BFV (PC, PS4, Xbox One) is the latest WW2 multiplayer shooter. It does some familiar things and some new things with mixed results. Let's talk! Subscribe for more: / gameranxtv
This is exactly what happened with bf4 no one thought it would be good (not trash, I made a simple mistake don’t scream at me keyboard warriors) and the campaign became a meme it was so bad, I think bf5 will turn out to be a really good game and one that a lot of people can enjoy especially when the free bonus content roles out.
Kearney Hussey meh its a pretty hard community to plz, they got shit for being historically accurate in bf1 and now they’re going with a different approach and people don’t like it. I think it’s better this way, let’s u reimagine the war
I would love to see bf6 if that will happen. Be in modern war times. Just one more time. With today's tech it would be insanely gorgeous and so much fun.
@@arpangujral3075 I wonder if they would add women I think if they pushed that and starting making remarks about the game like "If you don't like it, Don't buy it." Then it would flop. But if they kept bf 3 the same and didn't change it and just remastered it I think it would do well.
@@BennyGoId exactly, the release is the same as the past games what are people even arguing about, they're gonna get free dlc and they're so stupid they start talking about the game releasing complete
@@raghnarblrp I defended it often, unfortunately I found out about that, even played mega man x remaster instead of rdr2 :O Thats why I have a look for BFV right now
Aou Celloutus yeah it’s a weird one. It’s does such as good job of immersing you into a fight but that fight just doesn’t feel like WW2. There are the occasional cinematic moments which remind you of a scene from a film but the overall feeling just ain’t WW2 (and no, it’s not because of women... you barely notice them visual or audibly after a number of hours of game time). Still a quality game though.
that is exactly how i feel about it. The game is pretty good (online mode), crisp grafix but it does NOT scream WW2 at all. Something is way off, it feels like a modern warfare game with WW2 skins slapped on.
@@jylobo1112 Yeah, bro. Don't you know? The Nazi's aren't even germans anymore... turns out that in 2018 is too offensive to even show Swastikas in a WW game. lol.
I mean I played the 10 hour EA access trial and I really liked the gameplay. It really did feel like a battlefield game. If you look past the screaming women everywhere it feels like a ww2 game too. I think if it goes on sale for 40 bucks or less ima pick it up. If i were you I would play the ea access trial and see if you like it.
Dude we don't play games for history lessons. Should've learned about that in school. Why do gamers want to emulate real life in video games? Everything has to be photorealistic and feel like it's actually happening. Why? Wanna be a soldier? Go join the military and become part of the history you wanna feel so bad. I bet if these games caused you actual physical harm when you took damage, you wouldn't dare touch them or scream for more first person shooters
At least he sounds natural, unlike many others. It's just more of the same at the end of the day, if you like BF1, why not? That sums up this video, lol But I am with the community regarding boycotting EA no matter what. They can release the next Jesus in form of a game, it doesn't matter, no buy.
It's already 40 bucks on keystores. I am really tempted to buy it but I know that it is not worth with the current content. I just want to play with some Streamer... And it's a shame that I can't mod textures in the game even if it would be client side for me
@@davidfajka7149 Not true. There are a few new features that it brought to the table. Such as fortifications, better destruction, back peddling, and grenade physics/mechanics.
So what's incomplete? The fact that they have more content for the game and are releasing it over time to keep the game fresh instead of everyone burning out on it. No mentions of no season pass I mean I'm not a fanboy but I bought it and it's good people comparing it to battlefield 1 when that's had 2 years of DLC and updates behind it
YgZ, yeah that's what he said he's gonna do, stupid. And why are you calling him a snowflake for not blindly loving a company? As far as I'm concerned, you are probably more of a snowflake than he is.
Yes I vaguely remember EA pulling some political stunt for more sales and it subsequently blowing up in their face lmao. Didn't that guy get fired too? Oh well bet they don't try that again :)
I really wish they do a sequel to 2142. I was never able to play it but it always seamed like such a cool concept even after all these future shooter games are out there
@@BigHailFan yes, and i cant for the love of me understand why, since Ea basically called their costumers DUMB and told 'em not to buy their game.yet these ppl come and defend Ea and their shitty attitude
@@XxWharxX I understand what you're trying to say but if you look at the dice Dev talks and their Twitter you can see they really love this game maybe stop letting one person who left EA months ago ruin a great dice game. it's pretty fun and I wouldn't want you to miss out. Just my opinion
They were sponsored by EA because they used footage from a capture event that let them play early. A lot of them even voiced their criticisms in that same 'sponsored' video. But go off.
It's a good game although it's pretty buggy so might be worth waiting a few weeks for them to fix the issues. Personally I don't really understand all the controversy surrounding the game. Yes, it's historically inaccurate but DICE as of late haven't been aiming for accurate historical representations in their games. Battlefield 1 had a fucking tank the size of a large building and a power armor suit that could soak up bullets like a sponge. The fact a female with a prosthetic arm is a soldier really doesn't bother me at all. Gameplay and game stability should be the main focus, not how big of a role a female has in the game. If you want to bitch about the game, bitch about the horrendous bugs and lackluster campaign.
@@sidmas-zj5eu Really? I mean The Only Hate I seen that it got was its trailers Voice Acting but other then that it pretty much has a decent dedicated fan base and community compared to battleField V, also in all honesty Wildlands was pretty repetitive but I could care less as I found it enjoyable in Co-op, what in trying to say is wildlands didn't get as much hate and pointless arguing over stupid things like women in war like battlefield V has gotten so far but I see what you mean
Well the suits you are talking about existed although in small numbers. An Austrian man robbed several banks in the “power armor” you were talking about.
@@ughthatguy3274 Telling you right now, the people that hate the game haven't even played it, they always make the excuse "There were no black Germans "There were no prosthetic arms used by female soldiers" even though there are no prosthetic arms or black German characters you can choose from.
METAL TAIKA but this year, I went into mastered ultra instinct and saved the universe. As it stands right now, I can control it at Will with no drawbacks
@@darkmaster539 I agree it tries to you can't always be "the middle man" and i think that this channel has to learn that for example they described overkills the walking dead a it too positively for what the game promised and provided when Left4Dead is still better
To dumb to buy this game............. so.................... I won’t.......................... shame to, Ive actually heard positive things about it. Ever since Patrick Southerland made his little comment I’ve officially made the decision to boycott anything with the EA label on it. I know that means nothing, but I just wanted to point that out.
DanceySteve but, that is my opinion, and I’ve held that opinion ever since the reveal trailer. And it will not change. Just because I hold the opinion of the majority doesn’t mean I’m band wagoning. Which is what your inferring. If u enjoy the game good for u, I bet it’s fun, but EA calling their customers dumb was the last straw for me.
Personally It doesn't have to be spot on accurate. But having women running all over the battlefield is abit silly. It takes away from the gameplay. But thats just me.
Luke Krebs I agree I told a friend that and he said I was a complete sexist for saying it, I hate 2018 and 2019 so much now with feminists, now fatist. 😤😤😤😤
VillainousCreator you mind explaining how it sucks. And can your answer be something you thought of yourself not “I’m uneducated” or anything about women. Like what about the gameplay is bad?
They dont use the 3rd reich nazi flag so the gane doesnt get banned in germany, since the nazi flag is forbidden here. So they use the 2nd reichs flag instead
@@Cyprian96 Videogames in Germany are now allowed to have the 3rd Reich flags because they are now considered works of art along with movies, but EA is libtarded so they don't care about authenticity
from what i read when this happened, its only allowed in historical context in germany not for art, its a case by case basis. Since BF is not religiously historical it probably doesnt fall in that context. that being said, has nothing to do with EA, since BF1942 they never used the nazi flag in their game.
I was gonna buy it today but realized if I just wait a lil longer I will end up probably getting it cheaper. By that time the game should be more complete. I noticed it’s better to wait and cop games later on than on release day.
I was actually excited when it was rumoured they'd be doing a WW2 game, thinking about all the amazing/emotional/horrifying parts of WW2 i was really looking forward to it & to show a new younger generation of gamers a glimpse of what happened in WW2. I actually really enjoyed BF1 so i thought it'd be great to return to WW2, whilst improving on the BF1 formula. Then that 1st trailer...then all the ridiculous non-WW2 things in the game, the disgusting way EA were treating fans over their concerns, then the BETA which was very underwhelming & really didn't feel like WW2. Then all the release details of once again an incomplete game with barely any post launch content for a long period of time, focusing on 'untold stories' that with respect, aren't what most people want from a WW2 game & portrayed completely inaccurately to suit political agendas. Seeing how utterly terrible & short the campaign is, how small & non-battlefield the maps feel, there's only a few decent maps with only 2 more in the next 6 months. EA want $60+ for this. No. If people keep paying for these badly made, rushed, historically disrespectful, incomplete games then they'll just keep getting worse & worse. No.
They are giving away free dlc. 4 events. Each adds stories/campaign ,new guns ,new maps ,and new game modes. Also each event will revolve around a certain year during ww2 going in order. Pretty cool if you ask me.
Finesse Kid the fact you have faith in EA says alot. The 'free dlc' is a bit of a joke when it should be launching with the content sparse game. Also before Battlefront 2 sold underwhelming numbers they spoke about the huge amount of dlc they were going to add before they shamefully cut it down to hardly anything. I'm not going to say this game might not be worth getting in a year when it's cheaper, has more content & bug fixes & you have a better idea of how much content they will actually add but it's silly to buy the game right now.
@@D25Bev They cut it down because everyone was boycotting Battlefront 2, why have your dev teams work hard on DLC for a dead game when you can just move them to BFV which will bring them way more money. Also the first content update is dropping Dec 6th, the game released Nov 20th, that's hardly 6 months or whatever garbage you're trying to mislead people into believing
You're such a zombie that you unironically believe the smallest map shit lmao, Hamada is literally the biggest map in the Battlefield franchise. You formulated an opinion you know absolutely nothing on and 10+ other people believe you
ProfessorTiddles They literally sold Battlefront 2 naming all the dlc they were going to add to the game, to sell more copies then completely screwed people over once they bought it by not adding the majority of dlc that they said would go into the game. You think that's okay!? Also the content is being drip fed to the game. They have confirmed there's only 2 maps coming to the game for the next 5-6months, which fans have previewed & said are terrible. The story mission they're adding if anything like the rest of the stories will be incredibly bad. Omg 1 map in the game is big. The whole premise of battlefield was big maps, lots of vehicles etc, the majority in this game are incredibly poorly designed, funneling people into the same areas & small. I love the battlefield series. You're just a blind fanboy
This is the first Battlefield I play that have so many glitches, buggs and weird animations in both multiplayer and single player. I remember Bf4 have a lot problems the first months of launch but not like this one. Thats why BF1 isn't a perfect game but have a smoother multiplayer with excellent netcode, solid graphics and better campaign.
I just want BF4 remade basically. That was my favorite MP shooter of all time. Loved the classes and vehicle variety and the best maps. Huge fucking maps with planes and vehicles everywhere. Conquest was so epic. These newer BFs seem smaller in scale with less emphasis on vehicles which is puzzling to me given the history of BF.
Considering how I got everything battlefield 1 (including dlc) for 12 bucks. I await for the eventual announcement of the next game in the franchise that will make BF5 dirt cheap.
Loyal-TF-Fan I didn’t even have to pay anything for my copy, got the xbox one s bundle two years back and then got the dlc for free through gold last month and it still wasn’t worth it
Can we all just take the game for what it is and forget all the BS prior to launch....I'm so bored of seeing all these ''uneducated'' comments, move on people 😡
I want Spartan armor and revisionist history power ups. It's a game but not a ww2 game. If I'm playing a game because it's set in ww2 it helps to be set in ww2.
I am anticipated for BFV. It honestly looks stunning! Yes, there might be a couple issues here and there, but it doesn't take away the fact that it could be great! It's the same with BF4 when it was rough at the start, but look at it now. People still play it today! I have high hopes for this game and believe it will meet my expectations and beyond. Definitely buying BFV this year!
@@giorgosnikolaou7219 Thank you, that’s really helpful. I downloaded it off Game Pass just to see if it was a good game to properly buy and I’m still yet to play. So I will be doing that.
I returned on origin after 7 hours of playing :( Unfortunate cause Ive been played every battlefield game except hardline since BFBC2. It feels like a reskin of BF1, I was hoping for the customization level and weapon selection BF4 had. Having over 20 different scopes and sights, target detectors, range finders, flashlights, lasers, 14 different muzzle attachments (some of them different looks, same function, but still), and several different grips and bipods was one of the factors that made the gun play of BF4 so good. I know It's a WW2 game and obviously there wouldn't be range finder attachments, target detectors and such, but they still could of at least added different grips, more sights, muzzle breaks, suppressors...etc. The automatic weapons feel very similar, there isn't very much diversity between them due to lack of weapon stat customization I feel. Maybe ill pick this game up in a few months if they address this and the many other issues the game has.
The vocal quality of this video is MUCH better than your previous ones. I'm sure it had nothing to do with all of my criticism of your voice in previous videos, but thank you for finally doing something to change the vocal quality dude.
Most people here haven't tried the game and are just saying same shit to get likes and attention. The prosthetic limbs have been removed and yes there are female soldiers but does that really offend you that much? Also this game has already dropped to $40 which is a great price for a decent shooter with free future releases. People avoiding this game because of a flawed marketing campaign are really missing out here.
It's not about the game it's about the agenda I dont play games for agenda. Plus ea literally insulted the consumers if they insult me the consumer than dont derserve my money
John Y I know right. My great grandfather had a ww2 buddy with a wooden leg... he told me there were medics and mostly were women in the fields. So I don’t know why people don’t like the game for prosthetic legs and women.
It's gotten to point where any new game I go buy I check your review first. No bullshit paid review just legit gameplay and opinions. On behalf of most of the community it's much appreciated
I've started playing this yesterday, I was so mad with this game but.. it is insane, I said that it was 10 time worse than BF1 but instead it's 10 times better of BF1. If you compared it to the beta they seems 2 different games, the beta was horrible, now the graphics are awesome, the sounds is something never heard before, the fun is like BF4/BF3 and you never get bored (like in the beta) there are hundreds (and more) of things to do. I'm playing it and there are thousands of full servers, why? You get nothing by throwing hate on this game, people like it ;)
@@Nikolaos-Koemtzis nope :( the campaign is waaay worse than BF1. I've played only Tirallieur that is good but not too much and The Last Tiger which is absolutely beautiful. The other 2 are trash, trust me.
I think it's really good. The visuals, sounds and minor details are amazing. The maps are amersive and look amazing. I think it plays really well and is a step towards the right direction for EA. If they can stay on top of the live updates and not mess it up like they did with battlefront 2, its going to be bad ass on another level.
all jokes aside? the game is on sale for 30$ as someone who has played the game on pc, is it fun? i play alot of bf1 on ps4 and i like it alot, is it just as or even more fun than bf1? is it worth 30$?
I'm seeing a lot of comments saying not to buy the game because of EA. If EA gets rewarded for making good games without microtransactions and they get backlash (low amount of game sales) when they make paid games with blatantly pay to win features; Battlefront 2 for example, they will most likely keep making good games. If you completely boycott all of the company's products it doesn't matter to them whether they make good games or not. If you think you will like the game I don't see why you shouldn't buy it.
You should do a remake of this, because Battlefield has changed so much from its release version. It is much better now with firestorm and new maps on the way and new weapons.
