Battlefield 2042 is hilarious at the moment, lots of new players and mad stuff happening. Starting to feel like more of a Battlefield game now. Sniping and using the new Shotgun today! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
When Jack plays it's like he's battling AI/bots the way he slaughters the opposing players. When I'm playing it's like I'm in pee-wee soccer playing against Messi and the Argentinian national soccer team
@@Northstar-Media of course not. Some people are just really good at FPS games. But as long as you're having fun, it doesn't actually matter how good you are.
I feel like battlefield is mostly about positioning and overall game sense, I'm usually top 3 with 20-40 kills without even using vehicles, even though I'm not very good at competetive shooters
It is honestly really fun. Get yourself a squad of a couple people you can communicate with and it’s a blast. The maps are large and varied enough that you can find your own play style and play it the whole game. My friends and I take the transports with repair tools and rockets and just play support the entire game. I had 0 deaths and 60 assists in one game with zero kills because I’m usually the pilot. Plus, it’s on gamepass now
I hate to say it, but I’ve considered myself cautiously optimistic about the games trajectory and jumped on the moment it came to Game Pass, only to be seriously let down. I’d heard about the issues, but experiencing it myself was devastating. It’s not that the game felt broken or empty, it was just chaotic and lacked things I always associated with BF like suppression and overall chances for a sort of methodical approach or pacing in combat. It feels to me like it’s just another twitch shooter that I played BF to avoid.
2042 itself went through a complete identity crisis and the state that its in now is far from what it was at launch last year it's really only missing large scale destruction
It's depressing that the standard in gaming is making a game that is a warm cup of piss then fixing it and tweaking it to logical standards months to years later.
Jack, you should try breakthrough on the updated manifest map. It's an even better experience I'd say. They are getting things back on track with the new maps and map updates. Looking forward to that reworked breakaway map.
I've been one of these guys expecting more from 2042 with every turn But I agree breakthrough on Manifest feels amazing, reminds me of Bf1 operations Crazy what a decent map and a working game does
@@darrens3494 This explains why I feel BF2042 is easier (just by videos) although I've never played it. MW2 which I do play, unfortunately is way more unforgiving.
Glad to see my beloved Battlefield finally get finished and in a more playable state with more players, good to see the free accessibility for new players 🙌
They still got a Lil ways to go but overall my opinion about 2042 has changed. These days I'm actively looking forward to opportunities to play and encouraging others to give it a try at least. Goodluck to you all!
@@Snoop_Dugg Less buggy, no server issues, HUGE map changes and new maps are good as well, Imo most maps are way better than bf5 now. Also many balance changes - no broken class abilities, vehicles are more balanced too. There is a lot of weapons and upgrades to choose from as well, at least compared to bf1 and bf5
I started playing a week ago, it takes some getting used to and some very frustrating games learning the maps but it’s really worth it. Plus had a great battlefield moment where I wing suited onto an enemy heli from the top of a skyscraper and shot it down, unfortunately I’m too dumb to know how to record stuff. Anyway good game lotta fun.
Yea they really fixed and overhauled the game. A really awesome experience except for those times you get put on a team thats getting steamrolled, but thats just natural every now and then
I didnt enjoy this game that much to keep playing a lot so i quit it but it’s enjoying to watch your clips every now and then. I can really appreciate the work they have done in the graphics and landscape for this game
It's doing the exact thing previous BF since BF3 are doing, I called it. Starts off broken but turns into a good game. This will probably a really great game in about a year with more content, fixes and features.
The attention to detail of previous bf games isn’t there. And the specialist system will still be there even with the “class system”. I don’t think it’s worth keeping this game alive. Luckily there are new projects in the works that will replace 2042.
Pls dont compare bf3 with this 😂 maybe they managed to make it a playable shooter but its still so much off what bf used to be. Still having hopes for the next project (but not preordering 🤞🏻🤣)
Even though i purchased MW2 i just decided to try BF2042 as it is free on GP and i am amazed how well this game compared to MW2 and Warzone 2. Contrary to general opinion i feel much more fun in BF2042 than MW2 and decided to stick with it instead of MW2.
I'm in the same boat. Bought MW2 at launch but decided to give 2042 a whirl since it came to gamepass. Haven't played MW2 since then. I'm having such a fun time with it.
Played an insane round on Manifest conquest mode. Kept taking the sector's on the ships back and forth and through all the containers. I was owning with the VCAR. Was a very fulfilling bf experience for sure.
@@nikolasferreira3247 yea I got into bf4 on the lte side so all content was released . I do agree that more content should be given in terms of weapons / maps … but I like how it plays , I also like the different characters , makes it a little personalized to players play styles . But I do agree with the content part of it , more for sure … but game feels and plays great
Was starting to love this game again with all the updates adding new weapons and maps but it's rare that I get a game that lasts more that 30 min if that. It seems like the game always ends just when it's getting really fun
JACK. Stop being so good! People like you keep killing me before I can even begin to enjoy the game :( But actually, amazing content. Always impressed with your skill...and luck...
Jack can you do a tips & tricks video for BF2042 soon? I'm most interested in how you move, how you use cover and how you decide which gunfights to take.
Picked it up on sale recently. Haven't played since the beta but for $20 I felt it was worth that much at least to check out all the changes I've been following on this channel. I gotta say, I'm having a lot of fun with it. In its current state, I'd liken it to feeling sort of like Battlefield V trying to be Battlefield 4
Came back to 2042 a few days ago and it's been a freaking blast. The Rush XL was so awesome. they need to make it permanent or let use create games with 128 players.
ah good man, unreal tournament got me into pc gaming and that missile is just the redeemer reincarnated. great to see the concept still alive over 20 years later.
Jack, could you please show us the scoreboard at the end when you show us a full round? You used to do that on older Battlefield videos. Right now it's like watching a really good movie and have it end just before the plotline is revealed! Thank you!
We play games to unwind and have fun. 2042 delivers just that. Its fun! And the best part is that’s its only getting better. Always nice to see you have some simple genuine fun Jack! Did I forget to say this game is fun? Its fun !
Man I miss this game. They didn't put the love into it like they should have.. but it's still an amazing game. Lots of fun. Being able to customize your gun so smoothly on the fly should be in all games
@@thegamerboy1000 cool! I like watching game play on RU-vid… looks pretty cool. I don’t have a gaming pc though, and probably won’t get one. Unless they can make it work on next gen console.. I may never get into it.
@@Zambuique Germany. I seem to have worked so hard this week that it felt like 3 days down already instead of 2... 😒 Really looking forward to some Holidays next week.
I can tell it's in 4K and has raytraced ambiant occlusion...And with the 4090 he certainly has, well he doesn't need DLSS, so it's native 4K. Which is right on good.
@@puffoley24 yep i have a 3060 with this settings and i'm around 50-60 fps... Game is well optimized. But with DLSS. Which jack doesn't use here. Or maybe just for DLSS3 and its double framerate.....
During breakthrough match a few nights ago, on the spearhead map, some players got a RAM inside one of the cube and the rest of their team just place down Irish trophy system, it was a mess for our team.
This game is a lot of fun. Yes it's still missing a lot of features like switching teams or squads for that matter plus alittle light on the map count and weapon count but it's definitely a lot of fun. Recommend picking it up if you can get it for 30 bucks or less since there's no single player campaign.
Class vid again , it is so much fun, it feels great , only thing where's the peek yet on bf , can't count how many times ave tried to peek 🤣, get high on life ✌️
When he says, "is no one going to shoot him" the hit right in the relatability feels. You get so many teammates just stare at the floor and avoid the objective. Like why mate? What's going on in the head of yours??
@@Northstar-Media yeah, it's a bit weird, on 128 players you just die quite often, and it seems like no one is shooting at Jack, they just run in front of him.
One of my favorite BF2042 additions have been the transport vehicles. Both the osprey and the mav have really added to the game in my opinion. The osprey raining down fire and troops at all times, trying to shoot it down when it gets too close. The mav is way more fun to drive than I would have imagined. Being a traveling spawn beacon, taking flags with all turrets blazing, putting pressure on the enemy team at all times. I feel like I have been able to get comebacks more frequently when I have a good mav run.
at 7:59 you got owned so fast, THIS is what happens to me non-stop in this game. Guessing you were playing on the free weekend, many people just playing like CoD by the look of the video. haha, cheers!
Anyone else just want another BF4, but with new visuals, extensive gun, vehicle and character customization, and all being rooted in modern realism. 2042 just feels way too over the top, goofy and futuristic.
