Mondragon and 1916 lovers, ease up the hate. Both rifles have their place. If I'm going more aggressive, there's no doubt the Mondragon high fire rate gives it an edge as long as you're smart about it's clip size. But there's also no doubt that the 1916's ability to down 8-10 people before reloading is fucking amazing (just requires smarter positioning). Medics need to get along cause we're a dying breed lol
Not taking sides here (I love both weapons equally) but one thing you forgot to mention is that the Mondragon (Sniper Variant) compared to the Marksman variant, has slightly less recoil kick to the left and right. And yes, we need to start recruiting for medics lol
To for right! We are a dying breed! Check BF5! I asked while playing BF1 to rate the medical care in the games. 7/10 in BF1 and 5/10 in BF5 ( I think, BF5 had a painfully lover number). Can't say I disagree watching BF5 gameplays.
Ah. This is my favorite Medic Rifle. I use the Marksmen Varient with the lowest magnifaction setting to still keep close range ads as an option. For whatever reason, hipfire at point blank doesn't feel too bad as a last ditch effort.
Tiffy Isa me too and the problem is that Premium players lvl 60-110 are likely to rush up to you with RSC 1917 or M1907 sweeper often accompanied by Lebel 1886 Sjögren Inertial Chauchat Hellrigel or Ribreyolles 1918 assault rifle
Tiffy Isa but should you use it right now? The Autoloading is better to Short-Mid ranges (biggest DPS in Medic Class) and the Selbstlader 1906 is the best in Mid-Long ranges (the best on Counter-Sniping and it's free). The M1916 is objectively worse in my eyes
@@chrislaurent1137 I prefer to do it for xp I really have better luck than most as I tend to have people wait for me to revive them one battle a person was able to redeploy without waiting a few second but he stayed dead as he saw me making my way toward him even though the white circle was completely gone probably knowing that I was going to revive him
As a Scout (who recently switched to Medic after reaching class rank 50), I have to say, the Marksman variant is amazing to use. The first time I tried it, I was thrown off by the recoil, but soon figured out the "right" fire- rate to keep the weapon stable (about 1 tap every 0.5 seconds), and I fell in love. This is all thanks to your video as well, so cheers :)
Do you ever really use the whole 26 rounds ever? The Mondragon has a better RoF for the same damage and the same accuracy. The selbstlader 1916 also has the worse time to kill of all medic guns making it an awful weapon for 1v1 face to face battles.
The Selbstlader has proved a very effective gun for me in close and medium ranges. Usually if I get the first shot on the enemy, they’re doomed unless they have a shotgun. I also have moved to an aggressive play style sometimes, sometimes winning 5v1s if i have some slight cover. Also, i’m not the best, i’m a pretty bad player lol.
I recently made this gun my favorite medic weapon. I actually find it handy in close quarters. The clip also helps in wiping out squads. People complain about the time to kill but as long as you don't miss, you can outgun all the noobs who try to run and gun.
It's a great gun, optical version... once you learn to lead your shots at medium to long range and how to handle the recoil then I think it's by far the best medic weapon! In close quarters with such a big mag you can afford spam fire abit
I don't care if this gun is claimed to be for bad players. It still has the best ammo capacity and it feels like the best all around medic rifle too. I just use the factory version, rifle fired grenades, the C96 pistol, and frag grenades. Then there's a good grenadier class for getting people out of cover and windows.
@KriticalKris "Corps" is from french, and is pronounced like "core", not like "corpse". Not trying to be rude or a grammar nazi, just throwing it out there.
the marksman variant shouldve been the Medic class 10 weapon, i'm sick of seeing every medic playing as a scout and healing themselves instead of reviving teammates.
Imo this the Marksman variant is the best gun the mecic class has. Together with the m1911 you can kill practically everything at every range. Its super versitile. I love it. And it has a huge Magazine.
Video was great but audio was killing my ears/speakers though. Duno if your bass or reverb was turned up high or you were really close up to the mic or what. Just an fyi from a fan. Love the content mate, keep killing it.
The Selbstlader M1916, a semi-automatic rifle used by the German army during World War I, has been nicknamed "Kogasa's Buzzsaw." This nickname is derived from its high rate of fire and association with the character Kogasa Tatara from the Touhou Project series, who wields an umbrella that spins like a buzzsaw. The nickname likely comes from a combination of the rifle's characteristics and fans' creativity within the Touhou community.
I live the mag capacity and optic variant / sniper variant of this gun but the rof is just not high enough to get the edge on someone that's using something like the mondragon. If Dice would just bump the rof a little bit then this gun would be awesome.
The best variant is the optical as its great for both medium and close range and does it better than the marksman in my opinion, and even though the marksman variant can do long range, you will only rarely get a kill from long range sniping
I have 10 stars with the optical, but after using it so much i switched to the marksman, and it works fine using it with 2.50 magnification on .50 more than what i use on the optical which is not much, therefore works fine close quarters, medium and halfway to long range.
What I like more on the marksman variant is that, it gives you a much clearer picture of the enemy ( just my opinion) and the long range option really gives you an advantage, cause sometimes the enemy is pretty far away and shooting at you, the optical can't shoot that far without missing alot of shots or waiting between shots to get more accuracy, but with the marksman it won't be a problem. But that just my experiences with both.
Mondragon is a better ranged fighter then the Selbslader 1916, but the reload times are what kills the mondragon. Pick your poison, better overall weapon vs better reload/magazine size, but a little bit less effective/accurate.
The Marksman variant is By Far THE BEST version of this gun it's not even a contest once you learn how to control the recoil this gun is AWESOME With the Marksman scope the gun isn't very good up close to begin with and you're better off hip firing Then aiming down sites at close range. Controlled taps at Medium range is this Guns bread and butter and the Marksman's scope is like peanut butter to the guns chocolate definitely the best version and along with that generous 26 round magazine its the best gun in the Medic Class to this very day
Good rundown on the Selbstlader M1916 rifle and for me I usually encounter experienced players with the Marksman variant who would camp objectives alongside scouts in maps like ballroom blitz Monte Grappa or new players with factory variants on Argonne Forrest, Amiens, Fao Fortress & Empire's Edge with them being back by assault class using automatico 1918 MP18 or other scouts. Not sure if this rifle is better than the Cei Rigotti select fire for a medic class when firing from short to medium range or with the optical Cei Rigotti medium to long range Cheers from the United States
Roger Medeiros Because it has a faster fire rate, less recoil, and faster muzzle velocity than the 1916. The 1906 can dominate any single target at almost any range, save very close, (100m) If you pick your fights, stay at medium range, and stay aware of your surroundings, the 1906 is the best at what is designed to do. I have even counter-sniped quite a few cocky scouts with it, because they think they automatically have the advantage at longer ranges. Tap.. tap.. tap, they're dead.
Giovanni San José I have 3 service stars with it. I can't wait for the RSC M1917 though, 164 rpm, 2 shot out to 45 meters, and 6 round mags? Sounds like a new god gun. That's a faster TTK than every medic rifle except the Autoloading 8 .35 Factory and Marksman, and those are only 5 shot mags, with 3 to kill. Second fastest TTK, 3 kills per mag? I guarantee people are going to bitch about it.
Austin Brant ye, it's great for taking on mobs of unaware players, and flametroopers at medium range. I had a flametrooper try and light me up, I was maybe 3 meters past his flames, backpedaling the whole time, shooting him with the 1916 factory. A reload would have killed me, glad I was using it.
the only downside to this weapon is the firing rate... i have over 5k kills with this gun with the marksman varient and the kills i get at a distance more than makes up for the firing rate
So, what's your preference out of the Sebatlader factory and Mondragon Storm? I personally like them both but feel I am more accurate with the mondragon as I get caught short with the seb a lot of times.
To be honest, I use no skins, collect no puzzle pieces, only use squad boosts. This is the only gun I use, no optics. I don't understand how someone can get bored of this game when I literally use nothing different every game.
This game could have been cool if they'd heeded the lessons of day of defeat, ignored the CoD kids, and included the tension, teamwork, and more interesting pace of a game with faction-specific weapons, and mostly bolt-action rifles. People sneer at this, ignoring how fun it made BritishvGerman games of day of defeat. This Rambo shit is gross, and a huge waste of a brilliant graphics engine on a game that's identical to every other rambo-ish arcade shooter instead of the epic it could've been.
