This would make a FG-42 straight downgrade though. The weapon in real life weights like 12-13 kgs, so carrying and aiming easily would be pretty hard. But then again, weight is usually isn't an issue for BF soldiers :D
I really wish they allowed this gun to aim without being bipoded. It may have been my 2nd favorite LMG since I found the FG42's recoil a bit uncontrollabe for my liking. Of course my favorite is always going to be the Bren gun.
But if they did that, then there’d be pretty much no reason to use the FG42 or BAR. I’d say that they should’ve given the S2-200 a hipfire upgrade to enforce the aggressive MMG role it’s supposed to fill.
I remember this thing tearing it up prior to the ttk update but now I have to prepare to dump half my mag at a target at a medium to long distance in order to land a kill
In my opinion this is one of the most difficult to use MMGs in the game at the moment. 30 round mag and moderate recoil, and has miniscule damage compared to other options in the MMG section.
If the S2-200 were a LMG, it would have out classed the FG42 easily with its 30 round magazine and rate of fire even when upgraded. Matter of fact: I have killed more players in BF5 with this gun. Maybe even more with LMG status.
Yeap, doing it too atm 😅 gotta play like a camper in creative places. I've gpne to new places I don't usually visit. But it's good since the old maps are so familiar through and through
This gun is extremely bad. Bad stats. Bad specialization paths. Bad ttk. Bad everything. It was hit superhard by the nerfs. But it is kinda fun because it is so weird.
@@johnxina1675 yes it was called the mg30. However later in the war some units replace it with the mg-42. This was mostly eliet units though, such as the paratroopers.
