Right at the start of the Right Wing stage, when they notice the Left Wing was damaged, Meta Knight quickly tells them to retract the sails, in order to give more lift to the Left Wing. That was their true solution. They only let Kirby sneak through the ducts though because they planned on releasing Heavy Lobster to finish him once he gets there, which fails.
i love how more ominous the kirbys triumphant return leitmotif is in this song is like your in the pov of the halberd crew and realize how much of a threat kirby is
I've actually thought about this for a while now. Like, the fact that specifically this version of Green Greens plays during Star Dream's fight, in which a major theme is Star Dream realizing it's outmatched, makes me think this song represents how scary Kirby is to fight.
I also love how it also plays at the climax of Revenge of the King where Kirby is literally BEATING everyone up as he gets near the boxing arena. imagine the pov of Bandana Dee and King Dedede as he gets closer and closer while crash sounds, explosions and tremors are felt from the surveillance room lol

Some of the best tracks in Kirby have Green Greens in there somewhere and it never gets old. I mean you almost have to. It's pretty much Kirby's theme.
That leitmotif actually comes from a section in The Great Cave Offensive. Not only it came "first" in super star (IIRC you can choose which mode to go first), but also the one on TGCO is technically the one they keep reusing, as the leitmotif is more fateful to the notes and such. Then again, the song in TGCO is a remix of Green Greens, so there kinda is where it all started

The heavy lobster absolutely terrified me as a kid when I got to the chase part, I'm kinda surprised I got through that, with the stress of being timed on getting through it and all.
Why does meta knight take down the halberd? Like the only excuse for the meta knight re doing everything kirby did thing is that he's "training". It's still a fun mode but there's basically no story and just makes it feel weird.

Yeah, Yoyo is the best though. Honestly, I had a tougher time with Masked Dedede than Soul. it's too bad they made Masked Dedede so easy in Triple Deluxe.
+AquaPiplup To be fair, Masked DeDeDe in Triple Deluxe was in a series of bosses, unlike KSSU where once you just beat him you win. You had to fight Masked DeDeDe, Masked DeDeDe's revenge, then Queen Sectonia in Wasp and Flower form.
why do all taking over the Halberd themes have a flaw (like the sound is cracking) in the beggining. The original, and the remake both have it. It doesn't happen at the loop point though. edit: all ripped tracks since to have this so maybe it's a normal issue
