20 meters and typically get outgunned beyond that point. How TBAG didn’t rip apart that Medic using the ZK, an SMG that has horrible damage output without light bolt, is a wonder. EDIT: What I can say is that there’s definitely ranged superiority in BFV, it’s just not as immediately noticeable as previous BFs. If it were raw DPS, the Madsen would’ve won instead of it being a draw. TBAG clearly missed several shots while the Medic hit just about every single one, so the fact that it still ended in a draw should say something.
Ja, it's one of my main guns, if only because I have terrible recoil control. I actually win almost all encounters with it if I spot the enemy before he spots me. Plus, the 40 round mag lets you laserbeam and can potentially take out multiple enemies.
When I started playing bfv recently I started using weapons that I never used before, one of them being the madsen mg, at first I found it weird but after a few minutes I was outgunning everyone, including zk's and mp40's, it is a very fun gun to use really
Been thinking about this a lot. I hate the fact that there was 1 VA with the same voice lines (minus a few class specific lines) regardless of which class you chose. The Bad Company series of games made things feel different since each class had a different VA with different lines for the same action.
@@n8zog584 for the teammates yes. Tons of different VA but not for the classes you play as. Not sure about BF3 as I haven't played MP but its pretty evident in BF4, 1 and V
Most the guns you used are actually viable in their games, pieper being the only ass one here. Both groza are used for different situations and is really good in general. Madsen is a king at medium range for small groups. Due to the Vcar attatchments its fairly good for both QCB and long range engagements but not medium, also the best semi-auto of the current 3.
The Madsen is an interesting gun, it has lower damage than most of the other lmgs but it has better damage falloff and even without the bipod it is one of the most controllable at long range do to low and consistent recoil patterns. You can only really be competitive with it at medium to long range.
1:58 That’s the case because of sub-sonic ammo. Sub-sonic ammunition is where the bullet goes below the speed of sound. With sub-sonic ammo, you can use suppressors perfectly. Without that ammo, suppressors wouldn’t work except at long distances.
Youre only half right. Only black powder revolver carbines were prone to this which had to reloaded by hand. The carbine in BF1 uses a cartridge which is pretty safe.
@@I_AM_VERRUCKT that being said gas can also escape from the chamber gap (not in the case of the Pieper though, it uses the same gas seal system as the Nagant revolver), which can get pretty annoying and you'll probably burn yourself after a while
If you think about it, no gun is entirely useless, the term useless is based on personal preference this term can be used if one’s playstyle does not fit the characteristics of a certain weapon
I actually managed to take a plane out with the pieper once in BF1, bailed from my plane as it was nearly dead and fired off some shots into the enemy plane chasing me to finish it off.
Dude I’ve actually used the groza quite proficiently. In many situations ranging from close to mid-farish range. Nothing as good as the SG553 but still decent
The funniest part about the gun in bf2042 is that irl its .22 Magnum which makes it strange that any military would use it in combat due to its lack of armor penetration and its pickyness with ammo.
I have one thing to say about madison though, it has one of the best damage drop value in machine gun class. Plus the relatively controllable recoil and HV bullet at level 4making it a really good camp weapon. Also i know the menu stats in 2042 is broken RN but VCHR have almost identical stat to mp28... Which is a secondary...
You are the only gaming youtuber that i still watch at 17 years old. I just wanna thank you for all the times you made my day better whenever i was bored. You are one of the last existing gaming youtubers in 2022 that are still really fun to watch
Dude same here, I'm turning 17 in 5 months time and I still watch this guy. I've outgrown most gaming youtubers that I watched but TBag is the only gaming youtuber I'd still come back and watch. His content is just so entertaining
Battlefield 1 had so many useless guns... It's a shame because they could've just buff some of these weapons and we would have a lot more variety in which guns to play
HV-Car is based on a Kel-Tec Pistol Caliber Carbine meant for Civilian Market, Currently Chambered in .22 Long Rifle (Pistol Cartridge), which is By Military standards is WEAK, but I guess in Bf2042 they rechambered it to FN 5.7×28mm
Some guns requires special play style, i.e. RSC SMG or Pieper M1893 (BF1). Like all weapons, each one does have its own Pros/Cons which comparing to other weapons might change even more (especially when you compare weapons from different classes/types). That's something that not everyone really think about it when they pick up guns. For example, I like to use the Parabellum MG14/17 (BF1) because of the high rate of fire (which can suck with accuracy (cons) but can stop the entire squad or two from pushing at you (pros) at close-mid ranges). TBH I don't see too often people using it (people more likely use either MG15 nA or broken M1917 MG because of better recoil control/accuracy and med-long range effiency). Basically when one weapon is outstanding far behind, the other shines there. It's still most likely all about the skills, not being as cheap as you can be with the most well balanced weapons.
Most of the guns you chose are better as more passive guns. They aren't supposed to be used to rush other players, especially the Pieper 1893 and the Madsen MG.
Do starter weapons for each class on each battlefield game. Example: Assault: AK-12 / AN-94 (Groza can be considered starter since its unlocked right away).
Opposite of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. The Groza (specifically, the Groza-4, 9x39mm over 40mm, in OTs-14-4A-04 configuration) was always considered a high-tier weapon.
Always liked the historical weaponry in these games. In true weapon history, the Chauchat has always been considered one of the worst guns ever made. Unreliable, jammed and just overall poor design. Never played well with it in these games
For WW1 the Chauchat was fine as it is. Has many flaws but that's expected for a weapon that has to be produced asap and in the end it did the job fine enough. It's really just the American 30-06 Chauchat that is unbelievably trash.
1:36 WWIII be like: “But this one have a permanently fixed suppre-“ **dude screaming by suffer of war and freaking dies in front of him** “Oh well, he’s dead! ANYWAYS....”🤣
Tbag can you please give some aiming tips for battlefield 1 on console since, I am getting railed on in the game by the SMG 08/18 and M1917 MG telescopic spammers, plus please tell how did you develop such good recoil control and accuracy on console, cause I am struggling (came bact to console gaming after 5 years, last played on a PS3) and please play on Asian servers if you really want a challenge...thanks
Me having only Bf 1 and BF 5, well nice play 4:30 with that sentry kit, mostly i will get killed in 00,5 seconds after i put it on, because of muromets, or some rambo flankers that are around to just backstab you, but you made nice killstreak respect that , 7:40 me who read about Zk 383 - that it was smg called Machine gun pistol, because it could play a role of actual light machine gun, very precise, 30 rounds in magazine and bipod, while still shooting pistol bullets, and i think that it had good balistics tests even on 200 meters soo on smg great, while expensive in real life, here it seems to overpowered over your Madsen(which is old design of lmg during WW2) :D But hey great plays have some hope for these games again to play them, you always makes me smile over your video, Stay awesome in continuing making more videos men.
Woah….a lvl 1 gun sucks? Woah never knew that? Have you ever tried to using it and getting better attachments? No? Yeah I too complain about guns that I never use.
I wouldn't call me Madsen useless. Its most consistent weapon in damage in the game. Very accurate and good at range, especially with the 40 round mag, bipod and scope
Battlefield stil my fav military shooter and Bf3 and Bf4 looked so good I had so much fun playing these and it took awhile to level up making you play it more for longer and Physics was pretty good to
Groza 1 is really good. I unlocked all possible attachments for it, and I really like Emblem placements, which made me use Groza in general. Groza 4 on the other hand... Not a big fan.
Fun fact: the VCAR irl, the Kel-Tec CMR-30 is as useless as it is in the game since it fires .22 WMR rounds, in which they are not recommended for combat use.
funny tidbit about that Madsen gun... "Who would ever use this thing..." Brazil. matter of fact, Brazil STILL USES THEM TODAY. it's the standard armament of their Military Police.
The Pieper Revolver Carbine, in my opinion (not like it matters) is actually a really good gun especially when on defence, since support can also have it, it turns the support from a same spot multiple kills, to an actual supportive role that can push with their team and help them in more ways then just kills, instead of just watching the flank for nothing to happen and tankers that can't have a good primary (the default guns just don't really work with it) the Carbine can actually help u escape with ur life as u now have a decent primary instead of a trash secondary, and with the Carbine now the old tank guy can advance with his team instead of just reseting. I give the Carbine a 9/10, I would give it a 10/10 is classes like medic could use it
TBAG I think my favorite thing about these videos is how you seem dominate with some these guns in gameplay and still follow up with “So yeah this gun is just horrible.” Like you could travel to Olympus with a Kolibri, kill every god with it and say “See this gun is so bad. Point made.”
