The ONLY reason to watch Batwoman is to be able to say "I know, right!?" 50 times in 30 (or so) minutes while watching the Thorias take on the latest episode.

Why are we thanking him for torturing himself?

Ok so here is a story. This 21-year-old has unlimited supernatural magical powers, he can also create infinite amounts of money for himself and he also has the ability to time travel and travel to different universes and fictional universes and can create love potions. He even gave himself superpowers, those powers being Superman’s powers and The Flashes powers. He also has a Death Note which is a supernatural notebook that can kill people with their name but you have their name and face in your mind you can also write down and specify the name and time of Death. Our character already has these powers and he’s had these powers since he was 18. He wants to date much older women but he didn’t because society said he couldn’t. He’s now 21 and plans to date much older women that he always wanted and he doesn’t care who he has to hurt to get it. His crush is 36 and she’s married. He is very infatuated with her and wants to be with her. Being with her is his goal and he doesn’t care that he hurts to do it. In his words he “I’ve hurt people and I am going to hurt more to be with her”. He even gets a girlfriend to avoid suspicion but in reality, he was just using and manipulating her so he can achieve his goal. She got pregnant and he knew that this baby would get in the way of his goal so he wrote down in the Death Note that she got a disease and she died 4 weeks later. He hasn’t killed the husband. He has used the notebook and killed people like I said he’s like Light Yagami or Ghost from Power. He has a goal and doesn’t care about who has to hurt to get it. He is a very intelligent and cunning being. He doesn’t want to hurt innocent people but he will do what he has to do to achieve his goal. What do you think of this story? What are some plot holes you see? Please tell me your character analysis of this character.

That is indeed the only reason why Mary got into medicine. She proved that when she launched her ranting tantrum against her father last season for shutting down her illegal clinic, even when he offered to help her set up a legitimate clinic at his own expense. It's all about virtue- signaling and her continuing to further inflate her own already- bloated ego.

@@Adamguy2003 That WOULD prove that, if you don't have "me gay, me stronk" as defining trait, you actually have to put some thought into the character, making it more interesting, even if its "look how mentally damaged i am" (but i am not sure that the writers of this show are capable enough for that, so its most likely luck)

Good point. I forgot about the guy she stuffed with bees. I bet if she is transformed back to "normal", Ryan and Luke will excuse her actions, as being under Poison Ivy's control, instead of her just being herself.

That's the base of the "Ivy" transformation in this show it's just a super ego boost that makes you mental so she at best would only feel bad for it for a little while just like Pam if she ever goes back to normal. Also you must keep in mind that this show, while bad, it's still following DC superhero show format. So basically everyone at some point has an evolution of their role on the team. Poison Mary is a "Doctor" who is suppose to be the "nice/kind person" of the team, but at some point goes evil because of a superpower that has persona properties. Sounds familiar, yes it does, because this is exactly what they did for Caitlin Snow in which she becomes Killer Frost and after a season or two the persona becomes good and a team asset, and if they deem it so they might change her super name if it sounds to villain like as Killer Frost drops the Killer part since she started being a hero. So she is going to have a name change at some point if they are going the route I think they are going. Also the kid that hacked that train might become Oracle/batgirl if they make Luke full time on the batwing thing and because they will say something like Sofie isn't good enough to work the complex systems while Luke is away.

This despite the fact Mary has told her over and over that she was completely in control of who she was, this is who she is and this is what she wants to do. Except murder apparently, that's when Mary will distance herself from her actions.

Ok so I'm a 21 year old girl and my sister is 40. My parents are very strict because even though I have been legally an adult for three years I’m still a child. Seeing my favorite Death Note character's name attached to such outlandish comments, that are in turn being posted on videos that have absolutely no relation to the subject matter, is rubbing me so the wrong way I want to get unreasonably mad about it lol.

The worst "empath" character in any of the DC CW shows is Joe's girlfriend Cecile in The Flash because the characters are just going about their day then she suddenly screams that she saw something in a vision.

Couldn't be am emotional dilemma like "The real Poison Ivy's been trapped in the Batcave in a vegetative state- does she really deserve to be sentenced to that fate again?", or the vines crushing the Batsuit and thus making them a credible threat while Luke races to the scene to save her.

​@@thoriasunlimited4053​I'm just waiting for someone at the top of the GCPD to start interviewing witnesses and connecting the dots between Batwoman, Renee Montoya, Alice, Ryan Wilder, Wayne Entrprises, Jada Jet, and Poison Ivy... and coming to the exact wrong conclusion because of how poorly the writers arranged the events and motivations. By the end of it they'll probably have a crazy conspiracy theory that involves Ryan Wilder being used by Luke Fox as his chief enforcer in a plan to usurp control of Wayne Enterprises from Kate Kane (whom he booked on a plane that mysteriously crashed), disband the Crows (whom he has a personal grudge against), ingratiate the "New Batwoman" with the police (who would be inclined to look the other way after she got rid of their competition), and eventually kill Jada Jet so her daughter can inherit her stocks (after driving her son insane and into a coma so he can't collect) and merge Jetorian Industries with Wayne Enterprises with Ryan as a figurehead. From their perspective, Alice and Poison Ivy are just tools to help eliminate criminal and economic rivals like Safiyah, Black Mask, and that oil company (which is why the former was rarely captured and the latter was released once Montoya was brought onboard to help control her). Mary and Sophie were just co-conspirators that would've been quietly eliminated by Alice if she didn't try to skip town and reconnect with Jacob Kane (the only person that can prove Kate was briefly found alive before Ryan and Luke quietly "sent her away").

The worse part is this Renee and Gotham Renee is played by THE SAME ACTRESS.

Alice feeds Mary's narcissism, so that's why she lets it slide I think. Mary is a horrible person. Remember she was partying the night after being forced to systematically remove her medical professor's organs. A normal person would be traumatized as hell, but not Mary.

Comparing them, why is Alice the more sane one xD

Honestly, to me this whole Mary/Alice thing feels like a thinly veiled potshot at Ruby Rose. This is clearly a role Kate would have been in and they just swapped her out for Mary even though it made zero sense and now with the explanation Mary gave in this episode, it's as if the reason they're inexplicably getting along is because they each realized the other is a trade-up from Kate. I mean, tell me that "found the sister we always wanted" line wasn't just a big FU to the Kate character. Sure, Alice murdered Mary's mom, but hey, she's not Kate, so she can't be that bad, right lol? The really ironic thing is that it took a real life falling out between Ruby Rose and the producers for them to finally acknowledge how horrible Kate is, and they're only doing it out of spite.

It's ALWAYS been that way for me! All I've seen of the show itself are commercials and the clips that JLongbone uses in her reviews (Since neither Thorias nor Heelvsbabyface use clips from the show in their reviews), and that's all I'd ever want to directly see of that show!
