Don't force it ( sprinting at the enemy with the paddles or trying to make every kill a shock paddle kill ), anyone you think you can melee kill is an obvious choice to paddle instead, desync in this game is just as bad as it was in previous Battlefield games so use the speed you can get in this game to out maneuver Dozer player's that rely too much on the shield.

Also, from experience, spamming smokes generally works 85% of the time, If you're smart with smokes that is. If you spot an enemy first get into cover, throw a smoke down next to you, throw an ammo box, and throw the smoke towards the general area where you saw them. Now, just simply stay in the smoke and ninja your way towards them. Basically what I am saying is that smoke grenades is your best friend. Additionally, the range of the defib is really deceving, you can defib a guy thats 3 meters away from you. I've racked up 2.5k with this method

Overkill is underrated.

I think Falck creates bad habits, the syrette pistol is like the small med bags from BF4, BF1, BFV that a lot of players got used to using frequently in fights, like that beginner habit of reloading way too often it makes players sloppy and it's not really a normal thing if we are looking back at all Battlefield games ( speaking on the subject of small med bags ). Most of the time I'd classify that kind of game mechanic as a crutch since you don't often see those types of players playing any other class unless it has something similar ( Assault class with med-pen ). Angel gives ammo which I go through a lot, his supply crate allows squadmates to full resupply explosives which is important in a game with so many damn OP vehicles, the supply create also acts as a blocker for line of sight and temporary cover.

@@Ravicwhat are your thoughts on spotting only showing dots on the minimap and not a visual marker ? I think because battlefield can be pure chaos it needs some sort of quick and easy identification mechanic

@@Thewoodsman894 Minimap or 2D spotting is a pretty standard method or normal for Battlefield games. It would be great if they focused more on that than 3D markers but like with BFV DICE created their own identification issues, this time though it's mainly because of Specialists and all having the same skins available for both US and RU. They gave the Specialists those green and red glow lights on their front and back but often times in the chaos your health is low so the red vignette bloody screen affect that also pulls away the colors makes it hard to identify or clearly see those red/green lights. Personally I think the bigger problem comes down to not being able to quickly see and identify a friendly in 3D space, their icons are faint and small just like enemy icons so you end up doing double takes sometimes thinking a friend is a foe.

@@Ravic yeah that point about identifying a friendly is HUGGEE one of the biggest annoyances but I think have kind got used to it now, I’m kinda scared for the next release because they will go one of two ways in my eyes , they will either totally get rid of all skin customisation ( which I doubt because $$$) or they will make skins that are bound to each country , so Russia medics have a different style/scheme to us medics. I think bf1 was perfect for identifying players but i suppose it is very hard to replicate because bf2042 is modern so equipment and clothing is near enough the same but they still should have made each faction have select colour schemes as a minimum

@@Thewoodsman894BF1 had classes and factions so it was easier to tell teammates from enemies visually. BFV was a version of what you describe with skin customization and $$$ skins that blurred that kind of stuff even with classes and factions like BF1. So if they continue with that and go back to classes/factions it's likely we'd still have some issues regarding that if they have the same kind of mix and match customization that is in BFV/BF2042. We'd have to go back to BF1, BF4, or BF3 limitations to skin customization for it to be easier or more clear to identify what team a player is on.

BF2042 graphics are pretty good in some ways, vegetation and ground textures are far more complex and diverse than compared to 2012's Battlefield so BF3. BF3 had a ridiculous "art direction" filter to make everything appear like a Hollywood movie, it didn't make the textures or graphics better it just made it harder to see things, like really simple and basic textures. The big negative graphical-wise in BF2042 would be forced TAA but that was something done in BFV as well so not like it's BF2042's fault.
