Visited it en route Genting while in Malaysia for a weekend trip. The steep staircase looked forbidding at first sight. However, a group of elderly foreigners, one even carrying a stick, went past me unconcerned. I was shamed a bit and decided to follow. The climb was challenging and there were monkeys on the way, waiting to be fed. Saw some, undeterred, recording a video from close quarters. The atmosphere at the top was eerie. Overheard a senior tourist taking a deep breath and saying to his companion, "That's quite some exercise fo the heart". I, panting by then, couldn't agree more:-) Appreciated a temple dedicated to Lord Murugan, son of Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities of Hinduism & Parvati, functioning freely in Islamic Malaysia. Worth a visit!
Unfornutely, when i was in malaysia i did not visite it, i only know about melaka because i have ever stayed in melaka when i worked at maruwa company several years ago.
