What reel are you using and does it cast far enough with that 3/8oz head?

Abu Garcia Revo X. It's the main reel I use for the bay. I think for $99, it's the best economy reel on the market. Remember to watch all your gear off with fresh water after saltwater exposure.

Hey Afran love ur vids bro. I'm pretty new to the bay fishing stuff and I'm just trying to dial in the swimbaits right now before I try different techniques so far so good and it's safe to say that I am hooked on these spottys right now but, for some reason all my fish have been on darker crustacean color swimbaits, I have not cought one fish on a bait fish color. Are the lighter bait fish colors more for summer time? When there is bait fish around I still can't get them on the lighter colors just dark, not complaing cause the darker swimbaits are working for me I'm just trying to dial that technique in. Sorry for the lengthy comment but it seems like ur the man when come to this stuff.

I think they like the darker baits better. But they definitely eat bait fish colors. Keep after it. If they are not eating the baits fast, slow it way down. Today we fished and the bass were shallow (6ft) and eating very slow moving or dead sticked baits. Good luck out there!

Hey Afran, couple questions for you. 1. Are those Ritual Angling rods spiral/acid wrapped? It looks like it in your videos but I can't find the info on their website or TW's or any pictures that clearly show it. 2. In regards to Hobie kayaks, I'm debating on getting my first one. I'm going between a PA12 or the new 2019 Outback. Looking for something not too heavy to transport but stable and able to support my weight (kinda heavy for my height). Mostly do bass fishing around our lakes here but also plan to spend time on the bays too. What's your opinion/recommendation to a newbie like me that's used to a bass boat? Thanks in advance for any insight you can share!

I have two custom Rituals. But the rod in this video is a custom 6’9”M. Not sure of the blank, I bought it from a bargain bin at a tackle store. Those Rituals are nice though. I like the 71M and 75MH
