Battlefield Line Aerial Flyover at Shackerstone & Market Bosworth 

Very regular visitor in the 80s and 90s, and took daughter to Santa specials through much of he 2000s, but, u fortunately not been for ten years or more. By god, those north tracks, suppose they should be called sidings now could be mistaken for toton. Ok not really but it’s a nice thought. They really need a lot more covered accommodation. I suppose the peak could have been considered a no hoper from the start, but would hate to see that loco collection decay through exposure to the elements. Thank you SO much for posting this video, I think it brilliant.

Really interesting video! I have been going to this railway since I was 4 years old. I’ve always wandered what was in those two sidings that stretched off into the distance. From the looks of things mainly spare engines and wagons. Some of them I even recognise as engines I saw from my childhood.

i see recently they have now erected a kind of shed building in the sidings going off to the right where lots of those locos are
