The Adaptus Mechanicus take on the Drukhari in this battle from Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2.

I see you target engines on Aeldari ships (for all 3) to remove the holofield, however, although the holofield is based off the speed of the ship, if you destroy the generator it removes the holofield regardless of how fast they're moving. This is especially important when fighting corsairs, as they have multiple engines on each ship, so destroying an engine does not slow it down as much as other factions. I normally target gens on eldar ships, but I'm not an expert by any means and would love to see some comparisons.

Dark Eldars doesn't use sails, they have "regular" engines tho

Their holofield is still effected by their speed however. Granted Druchari won't have the cloak with damaged engines, but they will still have some of the accuracy debuff from their holofield. If you remove the holofield entirely they have no accuracy debuff and their low armor/health will be torn asunder rapidly.

I think you waited way too long to micro warp jump at the end there-as soon as you saw both ships, I think that should have been an instant green light since you were probably not gonna get another opportunity like that. Their ships are too fast to hesitate against. Looks like it didn't matter though lol. I'm surprised with the outcome, that other player really threw away his advantage by taking that fight

Thanks for doing my suggestion! Id recommend using eye of the omnisisiah more, that new ability they added. IIve been playing mechancius quite a bit and its fairly stable, hasn't caused any crashes for me Use that one to bait out boosts, because if they dont dodge is statis locks them, and then hammer them with novas

What I find the funniest about the Mechanicus is that anyone working with computers ends up believing in accursed machine spirits and praying to the Omnissiah for the damn thing to comply.

Yo, that a similar build to what Ive been using! You could replace the light cruiser for the one that has the launch bays to get you more vision, also eye of the Omnissiah is awesome to keep ships where you want them, its like having a free stasis bomb for every cruiser.

PE... You can transfer troops now...so maybe if you have a low troop count on a ship, move a troop from maybe two to three other ships to help spread the troop count and bolster against boarding action?

I heard tau was the best in multiplayer if you castle up in the middle, using the kroot sphere as a sort of buffer that you rotate around your other ships and put inbetween attackers and your other vessels. I'd love to see that gameplay if you;re still playing. just got the game this weekend, but had to reset my PC as I had a bug that was messing with me and basically restarting my PC everytime I tried to play a game. seems to be sorted now though *touches wood* PS: I think druhkari actually counter admech so that might be the issue here.

NiN fan, or was the ship called the "reznor" by default? if you;re a fan, do you know that he turned the tate house into a studio at one point. I had the downward spiral when it came out and the conver is the door that the police took away that had "pig" written on it in blood. it's pretty hard to make out what it is, but it's the door with really old blood on it. it was really creepy tbh, but that was that whole crews style. same group MM came from as well.

Seems like in the end the holofields had no effect at all. I wonder if Lances wouldn't be the better choice against eldar and drukari because of the 100 % hit chance? Didn't play online yet.

Mechanics could have been powerful as imperium ships in general in this game. Take a closer look at models to see how many weapons are not used like the lascanon batteries on the avenger battle cruiser.

I don't know if its just me. But the mechanicum is pretty crap, they have exceptional accuracy sure. But they can't kite or kill things before they get close. Yet again they need unique upgrades to make them different from the imperium. And maybe, new ships

Macro and micro games line up with your play style. Just got confused that your flag ship was still standing. I like your Orc games, never know if you are going to get rolled.
