BATWOMAN EPISODE 14 REVIEW | Stop the Pain! 

Batman: *Stays out of the public eye* Batwoman: *Jumps down to a police station* "I'm gay!" 😂😂😂

Plot twist: This entire show has been a hallucination by Batman under the influence of Scarecrow's fear gas. It almost broke him but he will rise again.

This show is so bad, it's shut down Thorias's liver and gave him jaundice.

I still can't believe this garbage is gonna be back with a 2nd season.

From now on I'm operating on the theory that Batman finally defeated his entire rogues gallery and retired. But the people of Gotham were so used to mayhem that they couldn't live without it, and started creating new problems to distract themselves. Sure its stupid, but at least its not preachy.

Wow. Mary has time to be a medical school student, run a secret clinic, AND spend enough time on social media to seriously affect it! Amazing.

Pressing F for your sacrifice. Sophie: “Do you think I’m an idiot?” Thorias: “Of *course* I think you’re an idiot.”

Funniest part of the episode for me is when Sophie waxes about how everyone should be more like Batwoman (a person that, in Sophie's knowledge, has done nothing but let Alice escape and make situations worse) and that she doesn't trust the Crows anymore. Let's look back on the questionable actions undertook by the Crows that she disagrees with- Oh wait, they were all stuff done by HER; made even worse by the fact that she was helping a vigilante on top of it. The only thing the Crows have done unethically without her involvement is the suspicion that they were paid off for the Lucius Fox case, which their involvement was only made known in this episode, that she doesn't know about. Her self-rightous stand to uphold Batwoman as the moral standard we should hold ourselves to has no basis or build up in the writing outside of Sophie really wanting to bone Batwoman. And, of course, the show doesn't even explain what Batwoman really does differently. Also, how this relationship affects her and makes her significantly more chirpy and flirty makes no sense for her character and has no flowing transition. And, of course, judging by the preview of next episode, we're preparing for a whole episode revolving around saving Alice. They keep making plots where we want the heroes to fail.

So...by "Batman represented values that she believes in..." Is that value...justice? Like, actually being a detective and gathering clues, turning criminals in and leaving the justice system and due process to do its job? Like taking down organized crime and the corruption of the GCPD so the good cops can do their jobs? Because if so, that mom is right. It's a great value to believe in.

Maybe the reason everyone in this show acts like an idiot is because some of Scarecrow's discarded fear toxin poisoned the water supply?

Batwoman...the only show where the "hero" does not stop a single major criminal... What an idol to young women.

I'm calling it. By the season finale review, Thorias will show us the true origin of the Joker -- he was driven insane by being made to watch this show.

"Because the script so" and "because it was in the script" should be your new catchphrase lol. I crack up when you use with these reviews. Its truly more entertaining than the actual show.

*Batwoman returns* Me: "Will you guys finally release a good episode?" Batwoman: "Nope!"

I both look forward to these reviews and fear them at the same time.

At this point I would say Thorias has way more motivation and background to become a villain than basically every villain who has appeared on this show. Plus he's a whiteman so there you go Batwahman writers, make it happen!

They also managed to ruin Two Face with a mere mention. Luke said Duela's uncle Harvey IS a beloved DA meaning he can't be Two Face cause all of Gotham would know who he was especially Luke, the person who's father and then himself worked with Batman.

Shouldn’t Batwoman, who literally outed herself as a lesbian have already put a target on any other lesbians back especially Kate Kane(cousin of Bruce Wayne(multi-billionaire), out/proud lesbian and apparently known for her real estate firm)? Hell, if even Mary put 2-2 together her cover would have been beyond blown.

*Gotham:* Bullock: We got away with worse...there are no heroes here. *Batwoman:* Kate:...I’m not Batman...MAYBE I’M BETTER??

I finally saw some clips from Supergirl. I'm somewhat uncertain of which show is worse at this point. If these get ratings or support from "fans" somehow, I think it says more about the rooted truth of our collapsing civilization than anything else.

You know ruby rose is really just pinhead in disguise to cause thorias a lot of pain and suffering.

Given that it's Batwoman, that "her mother wants her to be something she's not" they don't elaborate on is 100% "I'm gay and she wants me to be straight".

The CW's Poo-Poo/PeePee writers' room strikes again. It's pretty hilarious when they retcon their own plot points just to serve the plot of the day. This show is as flat as Ruby Rose's chest.

Duela Dent was the original Harley Quinn back in the day. Even spent some time with the Teen Titans under the Alias Harlequin after her stint as the Joker's daughter.

Edit: She gives people the same scars she has and she does it because of beauty and her own scars were due to her own deeds. Yep. This is what it has come to, folks. A big time TV show shamelessly copies a Japanese urban legend, except sucks all the meaning out of its lore by removing its most interesting aspects.

Batwoman - crap Supergirl - crap Legends of Tommorrow - crap after season 2. Arrow - Oliver left the Island in Season 3 or 4. it was over years ago. Flash - still hasn't concluded reverse-flash story even after 4 plus seasons. GREG BERLANTI has a habit of kicking a dead horse. and he's woke as hell.

FYI, it's been pretty well established that Mary is a social media influencer. At least they've claimed that in several episodes, and I think Kate cited it when a restaurant was getting all homophobic about her taking a date there. Mary also claimed to be a social media influencer when threatening someone else at another point in the show. Because, dontcha know? Maintaining a popular social media presence and keeping up with the demand for new content is an easy thing to squeeze in between medical school, where you are actually studying ahead of the curriculum (and Mary claimed to have done when treating victims of the elevator sabotage early in the season), and running an underground clinic (i.e. one with little or no institutional support, or other employees to take some of the load off). So Mary: 1. Is a medical student so dedicated to her studies and so good a student that she can read ahead while keeping up with her current coursework. 2. Runs a functional clinic with the help of zero nurses, techs, admin or clerical staff, orderlies or any other personnel. She has to clean the place, make the beds, sign for all deliveries, put away the supplies and take care of each and every piece of equipment, while treating every patient, and performing every single treatment and test and procedure herself, with no help. 3. Puts in all the time and effort needed to maintain a significant and noteworthy social media fanbase that on her word, high class establishments instantly cave and reverse their policies, lest they alienate that massive on-line following. 4. Attends lots of galas and public functions as a member of a prominent Gotham family (granted, that social status could mean she has a slight advantage over the typical Twitter or Instagram celebrity, and doesn't need to spend as much time on her content to placate easily distracted fans, but either way, that's got to be a considerable time drain and does nothing to leave her more time and resources for 1 & 2). That she is actually a social media influencer IS a thing they've established, but it does not do anything to fix the verisimilitude of this show.

While I don't like Sophie I agree with Jacob in trusting her with helping with the Crows. Because you know she's the ONLY member of the Crows with a name! seriously name one other crow member that was relevant its the same thing with Supergirl and the DEO and Alex, of course shes the best agent because she's the ONLY agent!

Batman also wouldn't push his sexual identity on the audience. He's a crimefighter. It has nothing to do with LGBT persecution complex, it has to do with the factor that Batwoman's sexuality is being shoved in the audience face, at the expense of narrative(to add insult to injury). That she establishes herself by vandalizing Batman's legacy. The writers have written themselves six feet under, and Batwoman is that once in a millennium trainwreck one watches from the sidelines, mouth agape, in anticipation of the glorious inevitable wreckage. The best news for this show is when it's canceled.

In the words of the famous Mystery Science Theater 3000 cast: They just didn't care.

I seriously doubt their going to use the Scarecrow, their just using his fear gas for the plot. Mouse is going to go crazy a probably die which will make Alice want to team up and beat Mouse's Dad and somehow though all that Alice will get redeemed. Because that's his purpose to redeem Alice that's why he's so over the top evil with no rhyme or reason, to look so bad it makes Alice look good. I'm mean does he even have a name? Is he shown in the credits as "Dr. Campbell" or "Mouse's dad"?

If I was a billionaire I would buy every single copy of Batwoman and watch it burn like the Joker from The Dark Knight when he burns the money and I just want to know how is this trash getting a second season it's not liked it hasn't got great reviews it's literally one of the worst shows in superhero history oops my mistake shity hero history how in the hell is Ruby Rose an actress when she literally looks the same in every single thing she plays in

Being a social media influencer, is the most believable thing about Mary. Until they told us about the med school, that's kind of what I thought she was.

I just love how the comments of this single video has more creativity and wit than all the episodes of Batwoman combined. And you, Thorias, are the catalyst that made it possible. Thank you.

Duela Dent, aka The Joker's Daughter, aka Harlequin (before Harley Quinn), is a villain who claimed to be the daughter of most of Batman's rouges at one time or another (Two-Face was her real father), who turned good, and was a long time on/off member of the classic Teen Titans, Pre-Crisis. Post-Crisis she has been all over the place, and in some places actually the Jokester and Three-Face's daughter (Earth 3 hero versions).

Just a small critique. On Alice's list of atrocities we can never really tell what's being added because you add it to the list as soon as it's up and ding the bell. I think that gimmick would be much more effective if you threw the list up a half second before you added the number to the list with the ding. Maybe even put the addition in a different color so we know what's changing on the list. Keep up the great work man!

Man. I still haven’t started this show. But I really feel bad for Batwoman (the character, not the show) fans, as well as fans of other LGBT heroes. You know studios will be dumb enough to attribute this to fans just not wanting women or LGBT heroes on tv. Not only will legitimate critics be branded bigots, but any chances of me seeing superheroes like Wiccan and Hulkling (yes, I know they’re Marvel, but these studios have a nasty habit of copying each other) will be further reduced.

From what i was reading on twitter, most the of fans only like this show because of the representation of an LGBT lead as oppose to the character development and storytelling. Representation is cool, but storytelling and character development is what keeps the fans coming back.
