I have been wearing a pair of these for a little of 10 games, best skates I have ever had. Right from the first skate they fit like a glove after one heat molding.

How did u heat them? Typical 175 for 5-10 minutes?

Got my hands on the Prototypes of these. Actually I intended to get the new X5 Pro but ended up buying these very unique ones at a very good price. Unfortunately I am not in the US so I can't visit you guys for a purchase. But I enjoy your reviews a lot Bob, thanks!

I just ordered yesterday custom design I hope it will be amazing product. Last year I bought myself two pairs of CCM AS1 and when I start skating, I thought to myself can skates be any better than this? CCM maid absolutely amazing wonderful brilliant product with there supertacks line. This Christmas I’m adding The third and final pair of Bauer Hyperlite. Three pairs of skates enough for me. I really hope I will be impressed with Bauer and will like them the same way a respect CCM Super Tacks AS1. Merry Christmas to all.

Curious if the Hyperlite being the top of the line Vapor Skate is stiffer than the 3x Pro. By a quick squeeze it certainly didn’t feel so.

Depends on what part of the boot you're squeezing. If you're squeezing from the tongue and eyelet area, like most people, then it will feel as though the HyperLite is softer. This is primarily due to the eyelet facing's strategic cut-outs area which increase flexion. If you're squeezing the quarter package and areas which promote lateral stiffness then it should feel just as stiff, if not stiffer. The HyperLite boot is plenty stiff where it matters!

Would you recommend this skate for a defence man. When I tried the skate on I felt like I had a lot of flection forward. Do you think this would mess with my backwards skating. I'm currently using the Bauer supreme 1s D. So I'm looking at the hyperlite fit 2s.

The Hyperlite skate has a new Hyperflex technology that improves the overall flex profile, which is likely why you noticed that when trying it on. The lower part of the Vapor skates are softer for increased response and the upper part of the skate is stiffer allowing for increased lateral support. Whereas, the lower portion of the Supreme skate is stiffer, allowing every push to build towards maximum energy transfer and faster straight line speed, and a softer upper to maximize range of motion. Because of the fit system, you can now choose your skates based on the performance benefits. Depending on the type of player/defenseman you are and what you're looking for performance wise either skate can work. Vapor is generally for agility and quick speed, Supreme is for power and straight line speed.

what is a more durable sky's the ccm ft4 pros or the hyperlites been in vapors for years was thinking about switching to ft4 pros

Both of these skates have high end technology and will be the same in regards to durability. Switching from Bauer to CCM would be the biggest adjustment so trying them on to feel the difference might be beneficial.

I went for just skates, but dropped way more and got the vapor hyperlite skates, vapor hyperlite stick, tape , all black laces, new mouthgaurd, and am trying them all tonight

Hey Terry, looks like we were a little late to the party as we see you picked up some vapor 3X pro skates! Thats a great choice with many of the features the top of the line hyperlites have. Our recommendation would have been to go to a store to get fitted if possible since most of the skates on the market now are going to be very different than your graf 735's. But even if you weren't able to get fitted it looks like the 3X Pro's are working out for you!

Hi, whats the difference between the 2x and the 3x bauer vapor skates? My first guess was that the 3x is just the newer model of the 2x, but then I saw, that the 2x is considerably more expensive than the 3x. Usually, newer models are more expensive, so I am obviously missing something here. Can you please explain?

The 3X Pro is the updated version of the 2X and the 3X is the updated version of the X2.9. However, in both instances there are significant upgrades from the previous generation in areas such as the quarter package, outsole, liner, tongue & more. So to answer your original question, the 2X would be a higher end model from the 2019 Vapor lineup than the 2021 3X. Thanks!

@@sevelo321 Let me sort that out for you...the 3x pro compared to the 2X pro is almost the same it features only a lower grade/different runner and not the recoil tongue, but fairly similar. The liner might be a tad different. All in all you're looking at two really good pairs of skates. I'd stick with the 3X pro since they're only marginally different and feature a better price.
