I don't understand a single word he's singing, but the album Litourgiya is definitely one of the best I've ever heard in my life. Batushka and Mgla are great.
This has to be the best black metal performance ever! Not only is the music fucking magnificent, the atmosphere and look are so oppressive and occult, yet there is no need for cheap gore thrills.
It was an incredible experience. And few hours before it, we went to orthodox church in Kiev to attend a mass, just to prepare ourselves for a true one, in Monteray.

I see only difference in the tempo and in the structure of the song. The rest - the physical body match , the manner of holding the sticks leads toward Darkside ( I may be wrong for sure). For other 2 members of Batushka are surely from the band Hermh - the vocalist and the guitarist in the right, I am almost 100 % sure...

На мой взгляд, лучшая блэк-группа эвер. Очень долго слушал их, мечтал попасть на концерт в Питере, но, в РФ их запретили. Хвала Богу и Батюшке, мне довелось попасть на их концерт в Сербии. Сначала планировали Дом Омладине, а потом перенесли в Калемегдан. После потери девственности, это лучшее, что случалось в моей жизни)
Just discovered these guys recently, and this is my favorite track from the album. Having seen them performing live now, this may sound strange to some people, but this is kind of how I expected Ghost to sound when I first saw a photo of them, instead of a bunch of Scooby Doo villains trying to do rock. But yes, these guys are awesome. Hail from England!! \m/
Musically excellent. Beside all the chills, hype, show and atmosphere. I like it. Always wanted to hear black metal with some "eastern roman" flavor. Great !
This is orthodox black metal, and it only refers to the musical style, not the lyrics (which are blasphemous as fuck). Educate yourself on black metal before you talk.

Polish actually are one of the best ones in black and death metal today... I’m not a true fan of such kind of music but it still was interesting to listen this theme
The identities of the members are unknown, but it is known that they are from well-known bands. Their live line-up contains 8 members. The band's Cyrillic name Батюшка means "father", used to address a priest. The band name should be pronounced as "Batjushka." Despite their imagery, they are not a Christian band.
I think i've figured out the identities of a few of the musicians in Batushka. I'm almost 99.99% sure that Мартин (Martin) the drummer is Darkside, he has the same wrist technique and Inferno doesn't hit this hard. The guitarist playing the BC Rich V is M. same picking style and same size of hands(it's not Nergal, he would have a very hard time getting into Russia). Варфоломей (Barfolomew) the vocalist is almost definitely Bart from Hermh because he has a very similar range and the same name. The bassist is huge, so possibly could be Orion due to the size of his hands and his picking style.
Some people go to listen music and some go to be part of religious experience. BM is simply said of and for Satan and shows are more or less kind of Black Masses yet i try also understand people who go only because they like music but it would be polite to understand that to some people it is more important than that.For example Erik from Watain would rip your head off if you do something like that during their mass and you can see/hear it in Opus Diaboli dvd when he several times says to audience "hss" or "shut your mouths" when they start to yell or clap their hands.

Если говорить о вере православной - чувства верующего оскорбить невозможно, иначе он не тру верующий. Смотрите Нагорную проповедь, Евангелие от Матфея . Хотя и среди самих православных срачи на эту тему не утихают.
А в принципе, что было не так. Как верующего меня эта группа ни чем не оскорбила. Я прочитал тексты этой группы, так они тоже довольно приятные, там вряд ли можно найти подтекст на осквернение христианства(или я очень тупой), а что по поводу перевернутых крестов на их униформе, Апостола Петра тоже казнили на перевернутом кресте, и в принципе, они практически не нарушили никаких правил прославления. Если вам не нравится вокал, это ваши проблемы, мыслите стереотипами, вы тупой даун, который отстал от жизни, вы все ещё считаете такую музыку диструктивной, согласен в физическом плане да(из за огромных скачков по частотам ) , А в духовном поспорю, потому что, диструктивная музыка Это любая музыка, которая несёт окультно сатанический характер. А теперь главный вопрос, почему люди не ознакомившись с биографией группы (или любой информации о ней) так яростно идут против данных творений, это как минимум глупо, или есть одна фраза, '' Слышу звон не знаю где он ''.
Началось хорошо, а затем пошёл какой-то ужас. Весьма иронично в одном предложении называть кого-то "дауном" (что уже само по себе на уровне младших классов средней школы) и в нём же делать банальные ошибки в слове "дЕструктивной".

O Ortodoxa vem do grego. Bom, sabe-se que Ortodoxa é uma doutrina cristã. Os cantos gregorianos eram usados em igrejas católicas mas acho que não seria essa a proposta da banda e sim acrescentar os cantos gregorianos pra dar um diferencial no som, o que soa mais original. Eu pelo menos nunca ouvi um som assim antes, e gostei muito! :) e de nada!
+Mariana Estrázulas Acabei de ler sobre a banda, dizem que não é, e ainda colam com a banda Behemoth uma das melhores bandas da Polônia, adorei essa banda, assim como as eslavas arkona,o som deles parece um pouco com a da banda rotting christ, recomendo essas bandas, muito boas como essa. :)
