Disliked having to take a side and the shadiness of the scenario but pretty close to the lore as it gets when it comes to Astarte politics… especially when it involves dark and fallen angles. But in the end I selected Osmadiel, they were bros in the end.
Ya know, I just wish that the final mission was just a straight- up fight, with none of those environmental damaging BS shrines. Just one huge, heavily outnumbered fight against four whole fleets, with Abaddon's black fleet as the bosswave, and the only way to get even with the enemy on points is to have the Eldar and the Fallen show up from trust. Is that so hard? Also, do you suppose it is possible to mod it to be like that?
The only right answer is Osmadiel. Especially now that the Lion has returned and is bringing the Fallen into the Dark Angels again. Osmadiel is clearly worthy to be a Risen.

It’s effectively one big traitor boat in that chapter, do not trust a dark angel in any capacity even if they are being a bro
The Dark Angels aren't traitors tho. Azrael himself decreed that the Dark Angels would rather submit themselves to the Imperium's judgement, than cause a Horus Heresy 2.0 just to cover up The Fallen. And this was AFTER Guilliman returned and had Cypher and a full cadre of Fallen Angels on Holovids, throughout the Imperium. And Guilliman knows about their little secret, he just doesn't care.
just to complement the previous comment, the Dark Angels try to hide the fact some of their Astartes tried to kill the Lion, but they were not traitors, they just had been deceived. But they are ashamed of that and think their legion to be unworthy, plus the fact they lost Caliban, a huge fraction of their legion and the Lion because of their folly, they think the other astartes or the inquisition will come for them. Also, because its a matter of honor. Fun fact, a few loyalist legions harbored traitors in their mist, as the traitors also had loyalists, so, in a perfect scenario, they would have just to fill in some papers and explain what happened back in Caliban and they would be seen as everyone else after the Heresy, another Legion loyal to the Emperor.
