I could see why that would be. For one, it shows the writers don't have a spine. They're unwilling to take a chance. For the other, it shows they're not willing to treat a gay person the same as any other character.

When Kate finds out about their plan, instead of informing Arkham she takes out their guards to try to handle Alice herself which led to the Arkham inmates--along with her--breaking out.

And with "protectors" like the thief and misandrist Kate Kane and Ryan "Anyone who criticises me in any way is racist" Wilder I'm surprised this version of Gotham hasn't been completely destroyed and all its people killed.

That's a valid point. But the show is doubly bad... Because in the real world, there's organizations and charities that help ex-convicts find work and start small businesses. And this damned show acknowledges that by having Ryan Wilder talk to a social worker, who literally gives her a good idea about potential employment.

What's even fucking dumber is PLEADING GUILTY when you're innocent. Is EVIDENCE a non-factor? If she didn't do it, there should be clear evidence she didn't do it. From what I've seen most Security Guards just watch cameras and call the police if something goes wrong.

And logistics is about 60% of security. Paperwork! It makes the world go round. Ryan would easily have gotten a job as a security guard. They would’ve just stuck her at some oil rig doing nothing but logistics, no security whatsoever. I know because security is my profession.

@@andrewdiaz3529 Crows Security is the full name of them as at the start of the series they were just protecting the upper-class. By the end of season 1, they were the only law enforcement agencey as the GCPD seemed to disapear as the Crows started to be put in places the GCPD should be.

Well, by the end of this season, they will be known as a white supremacist group & a sub-sect of the Proud Boys, all in one.

Truly the story for the crows replacing the GCPD would’ve been a better sub plot than the main story itself. At least the theory plot twist of why the crows took over the job of the GCPD is because the crow top members excluding Jacob have conspired to replace the local GCPD and using their dark history of corruption and abuse of power, they slowly savage the image of the GCPD further down negative instead of 20% approval. Using the media to portray the local police as shitty individuals. Portraying the Crows as more effective law enforcement department. Acting like a people approved police force. 👮‍♀️ Even the recruits would look like trainees for white supremacy groups. Their inability to uphold the law. Make them protect the 1% while the crows end up protect the citizens of all classes: poor, middle and upper. Also acting like a pro equal rights organization while portraying the GCPD as racial profilers. Maybe the high investment involves some special spy ops team committing espionage towards corporations, local and international. Using some blackmail on the top executives to invest in protection from the crows. As well as advocating class and worker protection. To the point that it has the mayor, the governor, and senator of Gotham city state in their pockets to slowly disband the GCPD. With one false flag attack involving a raid that causes major collateral damage towards its citizens to the point of media and citizen outrage. The citizens of Gotham push their ACAB shout out towards the GCPD. And the crows would protect the citizens and feed the homeless and shelter them. Doing the actions that the local GCPD lack the budget to do. Having the citizens to shout out disband the GCPD and the crows would agree to advocate the GCPD disbandment. The Crows would recruit volunteers with “permission” from the local citizens. Truly earning the citizens trust. Also some redistribution of wealth and welfare to the poorest of citizens. Thus the crows would finally replace the GCPD as their end goal reach its conclusion despite obstacles that could’ve turn against their interests to replace the local police.

I’m praying for a 3rd season, I don’t even watch the show but the reviews are funny as hell.

Actually that is one of the things the writers of Flash have gotten right with a character from the comics, Reverse Flash is a paradox and no matter how many times he gets erased from existence. The Reverse Flash always eventually returns to make Barry's life a living hell.

Imagine if every single thing related to Batman featured the Joker, in some cases he’s a major antagonist in others he’s literally just there to be there, that’s what the writers have done with Thawne, they know he’s a fan favorite so they keep showing him because they know fans of the schlock will watch if he’s in it.

Just waved it off with "Time travel's complicated." At least the version from Flash Season 3's first episode and Legends Season 2 was a time remnant Barry stopped from killing his mother Nora until he was forced to let him go and kill Nora again to fix time. So at least that version's existence was explained.

The funniest part is that the "protected" groups under communism used to have strong parts, even in SJW writing. Back in the 90s and 00s the entire point of having gay people etc in TV shows was so that evil hillbillies could randomly appear in downtown LA to kill them. It's Batwoman. Setting up potential plots and then failing or DUMPING them an episode later is the only consistent element in this show, next to the obnoxious writing.

It will most likely come up sporadically, then either end in her “almost dying” or getting superpowers, because the writers watched an episode of Smallville.

In the DC universe, their police forces AREN'T full of former bullies and people who used to be bullies who want the power with a few good cops who end up being pressured into resigning after they oppose the corruption of the remaining majority of cops. Basically, since in their universe the cops are good that movement wouldn't get off the ground and such a silly scenario (which assumes the defund the police people have no plan) wouldn't happen.
