I like how Admiral Spiral spend over 800 years in the warp, then gets told Cadia is destroyed. First thing he does is go back to Cadia and into the warp

gotta say I love how Spire is portrayed as incredibly diplomatic while surrounded by jerks, from an inquisitor who literally introduces himself just being like "I know you are a traitor" and casually proceeds to give him orders, to the Iron Hands who are like "you should be honored to received the privilege of supporting us in combat". And he just remains diplomatic and plays the game each one in the conversations.

Man, I’ve been watching these cutscene compilations and I gotta day, whoever wrote the dialogue deserves a gold star. Voice acting could be a little better, but the exchanges between adversaries are always so sophisticated.

This was excellently shot, been going through this campaign and know just how tough some of those special missions are. To also get some of these shots must have been a ton of work.

This game truly captures the scale of Warhammer 40,000. Like when the battlegroup comes out of Warp and you see what you first think are dust clouds. Then you see the beams and you see closer “clouds” and it hits you. Those are *fleets.*

Spire: "I want that depraved monster blasted to ash." I was really hoping Korda would quip in response to that like "Mmmm sounds fun."

So uh, did Roboute Guilliman just stood there and watch the whole thing happened between High Admiral and Inquisitor?

Playing the Original and watching this. You got to love High Admiral Spire. His skills, leadership and loyalty to the Emperor and the Imperium are so renown. That even Lord Commander Primarch Roboute Guilliman placed his fleet under Spire's command.

I love how Abbadon just sends out his fleets ones by one, pulling a fucking Araghast and sounding like DR Claw from inspector gadget.

There is one point of confusion for me in terms of the story: the disagreement with the inquisitor. Since the Lord commander, Guilliman himself is there with the macragge's honour, couldn't Spire have appealed to him to be the arbiter of the disagreement? Surely Guilliman's authority supersedes that of the inquisitor?

Imperium - ok we lost Cadia... this kinda suck... also imperium - lets just bring a fleet who 800 years was lost in warp, and make them conquer another planet to be a bastion of the imperium!!!

1:49:00 None of this would have come to pass with the Primarch attached to Spire's forces. The Inquisitor would have bowed to Guilliman's will or perished.

Props for this. All the usual boring "here's my gameplay on easy" stuff is cut. The editing makes it all watchable. 10/10 would click again.

1:10:41 a small ork ship rams imperial vessel and is destroyed in the attempt. Immediately follows a bigger ork ship which also rams and successfully destroys the victim.

Necron Fleet spotted. Technology so advanced they make the Imperium at its height like us in our 21st Century development. How does one defeat such a powerful and advanced force? 58:30 "F**k it! Do as the Greenskins do and ram it at full speed while firing our main guns up their thrusters!" Victory Achieved!

I love how Venesca actually thinks flimsy escorts and light cruisers are gonna kill the Vengeful Spirit.

I wish the storyline for Spire was more focused on a struggle against Abbadon but, this was good! Amazing! And such an epic ending!

Even an Inquisitor would find himself quickly without allies or support and quickly dead for trying shit with a High Admiral. There reaches a point when Inquisitorial authority becomes more suggestion and hoping not to get killed for it. This is far beyond that point.

It was only me or anyone else got exited with Reboute Guilliman's sudden arrival at field of battle ???

I have played these videos probably hundreds of times, but never actually played this game. Just the music alone, not even considering the content, colors, characters, conflict and conversations, is absolutely incredible, amazing. Thank you for posting, and thank you to the team that produced this and the other masterpieces.

The best part of this video is how easy the battles look. That mission involving dealing with an entire Chaos fleet, and then increasing waves of Tyranids was pure hell for me A true Imperial experience
