What an absolute banger. Been playing MTG for over 20yrs, and I LOVE watching LSV construct decks and play lines I know I couldn't personally ever pull together. This draft was the epitome of that. Beautiful.

LSV literally jumped out of his chair when that Mystical Tutor wheeled.

You're one of the world's finest combo players; this was a treat to watch.

I suppose this marks the first and only time LSV drafts Academy and retrofitter, but cuts them.

This is honestly completely nuts to make Doomsday work in cube.

@lsv There *has* to be a win at 36:30. Something like: put troll + swamp back. upkeep mystical for dark ritual, play island, dark ritual into doomsday. Put thassa's oracle, FoW, preordain + 2 other cards back, order doesn't matter. play LED, crack play echo. By this point, your GY is: doomsday, LED, island. you have UU up. if they exile the LED, you draw down to exactly 0 cards in deck, and have oracle + FoW in hand. So it's better for the opp not to exile LED. If opp doesn't exile LED, then we draw down to 1 random card in deck. Here we could also, have oracle + FoW in hand and have an easy win, but if we're unlucky, the last card is oracle. So we play LED, tap blue, play ponder, crack LED for UUU, and play oracle with 0 cards in deck. i think it's a guaranteed win if the opponent doesn't interact, and in many lines, its even guaranteed with FoW in hand.

Stomp not going to the graveyard so you can kill Tarmogoyf is so cute.

Piloting Doomsday is hard enough in constructed, so making it work in cube is awesome!

What an absolutely insane deck. There are some combos that are actually weirdly easy to pull off in cube thanks to the 40-card deck, but I never thought I would see a complete doomsday thassa's oracle deck in this format

Spicy deck. You know when tolarian gets cut and the “worst” mox helps him clear oko it’s gonna be a fun ride.

This was possibly the most fun deck I've ever watched you draft. The games were close, technical, and exciting.

I get that all of the older 4+ mana cards have fallen off a considerable amount. But I'm pretty sure the death of Treachery has been greatly overstated. The card's not a bomb anymore, but it's still among the best of the 5 drops for any midrange deck. I have it ranked very near to the blue Goldspan Dragon.

This... is an insane Doomsday deck. Not hitting any Island/Swamp really hurt this one, but otherwise it has all the things. Casting Life from the Mox is also just *chef's kiss*

I've watched every LSV cube video and this is easily the best and most memorable to date GGs

maybe its because the average cube league player is a lot worse then LSV but i’ve had opponents cast doomsday and lose more often then win

why do you think lorien revealed is so much better than the troll? i totally understand oliphaunt being the weakest but troll slotting so easily into reanimator decks seems too good to completely discount it. its a body that puts itself into the graveyard and acts as a tap land at the same time

I thought this was vintage cube, not vintage constructed.

At 59:10, we don’t have to give up on Thought Scour for the turn. We can cast it in response to Esper Sentinel, and Esper Sentinel won’t tax either spell (since it wasn’t in play for Thought Scour, and first spell had already been cast for Contagion).

That first match was bananas.

Yay Doomsday and we didn't need a stipulation draft. Would love to see some stipulation drafts, within reason. Aetherflux for instance is fun, and you've won with it in a non stipulation draft or two. (Ofc stipulation couldn't apply to team drafts) ask chat or do a poll if you're not streaming. could your opponent have not eaten the oracle with ooze at 38:56? feel like it would have been a good play from their perspective, given they hadn't really seen another way to win from you.
