My dad played 1942. I played it with him. I would always hear that echo in my eardrums. Now onto BFV, I could care less what anyone says, that game struck some chords with me. My dad died before this was released, 3 years to be exact. I went into a game as soon as it was downloaded, popped into the map, and as soon as the horns went full blast, I stopped right where I was. On an LST, about to board an LVT, now just standing there in silence. I then cried my lungs out. It was powerful. Battlefield as a franchise has sentimental value to me. It's a keeper. I'll never forget it. Ever.
As the round was nearly coming to a close, our team about to lose, they banded together and went for the final push. Hell broke loose as they slowly went cover to cover, medics frantically reviving, snipers holding off as many as they could, support laying down suppressive fire and assualt leading the charge. It seemed that we were about to lose and our hope was going away fast. But I reached just the amount of points for a V1 rocket and called it in. While the hum to the enemy struck fear, it boosted my teams moral so high. The rocket landed clearing out nearly all of the enemies. The tides of the match changed in an instant. Must of been my most satisfying victory ever. All while this music played.
Yeah when you run around the specific ocean map and listen to it you feel kind of like you want to jump out of the airplane and parachute 🪂 Jump to any sector and secure specially Fox Because it’s far alone lol 😂
you cant compared with two games. BFV is full of glory and heroic soldiers fight for their nations but in 2042 the whole world is dying and the specialists are just no-pats
TheReal Lifehacks are you sure, cause both westie and jack made videos on how they aren’t going to revert it, only just take out the new spotting mechanics
This ost gives me goosebumps every time. You get such an adrenaline rush especially during the last minutes of the match while this plays in the background. You feel the rush when your team and the other team is so close on the ticket score like 11 to 9 tickets left; you are defending a base like crazy while being overwhelmed with enemies around you and air artillery bombarding the hell out of the base. You then no have choice but to survive the best you can while watching the tickets go down.
@@S3SSioN_Solaris they really force it to be that way, which I dislike. And in fact it makes some defending games feel like you were cheated if you lose. You can completely pummel the Americans on the Solomon Islands for the first two sectors, and they get like 200 reinforcements or more after a sector. BF1 never handicapped one side into a BS outcome, it just played out as it played out.
4:30 everything you did You survived Pashendale and Verdun... You are a veteran of the great war... Everything you have done has led you to this moment of taking that last objective...
As you may have noticed, I was on the fence in regards to changing the artwork in the video but I finally gave in. Thumbnails on most of my Battlefield V uploads have been now changed accordingly, depending if the track is related to singleplayer, multiplayer, firestorm or other content. Sadly I cannot change the image within the videos themselves so you'll have to live with it... ...but I doubt you'd have died anyway, especially if I was trying to shut you down with my favorite FG42
Jack of Black Phoenix Thanks for this upload, have you found this song yet? I’d love to hear it without all of the background noise. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mlKk10OGZ1s.html
I’m ready for bf 2042 but I’m not ready for bf5 to end I’m not ready!!! I personally think bf5 was beautiful especially the pacific I don’t want it to end but it will slowly start loosing players:,(
@@Frostwolf_103 "for the fans, made by the fans." Something EA and Dice heavily used in the past and press conferences. Also something basicaly any company uses.
Next chapter, they need to remake the British and German factions, brown accurate Non-American uniforms for the British and a proper German stahlhelms. Make the old maps better. Then for chapter 7, we meet the Soviets with Finland as a mini faction for one or two maps based on the Winter War. Stalingrad, Berlin, etc for the other maps. This would make BFV amazing.
Yes exactly what I would want. I almost dont even want to have Germany vs Soviet Union in the whole game until they make germans look authentic. They really need to fix both german and british uniforms. Also im all for the idea that Finland would become a mini faction during the Eastern front chapters. Im the White Death after all 😆
@@user-un6wk7ql2d If Chapter 6 still in pacific then it should has been Philippines counter-attack or Invasion of Okinawa or throwing Aleutian Islands campaign into the mixes of vs japan on snowy map.
when the game throws this music at you at the end of a round, whether you're about to lose or win for you it doesn't matter but you only throw yourself against the enemy even if it means dying the main thing is to inflict damage
It's always a blessing hearing this theme in game of breakthrough where you know it's gonna be another legendary finally of the match, something battlefield 2042 was lacking disrespectfuly.
Last game I ever played of this release, it was on one of the pacific maps, cant remember the name, it was a Grand Operation, we were short on men as we were dying so fast and on the last point of defence. this came on and I swear the entire mood of my team changed completely, as if everyone gritted their teeth and fought as ferociously as they could. Zeros gunning us down, about half a dozen artillery strikes and god knows how many squads came charging up that hill, we batted them back every time and won by a time out. One of the most high stakes games I've ever played in any game ever, and I remember everyone in team chat cheering their pants off. It was bloody brilliant.
Is anyone else annoyed that when this song plays at the last sector in breakthrough, you can never hear the full song because either you cap the objective too quickly and when you don’t the song just stops loosing all hype and momentum
Yes agreed but then again if it would play constantly like usually on Pacific Storm Breakthrough the song gets old pretty fast AND I DONT WANT THAT😢 I dont ever wanna get bored of these soundtracks
In my first (and only round so far) we were giving all we had at the last objective and there were a lot of flankings and good defense, and it kept me engaged even when I knew I would lose
If you want to hear the most of the song, play on Conquest instead. It's the best when both sides only have 50 troops left and everyone scrambles to get the last few kills in, while this plays. It's especially epic if you're in an airplane, either having a dogfight or bombing key objectives.
the end is a throwback to BF1, since BF1 basically gained the franchise the respect it deserves, of course they're gonna put in a throwback to a masterpiece :D
Nothing beats a good old game on wake on the final objective. I had a game where we pushed to the final obj and we were just pushing through like a wildfire through the objs. Final obj they held off our first attack but once the music started a second time there was no stopping our victory. Artillery barraged the area. I play medic so I’m frantically smoking and getting everyone back on their feet. Felt amazing just getting that win
i remember one time on this map i was playin breakthrough, we had 6 respawns left (we were on the attacking team) the music crescendoed as my entire team pushed to take the last point, genuinely the most cinematic thing ive ever been a part of in battlefield. the only thing that probably could have made it better was if it was in vr
Kinda sad to see battlefeild 5 now, I though after this update that dice had got the ball rolling again but then the announcement of no more updates in may, the soundtrack was amazing though
god, the moment this begins at the end of the round and your pushing and holding objectives, with the simultaneous battle between the more American sounding instruments and Japanese tribal drums in the song.. truly a battlefield moment.
I´ve been taking down planes on this map with this soundtrack. From a hopeless battle we shifted the round, besides taking down planes never felt so epic with this theme.
Yo bro I hope you see my comment but I really love the guy that you put on your profile picture the German soldier Really look innocent And he kind of reminding me of .you got that. German Army addition lol 😂❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊
this is a great soundtrack that embodies the clash of the U.S. and Imperial Japan with the eventual hard fought triumph over Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany
Sheldon BF4 nope, I mean this is good but bf1 just littery reimagined the battlefield and improved the theme, plus it was the game to make Battlefield a real threat to cod, and the most popular game in 2016, and one of the most in history, sorry bud but one track does not beat a full soundtrack of over 40 songs in the game
Helios 88 I mean we didn’t have the numbers, but untill bf1 it was just was a stalemate, always cod had the numbers but battlefield had the quality, in 2016 at any given time there was at least 300K people on BF1, bf1 today still has 25K players online in NA and EU servers
@@blooddixmond battlefield 1 made the theme dull and boring. THIS is a literal reimagining and remaster of the fan favorite 1942 theme which still holds as one of the best themes next to BF4, BF1943 and BF3. Tbh hearing BF1s theme didnt excite me and make me feel I was on a battlefield experiencing epic moments. BF1 was good visually and immersion was good but gameplay wise not the best
Man I remember being THE LAST tank alive in the final sector and fighting tooth and nail against wave after wave of Americans until I had no ammo left and was left to being just a driver and depending on teammates to man the passenger guns to keep up the fight until we were eventually overun. Just awesome.
@@MB-oi4st The US never attacked Wake island en masse. They only launched naval blockades and bombing raids. They went right around Wake in the Island hopping campaign.
Ian Phelps Didn’t the Japanese invade the island early on in the war? I think they rammed a troop ship onto the beach, like 2,000. Japanese vs ~140 marines
The music just kind of give you that feeling that you can do something even though that you’re losing in the end but you end up getting strength And actually win
