Hey everyone, hope you've been enjoying the video! Just been looking over the video again and noticed that there are a couple mistakes with what I said about some cards, so I want to correct it in this pinned comment. I'll add more to here if there are any more mistakes. The following corrections are: - Flesh is weak: Grievous gains 45% max passive damage reduction at critical health, instead of 50%. Still a completely worth it card as constant passive damage reduction at any health is kinda OP - Blood lust: Kylo is actually still able one shot normal troopers, except heavies, without this card for his frenzy. However, the extra damage from this card is still extremely useful in taking down larger health enemies like heroes and reinforcements quickly, instead of slapping them with your basic attacks several times. Also, thanks to "Xerostar" for providing time stamps for each hero, so you may look at each one in any order: - Anakin: 00:13 - Kenobi: 2:14 - Luke: 4:40 - Yoda: 6:33 - Rey: 8:12 - Grievous: 10:15 - Dooku: 12:29 - Maul: 14:46 - Kylo: 17:04 - Vader: 18:51 If you notice any mistakes too please let me know!
Hey man, just wanted to point out that the blind spot star cars for Dooku actually only increases the AOE angle and not the vertical area if effect itself, only making it more curved, also you can use mauls lightsaber defense star card because that will make it a huge waste. Awesome video anyway entertaining to watch thanks for that 👏
I'm very proud of you Ahsoka. Helping others, is always the Jedi way, even if you're not in the Jedi Order anymore, but it is still the right thing to do, always remember that. May the force be with you..
10:48 for people skeptical of this card, please don’t be. This effectively gives greivous 1000 health because of the damage reduction. As soon as I swapped from the health regen card to flesh is weak, I was blown away by how much longer I could survive.
BRYAN VELASQUEZ If you mean “do the buffs completely go away while regaining?” No. If you mean “Will the buffs decrease as you go out of a certain percentage zone?” Than yes.
10:47 The max damage reduction you can get from the Flesh Is Weak star card is 45%, not 50%. It's 5% reduction for each 10% missing, but once you are missing 100% health you are dead, so 90% health (80 or less health) is the last threshold you can reach while remaining alive. That means the max is 45% damage reduction. Great video! I've been playing the game since launch but I still watched the whole thing, it's crazy how a video for newer players like this can still be fun to watch for any skill level.
Ah, my mistake! It’s still an incredibly useful card. May go through the video and see if there are any other other mistakes I can rectify in a pinned comment or something. Thanks for letting me know
While most people would rather have 2 sets of star card loadouts than one, this deck is still pretty great for people who don't wanna swap out star cards in the middle of a match That being said, I still think some star cards kinda need to be replaced and I wanna get your opinion on it. Anakin: Control the force is pretty great in GA but not really neccessary in HvV so instead I run either Tenacious (extra health) or Steamroll (extra stamina) Obi-Wan: I don't think you should upgrade mindtrick since the ability is not really great Instead i run Perfect Defense/Safeguard (extra stamina) Luke: The push reach card is only really good on HvV if you are on a ledge map Instead i run Epicenter (increase Repulse dmg that one shots heavies and break blocks but just the extra dmg) Yoda: same as you Rey: same as you Grievous: cowardly retreat is useless in HvV so i just replace it Beating Heart (increase health regen so that he becomes tanky with flesh is weak) Dooku: Blind Spot is basically useless since it only increases the AOE and not the range and the more targets it hits, the lesser the dmg. Balanced Duelist (reduced duelist cd) is way better. Maul: same as you Kylo: closing in personally is not really great unless you're getting kills so instead I run Harsh Pull (increase pull dmg) the power reach card is pretty bad unless u have harsh pull cuz once you pull people in, you still have to do 2 full swings to finish them off Vader: same as you What do you think of my setup?
As a Kenobi main please run perfect defense and Jedi resilience all the time never take them off, the third card is up to ur personal choice but I run the sniper force push card
@@iswiftyfox8997 eh tbh in GA just go: Give it all/ Jedi resilience/ forward And in hvv: safeguard/ forward/ give it all Safe guard>perfect Defense as you gain attack stamina too and parrying drains more attacking stamina. You can Ofc use Jedi resilience in hvv esp in a squad but alone or with just one mate one stamina card just does the trick from my experience since 300 regen is really good to begin with.
cowardly retreat is a godsend against good players, coz claw rush can be parried so easily that you'll lose massive health if they know what theyre doing...
This is awesome! Especially since you give a straightforward approach and show the cards in action unlike certain other youtubers. I didn't even skip the adds.
I love BB9e I’m HVV. You can Infinitely stun everyone, and if you have the card that pushes people further away, then you can push them off ledges really easily
I definitely been going back and forth on cards for a bit. Funny to see that I had the same exact cards you showcased for Vader given that he's my villain main.
Will there be a separate video for blaster hero’s? And could you maybe give one load out for trooper modes and one for hero modes? Some cards (like obi wan’s “think it over card” are really only useful for one mode, like HvV, but sometimes useless in trooper modes. Just some constructive criticism :)
for Kylo, i cannot recommend his card 'Harsh Pull' enough. it makes the pull deal 60 damage, which means any non-heavy troopers that you pull towards you will go down in just 1 swing, but without the card you'll still need 2 swings. essential in GA and CS, so id swap it out with Bloodlust as i use the other 2 cards you mentioned in large scale anyway.
Max level Anakin Tip: Nice but don't forget you should change your cards for different maps. For example theese maps like hoth you can use the cards that you reccomended. But maps like bespin (small maps), you should use other cards. This can be change when you play hvv.
I actually edit Samuel Kim's music on Kinemaster (I don't upload it tho) to make it sound more epic then it already sounds, like the Battle of Christophsis, all I did was raise the pitch up +1, and it sounds like the Clone Wars Movie ost
I was certain she was going to come, as I sent a twitter message to the devs and got a reply saying that they are "absolutely going to add more female heroes and villains", so I was in hype mode for a long time. That was until they abruptly announced the ceasing of development in the scarif update. My reaction was basically just "wat" lol. Fair enough though I guess. Hopefully Battlefront 3 all the things said will come to life
Very cool. Glad to see it line up with bf knight in most cases. two experts agreeing is always a good sign. Makes a lot of sense when you don't though. I think I'll follow yours more often than not.
Yeah it's very much a personal preference kind of thing. If you are more into HVV then you may choose more HVV specific cards, and vice versa for GA and CS. I just can't be bothered to change my cards every mode I go into, so these are the best all round cards for me. Haven't changed them for as long as I can remember
You're a real opponent. Awesome movement and a very good stamina controle to find the perfekt balance between attacking and blocking. Thx for your really nice Videos and Game Tipps.
For Kylo at 17:14 i have found it more usefull against trooper to switch bloodlust to harshpull which increase the damage to 60. it means you can kill with one swing 150hp troopers you have pulled. You can also use the frenzy after the pull and kill every troopers, it's a good combo. For Luke at 4:45 i prefer to use epicenter to one shoot basic trooper instead of 1 additionnal dash card. it's leading to a great combo where you can dash in room and then cleared it with repulse. i ususally also add the strong repulse card in closed map or the push reach in open one. that's just what i found myself more efficient but in overall i kind of agree with you and it's a really good video!
Yeah harsh pull is definitely better, it enables you to one shot heavies unlike blood lust and I think it might help you kill reinforcements one hit quicker.
For Rey, you could probably switch out any of the 2 cards for Opportunist. Extra damage when enemy is mind tricked. It’s pretty good :) Loved the video man, keep up the work!
Balance and Focused Sight are an absolute must for Rey especially HvV. The third card is really up to preference, I like the Opportunist card where it's 25 extra damage per swing when used with Insight.
@@LeeEverett1 I used to use both push and defensive rush dmg but now I like to go: Give it all/ safe guard and forward as it makes him more offensive since you can engage at longer ranges/ get more attacking stamina and can get more quick and safe damage in with rush.
Secret Gimmick: Luke’s intensify can be maxed out instantly if you can manage to ledge someone, I have theories to why this happens, but it’s fun to know nonetheless
Can you try the Maul purge trooper mod please I don’t have pc and there’s not much comments also for Luke epicenter Star card it can break blocks so it’s really good
Man, the way you dismantled that Vader with Anakin was top tier. How do you play like that? Is it cos sensitivity is maxed out or is there a difference between console and PC (I'm on PS4)? I got the game last month and I definitely wanna play like you bro
I'm curious of how many hours of gameplay it took to get this good cause I have been playing the game for awhile and I only recently got some hero's to get maxed out cards and I'm still kind of trash
For anyone curious, I have videos on my channel where I have video proof to test each card for each hero. Some cards do more than just their description
I like to use massive strikes and steamroll with anakin because you can 1 shot most guys, allowing for you to build up steamroll faster, eventually his stamina cost is reduced by 15% despite having massive strikes.
I respect your choice and your hard work that has been put in this video, but here's my personal opinion (still an awesome video though) I think Luke's loadout is really bad. First card: Intensify (must-have) Second card should be Epicenter: the additional damage of Repulse goes through the block, not giving the heroes a chance to heal up behind the block, good for killing them off, and gives extra chances to kill some troops. Third card depends on a situation: on the map with the ledges Stronger Push will be better/Third Rush is good/Extended radius of Repulse Extended Push Reach has some small uses, IMO Obi-Wan's cards should be: 1) Maximum health regeneration 2) Extended Push 3) Push-charge reduced/Defensive Rush deal more damage And for the duels you need more stamina.
Wasn't in the video but I really like Sith Trained on Grievous to one shot troopers(other than heavies). Also makes him feel less like a claw rush bot which is nice
Is massive strikes tenacious and steamroll a good combo for anakin is intensify rush immunity and jedi reflexes a good combo for luke and is switching out jedi resilience for safeguard with think it over and forward good for Obi-Wan because mainly this is what I like to use alot but recently I've been using the loadouts you outlined in this video and have been winning alot more but I switched out extended push reach attraction and jedi resilience for safeguard tenacious and epicenter
I know it's not recommended but I run sith trained on grevious. I know it cuts his stamina but jumping and avoiding and closing in with the extended reach thrust surge card let's me make short work of other heroes in hvv. Not to brag but I personally believe if you're not that good as grevious, and you're not confident in your stamina consumption do not choose sith trained
I played on ps4 years ago and I switch to pc a few months ago then I stayed up all night when epic announced bf2 free for pc after converting off fortnite I still retained the specific values of each character, how they move, how they use abilities, who has what abilities, swing timings, play styles, parries, etc. but then I realized how mkb allows me to swing my camera around exactly where I need it in half second timings which made me a better fighter and gave a better understanding to how the game works. so I got cocky one day and removed all my star cards which didn’t actually help much bc I was a lvl 6 Rey on pc, but I was able to still dump on good bad and new players, so basically what I ask is I don’t really rely on abilities to deal damage or kills, what star card maxes out my Jedi abilities?
Great video but I have a question, how do you feel about grievous using his sith trained star card as that can 1 shot most troopers and deal huge amounts of damage, to heroes
Hello the vidio was very helpful and I definitely use the cards but I would have one question. Could you make a vidio where you show all cards from Han solo, Leia, Boba, BB9E would be really great, thanks if you answer :)
Tbh I would rather use the perfect defense ability card for Obi-Wan instead of the longer mind trick one so that I don't have to sacrifice health before I have a proper plan. I'd pick the higher stamina card for Luke too because I just like having to worry about stamina less as him. Edit: that's everything I disagree on
I can't be bothered changing my cards, so these cards are optimised to work best for both modes. It's up to you what cards you choose in the end though
@@FulcrumHQ99 sure.. i will try your setup and see how it works for me... for trooper mods i normally try to build them to onehit normal trooper which means sith trained on grievous and massiv strikes on anakin
What’s your sensitivity? Mine is at 46 zoom, 26 solider and 16 deadzone. This is really good for blasters and shooting but I feel it kind of restricts dueling as you can’t turn as fast. Any advice? It’s decent for saber combat but not efficient as I find that I can’t turn fast enough when dodging behind an enemy to hit them
I'm actually surprised Ashoka is recommending the Think It Over card, judging how Obi's mind trick doesn't even work all the time. In HvV I use his health card and the 2 push cards. Turns him more into assault hero.
Lee Everett yeah I wouldn’t recommend think it over in any circumstance outside maybe HvV. I personally run his health regen, the build up stamina card, and usually the defensive rush card
It kinda sucks how in this game General Grevous' best skill is claw rush. And every other skill is kinda too weak or situational. And normal attacks are kinda... bad
@@harryevans4994 o ok well idk what I tested then. I have a video on my channel that shows footage of all the cards if you are curious why I thought they did count 🤔
I have a bit of trouble managing my stamina when i have "balance" star card so i just swapped out damaging strike for self trained fight i think it was called idk
