Battlefield 5 is still great fun to load up, chill out and hit some snipes on! Good Laugh going back to this game, hopefully the cheating situation has improved a bit too. Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
@@hidsgi-games5369uhhh i admit its good besides aircraft the best was still BF3 the heli/hevok felt very real and the jet dogfights with ecm was just another level it even had a top speed limit 313 if everyone still knows
I enjoyed BF5. I felt the criticism from the community was too harsh. And it caused the devs to fuck things up by changing time-to-kill by nerfing weapons. Then they eventually restored it. They just needed to come out with more maps. And do something more about cheating.
I think most of the potential was lost because DICE were focussing on "hidden battles" or whatever they called it. Missed out on potential but still one of my all-time favourites.
If I recall correctly, I think there was some concept art out there for the Italians so they were most likely planned to be added before they scrapped development entirely on BF5 to focus on 2042.
Yeah, dont know why the stupid ass fanbase went apeshit over females in bf5 and ignored every good part of it. I got it for free on ps4 and it was the first time i had fun for hours straight in a battlefield game it was immersive as hell when people started calling v1 bombs in the last sector of rush 🔥🔥
Imagine what this game could have been if the start of the game was just good! Imagine if DICE did early WW2 at the start and with every season WW2 progressed like it did in history. Very big and missed opportunity.
Huge miss. Lack of content early on killed this game. You can't have a serious WW2 game and take a year to release Pacific weapons and warfare. Absolutely too long. They never released the Russians missing out on more guns. What the hell happened?? They fucked it up big time. God damn shame
i mean the animation is cool but the traditional reviving system is better for gameplay reason since you can do a longer charge for more health restoration and also its consistent with the health and ammo crates in previous games since they werent animation based they would just heal/restore ammo over time within radius
The gun balance and customization of BF4, the atmosphere of BF1, the movement and gunplay of BFV and the vehicle balance and maps of BF3 = BEST BATTLEFIELD WE COULD'VE GOT
@@SirMrTreflip Maybe you should read my comment again and then see the differences. For starters, I make a big difference between gun balance and gunplay. After this, I mention the map and vehicle balance present in BF3, none of which were mentioned in the other comment.
@@cfvgd You mean the game that introduced bloom aka random bullet deviation to the series? Oh, yes, very good mechanic, I'll give you that, bravo to the genius who thought about it.
I spent over 1500 hours on BF5 since release and absolutely loved it. Only reason I quit was because of cheaters. A few months ago it was impossible to have a single game w/o one. But seeing this, god I want to launch it again. Dammit Jack you gonna make me reinstall 90go, my internet is not that fast.
Played bfv on console throughout its whole release. Stuck with it through the ups and downs of it all. Got a PC last summer and tried it out and it was full of cheaters, if it's better I might give it another shot
Official servers in Asia are full of cheaters. I only ever play on community servers these days, since most of them run BFV Robot (basically an unofficial anti-cheat). Cheaters are less common in NA/EU from what I've heard, though your mileage may vary.
I started playing it like a year ago and loved it, and same here. I would like to play more, but cheaters just ruins the game, It's every other game. If not every game..
The Vehicle in question was a LVT(A)1 (Has a 37mm gun) I think BFV also allows you to turn it into the LVT(A)4 with the 75mm Howitzer. The normal ones were just LVT 1s and were giving the nickname Alligator. The LVT's in BFV were the later models with the ramps in the back, LVT 4s and LVT 2 Water Buffalos. They were mainly used by the marines during WW2 in the Pacific Theater (which is obvious)
@@Gonna_be_rich_69.Funny, I knew the second I posted that comment I'd get someone replying saying exactly what you did. Say whatever you like my guy. I'm a History buff/nerd and it's a passion of mine. Yeah, sure I play War Thunder what History nerd doesnt play the damn game.
I still play bf5 all the time. The gunplay in this game is genuinely fantastic and it had great atmosphere. I could understand some of the hate it got, but the internet has a habit of not giving games a chance to improve. This one could’ve been truly great.
Yeah the Internet/Gamers are often ridiculous in how overhyped/over-hated sth is. Like BFV made very questionable marketing decisions but the game itself is really good… yet people acted as if it was the worst BF ever released and the downfall of the series. Now Battlebit releases and people are saying it‘s doing everything better than BF… except it really doesn‘t. It‘s lacking Jets and Shotguns, because they‘re too hard to balance (imagine if DICE did this… the outrage), it has a super unnecessary bleeding mechanic that doesn‘t fit into a super chaotic game like this at all, and makes gunfights unnecessarily tedious. It has no active spotting for teammates (in a 254 player game!! What? Collecting/sharing information is like the basis of teamwork)… I mean it‘s incredible what 3 people made here don‘t get me wring, but people act as of it would kill BF. It won‘t. It‘s just doing sth that people wanted for years, ball is now in BFs court
I am forever in love with the Pacific. Any game that is played there, I'm in. I wish I could've experienced this game at launch when there were a lot of people playing it. I was taking a break from gaming when it came out. @jackfrags thanks for taking the time to make these videos. Love it!
@Jackfrags what you are looking at there my friend (around 0:30 in) is called an LVT-(A). Also known as the Landing Vehicle, Tracked (Armored) or AmTrac for short. These were built in large numbers for the Pacific Theater of Operations by US Armed Forces as an Amphibious Tracked Vehicle to cross tidal lagoons and coral reefs during the island hopping campaign of WW2. The US Marines and Army troops nicknamed it the “Alligator” because of the way they would “waddle” across the shallow waters on approach to the beaches. You’re welcome and thank you for the vids brother. I’ve been watching since 2013. Keep up the quality content and I’ll keep up with the random factoids. Much love from the USA 🇺🇸
The vehicle is actually an LVT(A)-1 which used the turret of the Stuart light tank. It was an armoured version of the LVT-2 Buffalo. The "Alligator" was an early version of the LVT conceived several years before the war by Donald Roebling. The name Alligator was used because it was developed for operation in swampy areas and it seems the name continued to be used for later variants. There was also and LVT(A)-4 which used the turret of an M8. I believe that these were more appropriately named amtanks with the general class of vehicle being known as amtrac, the "am" denoting amphibious nature of the vehicle. LVTs were used in the North African, European and Pacific theatres of WW2. LVTs were used for river crossings or for crossing flooded or swampy areas in the European theatre rather than delivering vehicles and troops to beachheads as was the case in the Pacific theatre.
@@stephengraham1153 thanks for filling in the gaps of my historical memory my friend. I knew about the various iterations in the design process but didn’t want to make a judgment call based on incomplete info. Thanks again
"Just feeling it" is absolutely how it should be with bf5, just hopping on every once in a while can provide great moments, however I find that playing frequently on the game often results in quick burnout and frustration. Great vid tho jack!
First time i actually got burnt out and mad asf in a bf game was 2042 when the enemy started spamming the spawn device thing and putting it on the end of the map to die 38389 times and keep coming back while medics walk past you everytime.
I don’t care what anyone says, Battlefield V is my favorite of the series. Fantastic infantry gameplay, the most realistic vehicle mechanics (limited ammo with reload stations, tanks that drive their actual historic speed, squad repair), some really amazing map design, and a phenomenal soundtrack behind it all. I really just wish they would’ve actually cared for the game. I think a D-Day map on the Breakthrough game mode would have had serious potential to be the best battlefield experience you could find.
Same, just wish he'd play anything other than sniper 90% of the time. That man basically never uses vehicles (if he does, he quickly gives up on it), which is a shame in a BF game.
@@hidsgi-games5369Would be nice to see him play assault more. Assaults basically do 90% of objective clearing, snipers most of the time just passively camp and don't contribute to the victory
0:25 @jackfrags that thing is called LVTA-1 amphibious light tank a turret version of amphibious LVT-1 amphibious landing craft back in you know 1940's WW2.... :)
Don’t know what you’re going through Jack. Hope you’re doing alright. I’ve watched your videos for years. After a long day at work, it’s always been nice to sit down with my dinner (after the fam is asleep)and watch one of your videos.
The game is fantastic on PC too, my most played game since switching last year. Absolutely plagued with rage hackers and server crashers though, you can still get decent games but it's a big problem. If anything it shows how good of a game bf1 is that the problem is so big, yet we still return
@@microwavegommmm916 I’ve kind of been disappointed by live service games and how they inevitability get abandoned for future projects. Like I know the latest COD Blackops is now an actual security risk to play. I’m hoping that companies start using advanced AI to keep up with maintenance and security for older games. Maybe task a small team to supervise everything.
I miss the glory days of bfv. I loved this game so much. I think it’s mostly due to the squad of people I played with. We had just committed mutiny within our clan and broke off and created our own lol the good ole days
I loved BF5 I still play it, Arras, Pacific Storm and Twisted Steel maps were my favorite. Rotterdam, Panzerstorm, and Al Sudan could be fun with 2 even teams
Still play just about everyday on Xbox! Love the squad call-in system, the gunplay, the music (not used as well as BF1). Just overall more mechanics and variety to keep me coming back over BF1. Tried 2042 for a few hours recently and just didn't feel right. Great laughs and content Jack! More BFV!! Would love to see you mess with the Sturmtiger 😁
You should do a video on the two urban BFV maps - they have some of the best urban design of the series. Rotterdam has really interesting features (the canal and bridges) and Devastation has really great pacing and atmosphere. And both are so action packed
I actually liked the attrition mechanics, it was more strict at the launch of the game but towards the end they made it very lackluster since many apparently did not like it, also loved how snipers would start counting headshot streak’s
the weird tank is a LVT-A, which is a landing vehicle transport, the A standing for aquatic. it would be used to go from ocean to land and carry troops as well. it can drive on water.
Really disappointed in BF2042.. it was the worst launch for a battlefield game in my opinion and that’s saying something because of BF4 but 2042 launched at $70 with no campaign and no content and we only get one map per season.. I just want a new battlefield already
They were so close and decided to not finish this game dispite making significant strides towards the end of its life cycle. 2042 is not significant to this day with improvements and its been a long time compared to bf5. its still a lesser game than almost every other bf game. bf5 deserved to be finished. not 2042.
I’ve always enjoyed when Jack goes back and plays the older BF titles especially 3 and 4 maybe we all can get a remastered Battlefield game one day that would be wonderful
I will always come back to your video Jack, u are just an absolute chad and I’ve always enjoyed your humor and gameplay since I have a memory, much love ❤
Aww Frags!! Mental health is so important. Your videos are always so chill to watch, and the range of game content is amazing. Honestly, I can't swap between games that easily haha.
Loving all the vids Jack. Hope you’re doing well. Always love watching your content. Wether it be battlefield or anything else. Love your work. Keep doing what you’re doing.
I loved Bf5, such a shame they ended support for it, especially when it was in it made such a comeback with the pacific. 2042 will never reach the same levels of immersion of excitement for me. I'd like to see a team vid of you Jack and a few of your BF buddies playing BF5, reminiscing etc Either way, good to see more BF5 on the channel!
Not a fan of WWx era FPS games anymore but I'll always watch a Jack video on them. Thank you for all the content Jack. It's awesome and you're awesome. GGs
Ruby is actually a Spainish pistol that was used by the French from the 1910s to the 1950ish. The pistols were made by close to 50 different small family manufacturers in Spain. It's a really well designed pistol kind modeled after the Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless.
This video was very chill Jack, i enjoyed it a lot. It's absolutely fine that you have to take time for videos, we will be here to enjoy them either way ^_^
I live for these Battlefield videos. Especially BF4, BF1, BF5 and 2042. Maybe make a thing out of it? A series of regular random fun 😊 And also your youtubing is unique and awesome so yes, pls more of these 🤣
Yes it is like that on console. Twisted steel and Panzerstorm maps break the server most times now with several different bugs one being halfway through a match the spawns become weird, pinging and kill feed stop working, and oddly in the network graph the person who did damage to you actually begins to work and show the player name. The other bug can be you load into a game already started and player models are stiff whiteish cardboard cut outs on "your" experience of the game. "Stiff" being they aren't animated they are either standing or crouched whether they are leaning, running, or walking. Then if you tolerate that till the end the server won't load the next map being panzer storm it will try to reload twisted steel. Also if you quit and even reload the game you will have the same problem with cardboard cut outs, you have to restart the console to get a normal load of the game.
Whenever I play this game, the atmosphere is pure chaos. I'm bombarded from all sides, and the moment I spawn, I'm killed instantly. I just can't handle it, as it seems everyone who spawns is destined to be killed immediately. On the other hand, the game you play seems very calm, allowing you to travel from point to point without being killed. Quite strange, Jack.
Best Battlefield game IMO. Great maps, with actual flow between objectives. People hated it because it's hard to start on it. The best thing, also, you don't have choppers farming and those pink doritoes. And you knew when you were spotted and could counter it (either shooting the flare, shooting the sniper or using a smoke granade).
I just need this gameplay movement and mechanics back. It was so smooth and it actually felt like I could run away and escape being shot at by infantry and vehicles
