i would technically count Maul's choke and saber throw combo as a block breaker too, coz if you activate the choke right when the saber hits your opponent on the return itll bypass their block

I often end duels as Luke by dodging behind the enemy, hoping their sensitivity isn't BOOSTED, and using his dash attack.

I love Kylo's Frenzy.I was dueling a very defensive Kenobi and I was able to defeat him with Frenzy

Advice for the noobs. Everyone knows about the block/striking technique where you strike after as soon as your opponent strikes but a level upon that is to strike at different times. I’ve killed so many people by striking off beat. Most of em expect to go tit for tat but sometimes I’ll strike off beat which disrupts their timing and they never know when you’re gonna strike. I’ve defeated even MAX level opponents that way and it triggers them every time. Idk if what I’m saying makes sense

Vader's throw brakes blocks for a split second when it hits the opponent on the way back

I spent an entire month duelling to the point where few could beat me and was fortunate enough to learn these. But I wish this video was around then.

Watching lightsaber duels reminds me of jedi academy back in the day on pc.. Man I wish they would make jedi academy 2.. Remember those 2v1 fights and if u were the solo that destroyed the other 2 you felt like a total badass lol

Luke's rush can also go through block if you can get the distance right it hits them from behind. You have to be slightly behind them for it to work.

Would you ever consider going more in depth with character play styles in duels? How to duel with Yoda, Rey, etc?

Yoda vs Vader is always a bit of a bitch because you can actually break out of the choke using your presence ability. This also works with breaking out of Kylo’s freeze and probably Maul’s throw.

You can do 4 frenzy atacks if you dash left or right then press frenzy 2 times and look away of your opponent

Love the videos, I know this is late, with Kylo’s frenzy you have to maintain your aim for it to work, and if frenzy kites you to someone on elevated or angled surfaces it can automatically cancel itself out and register you as jumping in the air.

There have been rare occasions where I’ve used frenzy and none of the three connect. There’s a specific sidestep or somehow that people avoid it and I will figure it out someday.

Mindful tip- if kylo does his frenzy, yes you can parry the first two strikes however kylo has a card which gives him damage reduction if you find out he does DO NOT try to parry his attacks his damage reduction will give him a far greater advantage and you will take all the damage of his strikes.

Could I suggest a hero guide series, where you make videos on how to duel/attack as specific heroes. LIEK with yoda and maul I know you should be more aggressive, but like I’m not quite sure how aggressive.

If you doge frenzy at the right time you won't get hit

how long does it take for you to get 2v2 match. my friend and I want to get back into it but last time we tried we had a 10 minute queue time, got into a match then both enemies left after the first round

Please do a video on how to combat these. Yes I know it's mostly just dodging at the right time but to see the right timing in regular time and a slower motion would help.

I use yoda to make my enemies underestimate me

I wish lightsaber duels got a massive change, because rn it’s just block spammers who run away once they get low or just block till their health regens. I would give every lightsaber character a heavy attack like passionate strike, so that stops people from abusing blocks Make it so when u lose your stamina or stays gone for twice as long so u can’t just run away that easily until it’s back Make health regen come back around 85 percent as fast as it as now, to slow it down but not too much. Make it so while blocking health regen comes back even slower like maybe 60 percent slower Maybe make jump attacks go through blocks I’m not exactly sure how this would effect the game but it would definitely make it so there are less cowards who run away or block in the game. Obviously u would need to then buff obiwan, cuz blocking and health regen is his whole thing, Maybe buff mind trick so it cancels any abilities active, except bobas jet pack but the cool down is way longer, buff his defensive rush so it always goes through blocks, and does more damage And buff him so his fully charged force push goes through blocks (the damage but not the rag doll)

There's actually an exploit where Kylo can get 2 block breaking hits from frenzy. Heroic might can also break blocks.

I've heard that luke's rush can hit twice, and if you keep your reticle on your opponent while rushing, it will hit them from behind (Assuming you rushed in front of them and they blocked the first hit) Is this true?

People will hate me but I really preferred the old combat system that was on release. Like you actually had to play tactically so you don't hit a block and get stunned. This new system is just a spam fest

Actually frenzy can backfire really Bad You can Parry the first two hits and then doge the last one It is really hard to pull off but its so effective as the ability basically just gets cancelled

You have a lot of luck on your matches lmao I try finding matches to do 1v1 and most of them only end on 2v1, since the enemy team group up. It is irritating when you're trying to have a good practice :/
