BF2042 Gyro gameplay using JoyCon on PC More: Battlefield 2042 - Gyro Controls gameplay [GOL Magnum Sniper] - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cno_Ow9xlV8.html
Do you play with Gyro Always On, or button triggered gyro? I notice your camera is not shaky at all despite playing gyro where each little jitter movement of a button press can cause the screen to shake when the sensitivity is set to high. Shoot Trigger looks to be set to L2 (Left trigger) as well, so I imagine that lessens the shakiness as well because the right controller is the one controller the gyro mouse?
I use Gyro On Ratcheting, so default state is off and I use a button to turn it on while it's held. Also the split design of Joycon mean that I don't get the jitter from pressing my fire button since I have that on the left side and the gyro being used is on the right side
@@directedinputthanks, that is so cool. Now I'm inclined to buy a set of joycons myself! 😊 How would you say is the quality of the gyro compared to DualSense or DS4 (Which I use). And are your analogue sticks the stock ones or self modified?
Unfortunately the gyro quality on Joycon is known to be the lowest among all the gyro controllers, I still use them because of the split design but it's definitely a lower quality compared to controllers like the DS4 or dualsense. My sticks are the default ones that come with the binboks
Hello, please tell me how I can calibrate the gyroscope in the Rewasd 7 version, I looked at the documentation, but there is no gyroscope calibration button in the Rewasd 7 version. Thanks in advance for the reply. Controller Doyoky Epoch.
Hey, reWASD calibration is setting them down on a flat surface for a few seconds. You will see the cursor drifting then stop as it calibrates and then you can continue using them. As for the Epoch I'm not sure about firmware updates I think you'll have to contact Doyoky about it
Can you use these on xbox series x? If not what's the next best one. I have the xim nexus gyro controller and the armor x pro gyro adapter for xbox controller. Have you ever tried them out on consoles. Thanks
I don't think there is a way to use these on Xbox, the only way I can think of is using the reWASD bluetooth mode to send it to the xbox but even then I use mouse/keyboard binds so it'd have to be a game that supports mouse and keyboard. I haven't tried those controllers as I don't play on console
Great video as always! I'm thinking to buy one of these to gyro gaming on pc. I've been playing with my duelsense just for fps gyro gaming but it doesn't feel really ergonomic for myself i love to play with gyro tho. So i would love to try with joycon style controller this time. Would you recommend me one joycon alternative controller? I know you've been telling people gyro qualities are vary so you can't just point one brand or product but what's the most safest one to buy now adays in your opinion?
I have an Epoch but can't really recommend it, personally I find it kind of uncomfortably big and it just has an odd kind of feel to it, especially the shoulder buttons.
@directedinput I just got my alt joycon it's one of copy of the old binbok rgb i believe. and it feels not bad! i thought it'd be worse since my experience with official joycons was pretty bad. cuz of the lag. but it doesn't have that kind of lag for a couple of hours of playing. i like most of part of this product , but its latency isn't that great. i didn't expect this as good as dualsense's input lag altho it's quite slower than i expected. And it has some kinda drags of gyro, a lil bit but it's there. and it does effect for accuracy of aimming. Is there any way that i can reduce its latency or lag? Anyways thank you for your comments and the recommendation! i love it most of part!
Hmm, is it slower like when you move it's delayed before moving on screen? The dualsense has a high polling rate compared to joycon so it will definitely have less lag but what you are experiencing might be unrelated to that and just poor quality of the gyro. Can you check if both sides are the same? The only thing I can recommend to do is try different programs like JoyShockMapper or reWASD and adjust the smoothing values to see if you can get it feeling more responsive. Also try a different bluetooth adapter. Joycon are always more tricky with bluetooth compared to regular controllers due to needing two simultaneous connections. You can also try just connecting one joycon and aiming with that to see if the lag is bluetooth related.
I use Gyro Ratcheting on the X button (north face button). I use gyro on ratcheting which means default state is off and I hold the button to enable it
4:12 so mobapad m6 hd is ok now? I want her them instead of broken dualsense Or what would you recommend from gyro quality and big hands ergonomics point 🫠
That clip is from when I was reviewing it, I don't use it anymore because of issues I had in my review (drift, mushy triggers and the comfort of the back button) It's hard to recommend anything based on gyro quality as I've found gyro quality even within the same product can vary, but I think the doyoky lumos is probably the safest bet right now for large style joycon.
