Battlefield 2042 Portal Gameplay featuring hardcore BF1942 conquest on El Alamein. Played and recorded on the "Karma Community Milsim 1942 Conquest" server made by Karmakut. Server settings are designed to deliver a custom hardcore no HUD milsim experience. The server had about 55-65 players during the match, remaining slots were filled by bots. Quick Overview: U.S. Infantry gameplay. The engineer class is used, equipped with the M1 Garand and an M1911 sidearm. M3 halftrack and Sherman gunner gameplay is also shown.

Haha, yes. BF1 was amazing and BF5 wasn't bad. WW1 + WW2 content is always interesting for me. Hoping they continue to update 1942's portal so we can see more maps and more fronts.

Btw I have an idea for a mode that I've been slightly tinkering with. It's a asymmetric milsim WW 2 mode with less germans than UK and the brits are locked to bolt action rifles, one class and only some light vehicles while the germans have all the weaponry they want and the regular classes as well as heavy vehicles. Do you think a mode like this would work?

Hi Joel, I think that should be possible. Battlefield portal has some powerful faction specific weapon locking settings and you can control what vehicles spawn for each faction as well. I haven't run through the portal settings myself, but from I what have seen, faction specific weapons and vehicle spawns on the popular "KC Milsim" server work in this way, so I think your idea should work. How do you know which is your enemy and which one is not? They all look the same

Hi Hamza, it is definitely hard to tell, and more difficult with the BF1942 models rather than the BC2 and BF3 models. It is something that comes with a bit of practice although I still often make friendly fire mistakes because of it. You may also identify players based on which direction the player is moving, say moving towards an objective your team captured may indicate that player is an enemy. You can also try and identify faction locked weapons from far away, or model specific characteristics like the large medical backpack on the German medic. Hope this helps!

Hi Thiago, to find the sever head to the portal server browser and look for "Karma Community Milsim 1942 Conquest". This server sometimes had server population issues so I am not sure if it is still up, but that would be the server you would want to look for. Thanks for the kind words and I hope this helps!

If you want both sides to have bolt action rifles as main weaponry you can make the allied side UK and give them the sniper MK4 but without the scope. This way you can have bolt action 1942 giving it a bit different feel.

Hi Luispine, the server name was "Karma Community Milsim 1942 Conquest". I just checked for you, and the server doesn't seem to be up anymore. Battlefield 2042 just had a major update, so it may be a few days until the server returns to the portal server browser. Hope this helps!
