@@JesusLordOfLords455 you can tune down all the way down to f# but missing the high b and e string or play on the 2nd fret on standard tuning or use a capo on 2nd fret but sounds weird
Sir, would you mind explaining how you got such a "strong" tone besides the downtuning? Your distortion seems on point, the sound is "firm" wnd not noisy idk how to describe. I finally got myself an 8 strings and I'd like to try this
Awesome lesson, is this a baritone guitar? Im thinking now if i can get batushka tuning on a 6 and omit the two high strings the 8 would have would i essentially be good to go on a 6 string warlock?
Damn, I have the Digitech Drop and from standard E tuning I'd need to lower the pitch by 5 full steps, but the Drop can do 3.5 steps down and then the next is already whole octave (6 full steps) :(
Then you can lower the actual tuning of your guitar by 5 half-steps (BEADGB) and then use the digitech to lower the strings 5 semitones (2.5 whole steps) to achieve the F# on the 6th string. If you are using low-gauge strings (otherwise you'll damage the guitar) you can tune 1 full step up but keeping a perfect 4th between all strings (F# B E A D G) an then drop a full octave with the pedal. Cheers.
I forgot that these muddafuggas tune low as fuck, and here i am sitting comfortably with seven string on my lap confident that i have the equipment i need. I was wrong.
They mostly use 8 strings but quite rarely theyll use 7 strings, I think their 7 strings are either just as back up guitars or maybe I'm wrong but I remember when I was at their gig their was a 7 string guitar just laying at the back while they played, they didn't use it tho, none of the bands did do it could of been the others bands guitar aswell but i'm not sure.
