How a small team of developers or one guy with a pc can add new additions to a game and a triple a studio with a lot of money has problems doing that job. P.d: great job developing this mods.
Well, the devs have to get budgeting, licensing, permissions from everyone above them, do new animations, record hundreds of voice lines for each character for each of the languages, build abilities from scratch, create support for 3 different platforms, get approval from each platform they release on, and of course meet deadlines. And if the studio is good to them, give them vacations and avoid crunch instead of working 100 hours a week. We don't.
@@TheSpartanCV Thats the joy of mods, now I won't defend DICE and EA fully, battlefront 2 is a great game, but it is criminal how under realized the vision was. Not to mention they up and quit support for it for the most part, they could have done so much more, and I could've done without battlefield 2042, the game is a shit show. That being said I fully understand why they couldn't realize it the way they wanted, I doubt DICE alone would have chose to abandon it, that's all EA being money grubbing scum, but modders made the game amazing and that I am okay with that. If only I could play these mods, for whatever reason, I have downloaded frosty and tried to mount battlefront 2022 mods, and it irreversibly breaks the game for me. I have followed all modding instructions to the letter and tried every single fix under the sun without fail, but when I try to run BF2 modded, I can no longer play BF2 on my system, even if I delete and reinstall the game, even if I delete the mods and all traces of mod software off my system, even if I restart the computer, even if I delete EA launcher and redownload it. The only possible way to play Battlefront 2 again on my computer is to back up files and clean boot, wiping ALL OF MY DATA. If I try to run even the smallest mod through frosty and launch the game through EA, EA will never launch the game again. I have spent months trying to find a way to play vanilla battlefront 2 on my computer without clean booting and I still can't.
@@TheSpartanCVI really respect this comment. Hate the idea of “Erm the devs are so lazy” with no consideration to how many hoops, hurdles and roadblocks devs have to go through for official content. Especially towards a dev team that was as clearly passionate as the Battlefront team was. Much respect, and the work done in this mod is incredible!
That was awesome! I wish I knew where some of these blasters were from. How about the AK style blaster from Andor? Can't find the name of it. Maybe it doesn't have one yet.
Would you consider splitting up aspects of gameplay rework and releasing them as separate mods? For example, have all the new blasters as just one file and have all the reinforcement reworks as just one file.
Never understood how DICE was totally fine with having a measly 4 blasters per class in this game, especially when you realize just how MANY different blasters and types there are in Star Wars
okay these blasters look great but i am confused on the graphics. whats with the blur and depth of field stuff? just makes things harder to see. hopefully you can just turn that off in the mod, but otherwise, i am loving what i am seeing here. lots of great effort to make a great Battlefront mod.
Just something I turned on with an external tool, so that I could bring focus to the guns. Wouldn't ever force that on somebody. Anyways, glad you enjoyed. Look forward to more soon.
@@TheSpartanCV that makes sense. i know mods that tend to misunderstand graphics and turn stuff like that up way too high. so good to know it was just to put the blasters in focus. i saw the other new blaster in the v7.0 vid. looking forward to see what else is cooking.
Can you get this mod on console? (I play on PS5) But do you play on Playstation? (I can see it becouse of the buttons) And if you play on Playstation, how did you get it
I just hooked up my PS5 controller (and also used a mod that changed the UI buttons from Xbox to PlayStation). It is not possible to get mods on console.
